Chapter 163 - Road Of No Return

Han Qingshan looked at the male artist who was standing in front of him and nodded his head as he gave a toast.

The artist felt rather flattered to see Han Qingshan greeting him, and a smile surfaced on his face as he drank his wine and got ready to leave.

Unfortunately, Yu Xiulan did not agree with his idea about leaving. She was here for the sake of embarrassing Jiang Yingyue, and she was not going to leave before she had succeeded.

She walked towards them and was also about to make a toast to Han Qingshan when she suddenly "stumbled" and dropped her wine glass on the floor, shattering it into thousands of small shards and the wine flowed as a result.

"Oh no!" she exclaimed as she looked stunned, "I am so sorry, are you okay?" she asked as she moved towards Jiang Yingyue, who had been standing in front of her.

Some of the wine had splashed on her legs, but fortunately, neither the dress nor the shoes had been dirtied.

Narrowing her eyes, Jiang Yingyue was curious to see what her plans were, and she quickly regained her friendly expression as she shook her head. "Celebrity Yu need not worry about me," she said with a voice so gentle that everyone saw her as an angel.

Seeing her behaving so innocently, Yu Xiulan was furious, but she could not do anything, and thus, she just smiled back at her.

"Let me help you wipe the wine off your legs," she said, but Han Qingshan stopped her before she even had the chance to get closer to his girlfriend.

"Don't worry about it," he said. His voice was somewhat dangerous, and it was clear that he was displeased with Yu Xiulan.

Zhou Yan, who was standing on the sidelines, remembered the conversation between himself and Yu Xiulan at the bar. He remembered that she had asked for his help to cheat Han Qingshan, and he also became more alert about her.

If she was chasing Han Qingshan, then she was going to cause problems for Jiang Yingyue.

Han Qingshan called a waiter, and soon after he arrived with some wet tissues. Bending down, Han Qingshan quickly wiped the wine of her feet, and during this time, other waiters had appeared to clean the floor.

"Miss Gou, the auction is about to begin, we better get going," Zhou Yan said to his female companion, who quickly glanced at Jiang Yingyue before she flashed a smile at Zhou Yan, nodded her head, and followed him into the auction venue.

Han Qingshan glanced at the woman whom Zhou Yan was walking with, and his eyes narrowed dangerously.

He had not thought Zhou Yan would show up today due to one needing a female companion, but now it seemed that he had brought Miss Gou with him, and this woman was someone that Han Qingshan had a faint memory of.

Miss Gou was Gou Chen's daughter. Although Gou Chen was not considered a noble, he was a very crafty business tycoon, and many were looking at him favorably.

He had built an empire on his own, and his might was in no way inferior to the noble families; all he lacked was a history to his name.

To see Zhou Yan together with Miss Gou made Han Qingshan slightly alert. She could not have come here without her father's permission, but she had come with the biggest shareholder in Starry Sky, not with someone from Imperial World, where he himself was a shareholder.

Zhou Yan was aware of the glance that Han Qingshan gave him, but he did not care. Right now, he was not caring at all about what clues he was leaving for Han Qingshan. Why did she admit that they were girlfriend and boyfriend?

Han Qingshan saw that Zhou Yan entered the venue and breathed a sigh of relief.

"Miss Yu, Mr. San, we will also have to enter now," Han Qingshan said to Yu Xiulan and her male partner, not at all caring about Yu Xiulan's ugly expression.

"I know you want to be with Young Master Shan, but he is clearly not looking at you. Do not make things awkward or challenge his bottom line.

"I don't know what you have in mind, but it is definitely not a good idea to start looking as if you want to rip his female companion to shreds. I have never seen Han Qingshan this protective of anyone before; he clearly has a heart for this woman.

"I do not want you to walk down a road of no return. You will be harmed greatly.. You know as well as I do that Young Master Shan is not to be taken lightly."
