Chapter 136 - Telling On Them

Name:Blossoming Flowers Author:Tinalynge
The housekeeper was shocked when he saw her brilliant smile. But instead of feeling appeased, he felt a shiver run down his spine, and he suddenly broke into a cold sweat.

"Let me take you to see the Madam," he said after thinking about the best way to solve the issue, but he could not come up with any solution. They had indeed been in the wrong, but Madam Han could not fire all her maids and butlers just because of this one mistake. That was the only assurance he felt.

He led Jiang Yingyue to the atelier, knocked on the door, and announced her arrival.

The moment Yan Meilin heard that Jiang Yingyue had arrived, she rushed over, ripped the door open, and looked at the young woman who was standing in front of her.

Her eyes shone with excitement. Jiang Yingyue had the ideal body. Her curvaceous figure was like that of a seductress, but her face resembled a fairy who had descended to the mundane world.

She seemed so otherworldly as she stood in front of Yan Meilin, and the older woman could only smile as she looked at her. However, as her eyes landed on her feet, she frowned.

"You are bleeding," she pointed out, and Jiang Yingyue sent a sweet smile to her. "Yes," she said, pausing slightly, causing the housekeeper to feel incredibly uncomfortable.

"Your maids and butlers were very busy and did not have the time to invite me inside." Jiang Yingyue said casually, as if she were making small talk about the weather. "They were so busy that I was left outside for more than ten minutes, and my feet are not used to stilettos, so they have been injured in the process."

Jiang Yingyue could have decided to suck it up and say nothing. She could also have decided to remain silent and dealt with them herself, but she felt they were too insignificant for her to do that. It was enough that Yan Meilin dealt with them, especially since they were her people. She was not willing to overreach and teach the Han family's servants a lesson if it could cause some friction between herself and their family.

Hearing the words that left Jiang Yingyue's mouth, the housekeeper could not help but glance at Yan Meilin's face, and he instantly knew that it was over.

He had never expected that this woman would be so important to the Han family. He had thought that Yan Meilin was only excited about her, and felt that she was novel because Han Qingshan had never dated anyone before. But he could see the genuine fury in her expression, something that did not bode well for the maids and butlers in question.

"Come in dear." Yan Meilin reached out and supported Jiang Yingyue to a chair where Jiang Yingyue leaned down and took off her stilettos. They had been digging into her ankle, and the white ribbon that held the shoe in place had turned crimson from the blood.

As she looked at the wound, she noticed it was in no way serious. However, the shoes were ruined. They had been white originally, and now the blood had seeped into the fabric, dyeing it red. She could not help but feel some regret because of this; she had really liked the shoes.

Yan Meilin felt upset knowing what Jiang Yingyue had gone through. It was apparent that the girl was already slightly worried if she was good enough for Han Qingshan, and now this happened. Would it not just frighten her away?

This was something Yan Meilin could never accept. "Don't just stand there old Li! Fetch the first aid kit! Can you not see that your sloppiness has caused my dearest Yingyue to be wounded?"

The housekeeper quickly bowed and went to fetch the first aid kit. He dared not delay as he saw how Yan Meilin had seemed furious when she looked at him, and he was wondering what he should do to bridge the gap that had appeared between the madam and himself.

"Dearest Yingyue, don't you worry," Yan Meilin was incredibly uncomfortable, "I will deal with the servants, don't you worry about their behavior, it is not commendable."

Jiang Yingyue nodded her head. A smile flitted across her pale face. She knew that Yan Meilin was slightly eccentric, and Jiang Yingyue had guessed that she hated when someone was scheming against her.

This was also why she had taken the risk of complaining. It was a risk of offending Yan Meilin, but after having met her a few times, Jiang Yingyue had a good impression and understanding of her personality.

Not long after, the housekeeper appeared again, this time with a first aid kit in his hands.

He seemed somewhat sheepish as he saw how Yan Meilin looked in the bag. She was not sure what to do. Should she bandage the feet? Should she use band aid on them?

The cut was just too big for the bandaid, but did it not seem over the top to bandage it?

After thinking it through, she took out medical dressing and some gauze bandages.

"I can do it myself," Jiang Yingyue said with a smile on her face. "I am very experienced in bandaging things," she said bitterly. Yan Meilin was stunned for a moment, but then she started laughing.

"Right you are," she agreed after laughing for a short while. "Here you go. Make sure to wrap it properly."

Nodding her head, Jiang Yingyue took the medical dressing and placed it on the wound before wrapping it up neatly with experienced hands.
