Chapter 233 - Sofia's First Prospect Of Future Subsidiary Company (1)

"Sister Jing, do you think my goals are too high?" Sofia suddenly asked.

Hearing such a personal query, Jing Jing slowed down her driving speed and slightly bite her lower lips. Her gaze barely lowered before her attention returned to the road signs on the streets.

"Why do you suddenly ask me? Miss Sofia, did someone make a comment that your goals are too high?" she inquired.

"The outsiders can say what they want... I can do what I want. So far... I think, no one has known about my goals. But, you have accompanied me, so, you must have figured out some of my plans, right? What do you think, sister Jing?" Sofia implied. Her clear eyes shifted towards Jing Jing's face to see her expression. She quickly perceived that Jing Jing became a little cautious towards her question.

"Hmmn, I am not that capable of reading someone's goals just by accompanying them, Miss Sofia. You think highly of me but I have not really figured out your plans. I can only see that you want to start the business. But as to why you choose this business or what you want to achieve behind this, I am not sure," Jing Jing smiled.

In her mind, it was not as simple as opening a business or earning a profit. She had observed and speculated Sofia's plans but understanding the reason behind the young lady's decisions was a different matter that Jing Jing would not dare to do.

"Ohh... o-okay," Sofia replied. Unlike Jing Jing, she could completely comprehend the cautious nature of Jing Jing. Sofia knew that such character was one of her best qualities. The lady would not easily jump to conclusions nor assume unless there is a certainty.

"Miss Sofia, let me help you with the publicity of the wedding ceremony. I shall contact Boss Wang directly later to arrange the promotion of the grand occasion. With this information, he would be ecstatic to publish the news to the public!" Jing Jing told Sofia without glancing at her. She focused her eyes on the road and continued to drive.

"Yes, thank you, sister Jing," Sofia said, completely dismissing the earlier question that she had asked.

"Haha, in terms of age, I can be considered as your big sister! Yet, you handled most affairs of the business, Miss Sofia. Just by listening to your phone conversations, I felt guilty to see you doing these arrangements that I could do too. You can just tell me to do it, you know? After all, I'm your employee!" Jing Jing chuckled and reminded Sofia of her role. Her hand gripped the steering wheel and as they speed up straight ahead of the street.

"Mmn, it's not that much to do. But, once I have too much on my shoulder, I will surely ask for your assistance to carry some company responsibilities, sister Jing! Especially in the future. There will be a lot to oversee," Sofia agreed. 

"In the future... yes! I look forward to that! Anyway, now that you have secured the cost for our venue, what's your next plan?" Jing Jing curiously spoke.

"I wish for our business to launch an app to showcase online customers too. It's a wide market and more convenient. Sister Jing, there is a small post in the 4th block from this street. I'll have a meeting with the experts in software development to create the online application," Sofia answered.

"Experts?" Jing Jing wondered.

"Uhm.. yes! I wonder if you are familiar with them, sister Jing? Their names are Franco and Riel."

"Riel... Franco... Hmmn... I remembered these names back in my college department but they are not experts at all! How shameless of them to call themselves experts in front of you! They are pretending to be experts to find a job," Jing Jing grimaced. Several lines had appeared on her forehead as she frowned at the idea that someone had actually scammed Sofia.

"Oh, it's not what you think, sister Jing" Sofia pursed her lips. 

She did remember when she initially chatted about developing an application to the two men. They did not claim to be experts indeed! 

But, Sofia also remembered some fragments of memories in her past life, these names would become well-respected in the software industry. 

They will gain recognition in encryption and decryption not only in the local and national fields but the in international arena. A multi-billion software engineers that had sold so many codes in the famous online sites.

It was a fortunate encounter that she meet them before they have established their status. Hence, she would never let such an opportunity to build a connection with them be slipped away from her grasp.

On the other hand, Jing Jing still felt that someone was taking advantage of Sofia because of her lack of experience. This made her upset.

"Are they scamming people now? In district 7, there is no expert when it comes to software development. Miss Sofia, please reconsider your meeting with them," Jing Jing paused and thought for a while. "Well, if you want to look for software developer experts, I could make a suggestion now. You should hire the developers in district 4. They are well known in this field. I can contact them too," Jing Jing offered.

"It's fine. I remembered that they did not really describe themselves as experts. I just think that they are experts. Since developing software and programming are hard to do, those who finished this degree must be called experts! Besides, we must support our local talents," Sofia answered in a clear voice.

Jing Jing could only nod her head and did not argue anymore. As she pulled over the side of the street, she saw two men dressed casually in jeans and shirts. It was the location that Sofia had told her to meet the so-called experts. 

"Here we are, the fourth block. I should come with you and meet them. In case they will exaggerate their skills when talking to you, I will definitely intervene, hmmmph!" Jing Jing stated and swiftly stepped out of the car before Sofia could reply to her. 

The young lady could only shake her head while looking at Jing Jing, who was glaring at the two men. 

Sofia then grabbed a brown envelop from her bag and pushed the car door open.

"Hi, young boss! Good to see you again. The famous Jing Jing is here too. Hehe... Hello! Hello! Young boss, have you really finished the design?" Franco chattered and waved his hand at Sofia and Jing Jing. He was grinning from ear to ear which made Jing Jing secretly roll her eyes.

"Yes, I have made a draft. But, I have to require the two of you to sign a non-disclosure agreement and exclusivity of this software," Sofia casually replied and pulled a different set of papers inside the envelope.

"No problem. Let me lend your pen and we will sign this!" Franco affirmed.

After Sofia handed a pen, the man turned around and went to his companion. 

''What's so great about her design that we must sign this agreement? I think that she is thinking too highly," Riel whispered to Franco.

"Just sign the papers! I have placed my signature. We are lucky that this kid is willing to hire us. Without her, we have no more means of earning money!" Franco stated.

"Fine!" Riel compromised and took the pen. He quickly scribbled his name and signature before handing the paper back to Franco.

"Young boss, we have signed the agreement!" Franco said and returned the paper to Sofia.

"Okay. Here are the drafts that I have created. I also researched some coding commands but I'm not really an expert. So, the drafts might be confusing, These are the designs," Sofia answered and hand the envelope to the man.

"Designs?" Franco repeated while opening the envelope and pulling out the papers from it.

In just a single glance of the content, his eyes suddenly dilated and his mouth slightly opened. A shocked expression slowly formed on his face.

"Young boss--- this... this is very detailed! Wow! You even make some descriptions on the side of your drawing! Ehh?! there are three designs? For a short time, you managed to make this?! Young boss, you must be kidding! Even us cannot do it in such a short span of time!"

"Of course, Sofia is amazing! How could you compare your capabilities to her!" Jing Jing interrupted. 

"Amazing! It is amazing! Young boss, you are more capable than us! You are a genius!" Franco clapped his hands while complimenting her.

"I just researched some functions but I don't know how to code. So, I can only make these drafts. Well, look at this, the first design is for the room accommodations of the hostel," Sofia said and pointed at the particular page where only rectangles, squares, circles and, various arrows have been drawn to connect the shapes.

If it is seen by ordinary people, the content can be considered as an artwork of a child that started to learn to draw. But because there are descriptions and labels, Franco had easily imagined the app that Sofia wanted them to build. The shapes signifies the buttons and it's commands. Some other explanations were also written on the side of it.

"I hope the commands that I wrote can be discerned easily. Basically, that page will show the available rooms and the rates. The second design is for the dining services. It should display the menu and prices of our products. The bottom portion should allow them to make online reservations," Sofia continued.

"It's clear, young boss! Very clear! I can imagine the layout and the environment for this application," Franco supported.

"That's a relief. As for the last draft, it is for the user profile. This will contain all profiles of our customers, Names, birthdays, and even their bank details if they want to add such information. Make sure that this must have the highest level of encryption to protect the data,"  Sofia told them while pointing the documents simultaneously.

"Riel, come and take a look at this," Franco yelled at his companion who maintained a few meters distance away from them. When the man did not move right away, Franco glowered at him with wide eyes, a gesture that could be seen as a warning.

The man reluctantly took a few steps near them and finally looked at the designs. 

"Young boss, Riel is good in encryption. You can rest assured, we will do our best to complete this project. With your detailed design, we can start coding and follow this blueprint right away," Franco stated.

"He is good in decryption," Riel stated and gestured his hand towards Franco but his eyes were still looking at the contents of the papers. After a while, he looked up and stared at Sofia's face. "Great descriptions! We will follow the instructions that you have written here. If there are certain modifications of the design, we will inform you right away."

"No need to inform me," Sofia instantly waved her hand.

As if she still had a time to facilitate these two!? She had an upcoming tournament and her business is about to start its operation, plus her school works and responsibilities too. Even if she wants to split her body, it would not be able to oversee these two people's job!

"Just do what's best and make it simple and user-friendly. I have no proper education in the field of programing or any software-related courses, so my knowledge right now is limited. But, I trust your skills can create the app that is needed for the business," Sofia said in a sincere tone.

"We will not disappoint your trust and we will work hard to create this. Young boss, rest assured, we will dedicate our time to finish this project," Franco vowed and nudged Riel to speak.

"Yes, we will finish coding your app as soon as possible. But, there are only few of us. So, it may take time for this program to be completed.. I hope you don't forget the initial agreement about our payment," Riel directly said.
