Chapter 221 - Creating Chaos

Name:Blossoming Flowers Author:Tinalynge
Sneaking around in a mansion where it was impossible to say what was where, and with no prior experience in sneaking around, Jiang Yingyue's heart was beating rapidly, and she felt her body trembling with adrenaline.

She was not sure if she would be killed on sight or if they would lock her up again, she assumed it heavily depended on who managed to catch her.

If it was the woman, she would undoubtedly die. If it was the man, she was likely to be locked up again.

Neither of these options was acceptable for her, as she snuck around in the mansion, hiding every time she encountered a guard. Fortunately, not many guards were patrolling inside the mansion, so she was quite quick at finding her way towards the cellar.

She was not sure what she would find in there, but she assumed that it would be the place where someone could store things they did not use too much, or things that were in the way in the rest of the house.

As such, she was hoping for power tools. Preferably something sharp so that she could cut the power supply in the house and sneak out amid the ensuing chaos.

While moving around the mansion, Jiang Yingyue was so nervous that she felt as if her heart was up to her throat. It was beating so rapidly that she feared it would leave her body, even her fingertips were trembling with nervousness.

As she hid for the umpteenth time, she took a deep breath to calm herself. She did not doubt that if these people caught her, the consequences would be ugly.

After the guards had passed, Jiang Yingyue continued her movement towards the cellar.

It was an inconspicuous staircase that led down to the cellar. No one was guarding it, but the patrol in this area was tighter than in the rest of the mansion.

Slipping down the stairs, Jiang Yingyue came to the cellar beneath the house. Here she found numerous power tools, but what caught her eye was something else.

It was not the power tools she had initially come for, but instead, she found explosives.

This mansion belonged to the Mu family; it was one of their main residences within this country.

As such, with them being an underground power, their cellar was filled with weapons, explosives, and other illegal items.

Jiang Yingyue glanced at the guns and so on, but quickly decided against picking one up. She had no idea how guns worked, so taking one would be useless.

Explosives, on the other hand, were quite useful. They even had a timer mechanism. Taking the explosives into her hands, a sinister smile appeared on her lips.

It seemed she had a plan. Taking the explosives, she slowly started to leave the cellar. Sneaking into an empty room, she exited through a window at the back of the house.

Here, the security was a lot lighter than at the front of the building, and to solve her problem, the back of the house was the best place to start.

Jiang Yingyue placed one of the explosives at the wall that surrounded the mansion. Then she set the timer and ran towards the east side of the wall.

Here she once more placed one of the explosives and programmed it, before she rushed back to the west side and did the same once more.

By the time the third explosive was placed, a loud boom had reverberated through the entire area, the ground had shaken, and the sounds of chaos ensued.

All the guards rushed to the back of the mansion, rushing to see what had happened.

Jiang Yingyue did not go there, but if she had, she would have seen that the wall had exploded and that thousands of big boulders would have been thrown towards the mansion itself, causing big dents and holes to appear in the walls.

Not long after, a second explosion sounded out, causing the area to tremble again, everyone was filled with horror. Were the Zhou and Han families ignoring the safety of Jiang Yingyue and creating havoc?

While everyone was puzzled, but also fearful, Jiang Yingyue was observing the gates.

She had waited for a long time to see the last guards slowly moving away from the gates, heading towards the location of the third explosion.

Seeing that the gates were unguarded, Jiang Yingyue rushed through them and began running.

She ran without knowing where she was heading to, just running further and further away from the house. The ones inside the mansion had no time to care about her, and she had no energy to see how many would chase her.

After two hours, she was exhausted. She could not move even a step further and started looking around her surroundings in an exhausted manner.

She had reached a small forest. She had been running away from the roads so as not to be caught easily again, but now she was lost and full of worry.

She did not have her cell phone on her; neither did she have any way of knowing where she was, and it was slowly turning to night.

Although Jiang Yingyue was unaware of how to survive in a forest, she knew better than to stay on the ground during night time and using the rest of her energy she slowly started to climb a tree where she sat down and relaxed.

Her body was exhausted, her mind also on the verge of a breakdown. She found a comfortable position and started relaxing.

Moments after, her eyes closed and she fell into a deep slumber, unaware of how much chaos her escape had caused, not only towards the Mu family but also to Han Qingshan and Zhou Yan.
