The remaining minutes of their car ride were in complete silence. The place was empty when they stepped into the lobby building of the press company. Sofia looked around and examined the interior design of the company.

She then took a quick look at the time on her phone and saw that they just spent eleven minutes on the road.

It was earlier than their expected time of arrival. This also means that she could chat longer with boss Wang if necessary.

"The subway is the quickest path to go here," Jing Jing told Sofia when she noticed the young lady was looking at her phone.

"We were quick indeed! Thank you, sister Jing!" Sofia exclaimed and returned her phone inside her bag.

"What are you doing here, Jing Jing? Didn't boss Wang fire you already?" one of the company staff suddenly asked as they walked near the entrance and were heading to the elevator.

"I am not here for my employment," Jing Jing responded with no emotions shown on her face. She did not even glance at the staff and just continued moving.

"The hostility is indeed intense. Why are they so angry? Even if I expected them to react madly, I did not expect to be this way!" Sofia commented. The anger of the staff to Jing Jing was actually evident in her face.

"Yeah, all of the workers here are now hostile to me. To think that we were eating on the same table for so many years. They have really cut our bonds as friends! Don't be surprised of the other's reactions later," Jing Jing smiled bitterly. She pressed the button of the elevator and the door instantly opened. After entering, she pressed the number 3 again and the elevator closed with only the two of them inside.

"So, this is the rank 1 press company of district 7 looked like," Sofia commented.

"The employees are mostly on the field. So, there are only a few that are in the company," Jing Jing explained. Sofia nodded her head and stared at her reflection in the elevator. She casually combed her hair using her hand and tucked them behind her ears.

The elevator quickly stopped on the third floor and the door opened. They exited and walked in the left direction.

"Miss Sofia, come this way to the office of boss Wang. He should be there today," Jing Jing spoke.

Out of a sudden, a loud thump of foot sounded from behind.

"YOU! You jinx my profit! Get out!" the voice of boss Wang suddenly demanded when they entered his office. His index finger was pointing at Jing Jing and his eyes were glaring at her in anger.

"Jinx my profit? AHH..." Sofia mumbled in understanding. She had recognized that the man was actually those types of people who believed that earning profits would be affected by negative opinions. Whilst it was true that negative image had a bad impact on the business. But, it was not applicable in all situations.

For instance, Jing Jing tells him that the investment that he was involved is a scam. Sofia realized that if the investment would really become a failure, boss Wang would not blame anyone other than Jing Jing.

This kind of people, she had met many of them in her past life. Those people who could only blame others even though they were responsible for their failures.

"Boss Wang, good afternoon!" Sofia greeted the man and her expression looked professional.

"GET OUT!" Boss Wang yelled at Jing Jing and completely ignored Sofia.

Jing Jing only looked at the man without blinking her eyes. She was analyzing their situation and was also waiting for Sofia's order.

"No one is getting out. Sister Jing is my employee now. And it was me who told her that the investment you have joined was a big scam," Sofia asserted.

Hearing her words, boss Wang finally looked at her. But unlike his reaction towards Jing Jing, he seemed to be hesitant about what to do. He could speak with no regard for anything to Jing Jing since he had known her and she was once his employee. But in front of Sofia, the young lady is not his employee. Their connection must be taken with utmost care.

"AHHH..." boss Wang spoke with a defeated expression on his face. He then gestured for Sofia to take a sit on the empty chair. "Have a seat, young lady! It is my honor to have you visit my company!"

"We tried to contact you through your phone, but you have rejected our call. We have no choice but to come here. Boss Wang, apologies for not giving any prior notice of our plans," Sofia stated but did not take a sit.

"AHH... I don't one to speak with the certain someone. Please have a seat!" Boss Wang spoke and offered Sofia the chair.

Yet, Sofia shook her head and declined. "No need, boss Wang. Our stay won't be long to avoid disturbing your working time. I came here to give you the greatest scope you could ever have!" Sofia started.

"Greatest scope. That sounds intriguing! What is it?" Boss Wang asked. He leaned his back on his chair and clasped both of his hands while looking at Sofia intently. He was trying to observe Sofia's expression if she was lying at him or not.

"Boss Wang, what do you think about the mayor's family and the Lee family? Which family is more wealthy and powerful in our district?" Sofia questioned.

"Hmm... Not that there is bad news but as far as I am concerned, we cannot publish a piece of news against those families. Otherwise, it would be the end of my business!" Boss Wang answered.

"Right. They are families that people and business owners would not dare offend," Sofia nodded.

"So... about the great scope you said... did the two families have a conflict? Young lady, it may be a piece of interesting news, but, if they are really in conflict, we should not meddle it and publicize those kinds of stuff," Boss Wang said.

"Contrary!" Sofia clapped her hand and smiled. Then, she continued, "Not a conflict but a union. Boss Wang, on Saturday this week, the young master of the Lee family and the daughter of the mayor will have their wedding ceremony!" Sofia revealed.

"Huh?" Boss Wang suddenly froze, as if his mind was not able to process the information that Sofia had shared with him. After several seconds, he forced himself to say, "Could you repeat what you just told me, young lady? I think, there is a problem with my ears!"
