Hey, this is a really long chapter (like 3 times bigger than a normal chapter) so yay. Also chapters 1 through 6 have been re-written!

Wisp Pov.

The night sky was pretty nice in this time and place, thinking back of my old life the stars weren't visible at some places although we had found ways to actively rid our world of pollution and all of that we still couldn't see this every night, it was a beautiful sight.

One might wonder why am I currently awake in the middle of the night, well it's that time of the month.

Every month at night, I will receive a hell's buŧŧerfly with news of Soi Fon. How are things going and all of that, so far things have been going great except work has been quite hectic lately. I heard the gentle flapping of its wings before it entered my field of view and landed on my hand, intent and words appeared in my head as the buŧŧerfly relayed the message sent by Soi Fon. I smiled knowing she was doing fine and sent a back the buŧŧerfly with a message of my own.

I was at the front of the village waiting for everyone to wake when the old man came into my field of vision, "Ah, finally you woke up."

The old man grunted in acknowledgement "Since when were you awake?" He asked.

I chuckled but didn't answer simply walking in front of him as he followed me, we arrived to the dead grounds that separated the village and the forest. The field looked pretty normal to the untrained eye but for the old man he was able to notice the traps and where they were placed. He laughed for a couple of seconds before roughly patting me in the back, "Well then, I didn't take you for the type to install traps everywhere!"

"Mh, I had to think of something and here we are." I replied, "You should wake up the rest of the village and familiarise yourselves with the field." I finished while walking towards the forest. "Where are you going now?" Questioned the old man

I still didn't answer and dissapeared into the forest in the direction of the Cathedral.

____________

An hour later

It's been a long time since I've felt uneasy, I could hear the sound of fighting coming from the village but I didn't know how things were going, I'll just have to trust them, I guess. Another reason why I felt uneasy was because I was going to confront a lot if people and wraiths of different kind, even a powerful quincy wraith.

The biggest danger was of course the corrupted quincy, their ability to absorb and use the reishi around them is an ability that went really well with War-energy, who know what would happen when such a perfect vessels presented itself?

I slowly exhaled from my nose as I approached the stone structure sticking out from the tree line, soon enough I reached it and I was not expecting it to be such a nice structure albeit it was a little broken at places. For now the coast is clear but I'm sure they will reveal themselves soon, I approached the front door but suddenly the ground rumbled and trap doors opened all around me with tens of fanatics flowing out of them.

They surrounded me and therefore blocked my path towards the door, speaking of the door, it began to open. My eyes widened and I snarled in fury at those I saw, a man that looked like a dark pope and two Wraiths, one of the Wraith was the Scout and the other was covered in a skin tight plating of dark metal, it also had a dusty white robe. This wraith absorbed the surrounding reishi and transformed it into War-energy, this was definitely the quincy.

The dark pope went down a couple of stairs, "Well well well, if it isn't the curator of war himself. You're approaching us, instead of running away you're actually coming after us?" He taunted.

I flinched at this "typical villain speech", people really speak like that? I shook my head to clear my thoughts and responded, "I can't beat the shit out of you without coming closer."

The pope laughed, "Ohohoho, then try as hard as you like! You will be beging us to kill you when-" I cut him off right then and there, "Did you read the "how to be a villain for dumbasses 101" book or are you really like that?" I mocked.

The pope didn't answer although the bulging vein on his forehead told me everything I needed to know on how he felt, "Just kill him!" and all hell broke loose.

The fanatics rushed me with a multitude of weapons in their hands, some were bȧrė handed as well. The first few quickly reached me and I ducked under a high kick, taking the opportunity I did a low sweep kick and followed by punching those who were in the air knocking them back into the large horde of believers.

I sidestepped a bo staff swing and punched the guy who swung it in the neck, twisting it a full 180° degrees, multiple other tried to hit me with their crude weapons and techniques but I blocked, dodged and counterattacked all of the attacks, killing most if not all of them on the first hit. I heard a whistling sound coming from my right so I looked at its direction and bȧrėly had time to dodge to the right as the arrow cut my ear slightly, glaring at the shooter, or shooters in this case, I saw multiple people dressed in the same robes as the fanatics but they had corruption enhanced weapons fused into their arms.

I growled at them but had to roll under another volley of arrows, I snatched some weapons on the ground while dodging the swings from the close ranged fighters. I aimed some weapons and threw them at the archers only getting a couple of them, suddenly a man came to me while I was fending off another pack of foolish believers and blinded me with a flashbang blocking my senses long enough for me to get clubbed in my side by a very large wraith.

I grunted while holding my ribs reflexively, I switched on energy vision and punched the ground with a 'supercharge'. The ground exploded on impact as if a stick of dynamite was set of into the ground, people were send back while a huge cloud of dust was created allowing me to kill the closest robe wearing lunatics, I felt the wraith from earlier approach me from behind and as he tried to swing its heavy club at me, I twisted around and delivered a hard blow to his ċhėst folding it around my fist like a car wrapping itself around a tree.

Reacting quickly, I put the fading body of the Wraith in front of me blocking most of the arrows giving me enough time to charge out of the smoke and towards the archers. I tried my best to dodge most of the arrows but some were able to graze me much to my disappointment, I began to slaughter the archers when I finally reached them.

Flicking my hand so that the corpse of an archer slid of my arm, which was drilled through the ċhėst of the now dead man, I turned around and glanced over the remains of the cults forces which was, to be honest, pathetic in my eyes. Multiple men and wraiths still stood in my way, 'his unholyness' having already retreated within the confines of his cathedral left only the Quincy and Scout who I was itching to destroy.

Though it felt like it shouldn't be long until we clashed.

I swiftly dodged and counterattacked the last of the men dispatching of them easily before I focused on the wraiths which blocked my path to the cathedral.

I crouched down low in a sword draw position and muttered, "Feast on their essence, Chi no akuma." Nothing happened until slowly the blood that was spilled began to flow towards me, the essence within seeped into my body while the blood of my enemies pooled at my feet. My skin rapidly changed from a pure white to a wrathfull red and horns sprouted from my forehead.

I took a stance with a backwards handle on my sword which I held behind me while I put my hand in front of me, curling my fingers to tell my enemies to come, "Come get some you weaklings!" I taunted.

A pack of five wraiths came at me, the first one threw a punch which I tried to block but its arm changed its trajectory and nailed me in the ribs making me step back quite a lot, the second was fairly easy to counter as it only had a sword which I swiftly broke through with a sword strike of my own, finishing him off with a reverse side slash to the neck, killing it. The third and fourth both tried to hit me with a spear thrust, I easily evaded the first one while the second one cut me across the ribs and inner arm, I kicked the first one in the ċhėst while I broke the fourth one's spear and cut its head off with a precise thrust.

The fifth one appeared behind me and stabbed me in the back, I grunted surprised by the unexpected attack and before I could swipe around me, the punching wraith nailed me with a right hook to the ribs making me cough the air in my lungs.

I jumped back to put distance between them and I, I growled at the puncher and glanced at the spear wraith which was, to my surprise, still alive albeit bȧrėly. I focused my senses around in some sort of sonar while grabbing a rock from the ground, the moment I felt the presence of the last Wraith I threw the rock with the force of a bullet. The rock nailed it on the shoulder exploding like a grenade and tearing most of its ċhėst off.

The punching wraith suddenly charged at me, I tried to dodge but its fist's course changed once again and hit me in the shoulder. I stepped back and frowned, I held my hand in front of me and slowly breathed in and out, the wraith eyes narrowed but charged at me once again. It threw two consecutive punches but I was able to block them with my arm, it then tried to do a spinning back punch to my head by I stepped back avoiding it by a hairs breadth. I narrowed my eyes getting the hang of it, I let it come to me once again and this time I planned on attacking as well, it threw a double palm strike which I blocked and then tried to liver punch me but I caught the arm under my arm pit.

It tried to pry itself free but I wasn't so mercifully that I let it go, I broke its arm and then delivered a swift strike to its other shoulder, dislocating it. Then I let go and roundhouse kick it to the head, decapitating it.

I breathed out the air that I was holding in the form of steam.

I slowly faced the cathedral and by extension one of the wraiths I have been tracking down since the past year. I snarled at the bastards who killed my family, or pack if you care about semantics, and approached him, it descended the stairs slowly matching my pace as we got closer and closer. Finally, I was looking down on him as he was glaring at me from below, faster than I though he would hit, he suddenly threw a clawed hand forward, missing me bȧrėly as I twisted my ċhėst to the side and linked it with an elbow to ċhėst which the wraith was able to dodge but just bȧrėly.

I was honestly surprised it could keep up with my speed and in Shikai no less.

Scout rushed me with speeds akin to Soi Fon's shunpo and jumped forwards, flipping in the air to deliver a devastating axe kick which I evaded by taking a step back, the wraith continued by punching multiple times but the crude technique made it able to be evaded albeit my clothes got ripped in certain place.

The wraith was finally able to land a small injury when he fainted a punch and kicked me in head, unfortunately it hadn't done any real damage nor had it stunned me long enough for him to retreat. I sadistically smiled while I unleashed a full strenght straight punch into the wraith, that was able to put his arm up in defence much to my surprise and sadistic joy, sending him flying back a few meters with a broken forearm. The wraith tried raising its arm but only was able to make it twitch up somewhat, the wraith snarled at me in hatred while it crouched down low its body twisting like spring, every fibber of his body tensed and burned with strain as it grunted in major effort.

I lowered my center of gravity while waiting for the clearly incoming frontal ȧssault, tensing my muscles and covering myself in a thick hierro.

For a second, nothing was heard. Everything was calm and peaceful until the wraith unleashed all the accumulated power it had accumulated, multiple cones appearing around the missile of a ghost and both the huge shockwave and sound were felt for tens of kilometres around the origin.

Scout had positioned himself like a spear, using his entire body like a bullet he pierced the air with only me as his target. I had almost no time to react as I brought my sword up in its path but it wasn't enough as he had already reached me and pierced my side, shredding through the hierro, and impaling me with its forearm. The wraith flew through air after wounding me but no without receiving a major injury himself, with the speed and force he had launched itself, I was able to cut from his right shoulder all the way doing to its right hɨps, bisecting the ghost in to clean halves.

Scout landed on the ground half dead and writhing in pain, most of his body broken.

I approached the Wraith as my wound already finished healing and grabbed the ghost by its head, I looked at it with the same cold fury I had the night they killed my pack and began squeezing the head in my grasp harder and harder. The wraith shook, fought against my grip, scratched my arm to no avail, soon the head began cracking and the Wraith roar of agony were drowned out by a sickening wet squelch and a splatter of gray matter on the ground.

I dropped the headless body and made my way towards the cathedral, flicking my hand to get rid of the blood and grim on it.

Mist blew out of my mouth as I sighed, I quickly got to the door and tried to open but after a few tries in different ways too, I concluded they were locked. "Really?" I questioned to no one in particular before taking a few steps back from the entrance. "Let's get this over with..." I kicked the door with all my might, blowing it open.

To my surprise the hinges didn't come off and were pretty sturdy, I snorted and set foot inside the devil's home.

I could feel the energy around me swirling, there was so much of it concentrated in the very air itself, so much that it almost made me nauseous. 'The less time I spend in here, the better.' I though to myself, I concentrated my senses in finding the main hall so to speak, quickly finding their current position I rushed there, I may or may not have broken a few walls to get there faster but who cares about semantics anyways?

Turning around the corner I came face to face with a metal door which I promptly kicked of its hinges, the door tumbled on the ground before crashing into a pillar making a very loud noise, I smiled smugly at the door that was blown of its hinges. (Think guts sword clang)

After making my less than refined entrance, I made my way towards the center of the room where some sort of ritual was taking place. Nobody seemed bothered by my entrance and kept pouring energy into the very unstable... ball... of... son of a!

This wasn't a ritual! They were arming a fuċkɨnġ bomb!

"You are too late curator, all of the believers have joined our god in his holy war and you shall join him soon as well!" The pope ranted on.

"Yeah..." I sighed wearily "...What keeps me from running away?" I questioned, the pope smiled proudly and the clacked his fingers erecting a barrier around the cathedral, I saw it appearing through a broken stained glass. I sighed silently, "Of course it couldn't have been that easy."

The pope turned his back to me as he looked at the giant statue of a humanoid figure wearing a smooth cyclop skull, wearing some sort of plating on his body, behind the statue was an intricate stained glass which represented many weapons coming from behind him, some were of this time and some were not while some were surely not from this world. "I will join our god in his holy war! He will welcome me in his beautiful world." The pope began to cry out of happiness as purple veins marks appeared on his body, finally with one last cry of happiness the pope turned to dust just like the rest of the fanatics. I shuddered in discomfort at what I just witnessed, shaking my head out of its thoughts I directed my attention to the bomb.

I tried to touch it but an invisible force, not even my senses could detect, striked me in the ċhėst with the force of a small truck. I passed through a few walls before I crashed outside, I coughed as I rubbed my ċhėst. Whatever had hit me, hurt a lot.

"I am so tired..." I ġrȯȧnėd with a deadpan.

I stood up again and this time, I directed my attention towards the barrier.

I gave a few knocks on it to get a feel for what I'm up against, I sighed because of the headache this place was gave me earlier. The sensory overload I got was really strong because the concentration of energy into the air made it hard to properly see anything with my energy sense, and even then, using energy sense hurt me more than it helped me in this case, so I turned it off.

Now, I activated it again because I wanted to analyse the barrier but another element became my priority and I quickly ducked to the side.

Multiple sharp projectiles collided with the barrier, breaking on it and not leaving a scratch. I glanced behind me and saw the last Wraith this place possessed, "I was wondering where you went." I said turning to look at the attacker.

"I still have a mission here, keep you from escaping or even better kill you." The wraith spoke for the first time, his voice was distorted yet human.

I grinned, "We'll see if you can hold me back!" I channelled primal energy in my body to strengthen it further and ran at him, cracking the stone ground on which I ran on. The wraith swiftly reacted and shot multiple arrows which I dodged with some more difficulties, multiple arrows grazed me and left mark and they did not heal.

Realising this I ducked inside the cathedral, I examined my wounds and say they were filled with corruption and it ate at me faster than I could heal. I side stepped to the right to dodge some corruption filled projectiles, I then grabbed a stone slab and threw it with all my might on my enemy. The slab hit the wraith and broke away part of his armor, he landed on the ground with a loud 'thud' but before I could approach him to finish him off, the corrupted Quincy got up while his armor reformed itself over his skin. I narrowed my eyes and threw another slab and this time the slab was destroyed by an arrow, I took advantage of the smoke to teleport behind him and slashed at him with my zanpakuto.

The wraith grunted and stumbled forward with a massive gash on his back, I linked my slash with a kick to the knee that made the Quincy fall to the ground. I readied my sword up high to skewer him but he quickly turned around and stabbed me in the ċhėst with a energy sword, the sword burned through me and I felt excruciating pain as the energy spread inside the wound.

I stumbled backward while holding my ċhėst, blood dripped out of my mouth as I tried to breath with a hole in one of my lungs. Worst of all, the energy was, you guessed it, War-energy which I couldn't control since it didn't belong to me, I can only control and convert ambient energy.

The wraith got up and tried to hit me with his sword once again since it appeared to be the most effective way to hurt me, I lifted my sword up and coated it with Primal Energy to stop the sword from reaching me. Our swords met as purple and red energy met and clashed with great force, I gritted my teeth and tried to push through but I was ultimately pushed back and slashed across the upper arm as I was able to mitigate the damage, I hissed in pain and threw multiple energy projectiles at the wraith who was not expecting it and got nailed multiple times on his armored body.

The wraith got blown back into the cathedral with a mighty explosion, giving me time to breathe. I clutched the hole in my ċhėst and growled, 'That's what I get for letting my guard down and being ċȯċky.' I stood straight and my face hardened, I heightened my senses to their maximum and pushed my body's limits to the maximum as I got serious.

All of the sudden, a flash of purple light came through the smoke in my direction, I readily blocked the arrow but my arm still shook because of the power behind said arrow. I quickly ducked under a kick from the wraith who had appeared behind me not even a second after he had shot his arrow, I put my hand on the ground and spun around to kick the wraith away.

The wraith dodged the kick and backpedaled. The wraith armor gaps were softly glowing with a pulsating neon purple light, it now had sharp blades along its arms which were oozing with liquid corruption. The head was the place that changed the most as the metal had fused itself with the skin and fleshy tentacles were slowly spreading towards the rest of the body, the wraith tried to speak but it only came as a hollow and raspy growl meaning he couldn't talk anymore.

I frowned at his appearance now having confirmation that no matter how corrupted you are, you can get even more corrupted. This didn't just mean he was just falling further into the darkness but it also meant he was getting more powerful and I had to stop him.

I was examinating the Quincy when, without a warning, it dissapeared from my field of view and appeared behind me which made turn but he dissapeared again and appeared behind me. This made it so that I couldn't raise my guard properly with my sword but fortunately I was able to ready a 'supercharge' that I launched at him, the hit didn't hit him but the windpressure distracted him long enough for me to land an elbow in his face. The wraith spun with the force of my hit and used the momentum to drive a punch into my ribs making me cough blood because of my previous injury, I then tried to hit him with a straight kick but the wraith blocked.

Unfortunately for the wraith, my body weighed at least two times his own so when I pushed with my whole body weight he pushed back into the ground. I tried to step on him again but the wraith rolled away every time  until the wraith jumped away and summoned his bow mid air and shot two concusive arrows at me, the first one I blocked but my guard was sent up and the second one nailed me into the gut and sent me tumbling on the ground for multiple meters until I crashed against a broken cathedral wall.

I shakily got up with a burn on my ċhėst, I breathed in rapidly to fill back my one fonctionning lung with air.

The wraith ran to me and slashed at me with his energy sword, I was able to deflect it with own sword's energy into the wall behind me. The sword's energy melted through the wall like a hot knife in buŧŧer or in this case, like acid. I punched the wraith in the head before doing a spinning back kick into his ċhėst sending shockwaves through the air, the Wraith coughed purple blood which oozed out by the holes located near his mouth, the wraith raised his head and punched at me, I side stepped it but unfortunately the blades on his arm slashed me across the ċhėst and left upper arm.

I growled and grabbed the passing arm and then the back of the Wraith's head, I violently drove his skull into the wall and ran along while ramming and dragging his head on the walls of the Cathedral, who was becoming unstable from all the destruction.

I finally arrived at the end of the wall and took the arm with my two hand and spun around multiple times before throwing him all the way through the Cathedral, the Cathedral began to sway to the side and a part of it fell to the ground and on top of my enemy. I expanded all of my senses, searching for sign of his survival and as expected it was still alive and kicking,

My ears picked up on a familiar 'pop' sound followed by a grunt which, to my guess, meant he had put his shoulder back into its socket. The wraith summoned his bow and readied myself but he started to shoot into the sky. I looked at the falling arrows, who were no where near me at least not enough to hit me, they hit the ground at multiple random places and began to glow before exploding in balls of dark purple fire surrounding me.

I gasped as I held my head and deactivated my energy sense, quickly overwhelmed by the amount of information I was getting. I swiped the blood from my nose and looked around, I winced in discomfort as I couldn't see or hear much except the roaring fire. I looked around me to try and catch a glimpse of my enemy but it was no use, the already stealthy Quincy was now hidden by the dark fire and the sun was just bȧrėly beginning to shine through the horizon.

From the fire came a bolt of energy that pierce my lower back, I turned around and sent a ball of energy that way but nothing happened. I then felt pain in my arm and saw an arrow dissipating after stabbing me, I hissed in pain and become more angry, the next one came from in front of me so I was able to dodge, unfortunately a second concusive one came and hit me in the leg, breaking it, then another which I blocked with my forearm, breaking as well.

Multiple arrows were launched at me from the fire and every time I tried to dodge, counterattack and even try to use energy senses, that was a very bad idea as it gave the wraith a chance to nail me with another arrow and a strong one too boot, the more arrows struck my body the angrier I got and I would not go down until this  bastard died!

I stumbled as I bȧrėly dodged an arrow and got grazed by another one, my body was covering in seething wounds and multiple bones were broken. The corruption being pure and extremely potent inside the Quincy, I could not heal at all.

I fell to my knee as I got struck by another concusive bolt of energy, my body shook in fury, I clutched my fist until it bled and bȧrėd my teeth. My body glowed with Primal Energy, mainly my arm where all the Energy was being concentrated in, my eyes turned to slits and pure wisps of power surged from my eyes.

The moment I got struck with another arrow was the moment the dam broke, " E̸̍̇Ń̵̨̲̜Ỗ̶̖̓̐̚U̵̓G̷̢̬̿H̴̞̳̳̻͖̽̇̑̽ !" I screamed in a distorded voice.

I flared all my power and punched the ground with the strongest 'Supercharge' I have ever launched. An explosion of smoke covered the whole zone inside the barrier, the Cathedral fully collapsed and the fires were snuffed out instantly. The ground I once knelt on was now a huge crater, devoid of any life.

I checked my arm and saw it was missing, figured it would happen if I did this. I concentrated on the stump that was and forced my arm to grow back, clenching and opening my hand a few times to test it I made sure it was usable.

I looked at the barrier and saw some small cracks in it but they quickly faded away somehow.

I tsk'ed in annoyance and directed my gaze towards the bomb, that was still glowing ominously. I checked the bomb with energy sense and saw the device was close to explosion since the energy stored inside was beginning to become unstable, I growled and stumbled away from it and towards the barrier.

As I was going to the wall, some rubble moved not too far away from my position, I ġrȯȧnėd as I saw the Wraith come out from under them. Its armor was now a bloody mess of flesh and metal, it walked towards me with noticeable limp, each step it took was followed by a wet sound as if someone smacked a wet towel on the ground except it was his body that made the sound. His armor had stopped glowing and no matter how much the corrupted Quincy tried he could not form a bow, every time the bow formed in his hand it fizzled out of existence.

I growled and approached the Wraith as well ready for our final round, I ran at him and threw a left punch that the Wraith evaded but I then linked the left by a right elbow that caught the Wraith on the temple while he was dazed I kneed him in the gut which made the Wraith cough blood.

Unfortunately, he grabbed my leg and threw me up in the air like flipping a table, while in the air he jumped kicked me away. I landed with a grunt while wheezing, blood still oozing out of my multiple wounds, I rolled to the side as my foe landed on the place I once was, making spider web like scars into the ground. I grabbed his ankle and hoisted him up into the air and smashed him into the ground a few times before the Wraith kicked my arm making me let go as it cracked, he then continued with a punch in the back of my head sending me straight to the ground, the wraith jumped on me and began to pummel me into the ground.

Of course I already put my guard up to block said attack, I hastily blocked an elbow and pushed his arms aside to punch him in the torso making bits of the armor fall of his torso, a small pendant appeared from behind the armor and caught my eyes.

I rolled away from the Wraith while doing a 'force push' to launch him away.

I got up to look at the bomb which was near critical now but movement in the corner of my eye caught my attention, the wraith was standing still while glaring at me hatefully. I sneered in equal hate for it and faced the ghost, I charged sword energy into my arm as well as some reiatsu and lightning, I position my hand into a 'spear' and with a battle cry I charged at the wraith who did the same.

I ran as fast as I could, the ground rippled and broke as I took mighty steps in the direction of my foe, my body burned with effort, excitement, fury. I twisted my body to the side to dodge the first energy sword strike and thrust my hand forward impaling the Wraith through the ċhėst, the wraith let out an empty howl and looked at me in the eyes from behind his helm. He raised his sword and brought it down, almost impaling me in the guts as I twisted my body out of the way, I bȧrėd my bloody teeth in a rageful snarl and pried my hand out of his ċhėst and readied my sword in a reverse grip.

I spun around and my sword's edge met his neck without fail, cutting it clean off.

The lifeless and headless body landed onto the ground, the barrier began to shimmer and 'glitch' until it dissapeared into nothingness. My eyes widened and I teleported as far as I could into the forest, not too long after a colossal explosion destroyed the forest in a powerful ball of fire and death, I shielded myself with as much power I could spare and exerted myself to survive the explosion.

It seemed like hours had passed until the explosion ended but only a minute had past, I gasped hot air as I finally released the tension in my body and collapsed like a puppet who had its strings cut off. I fell face first into the ashen ground, the trees around me were burnt or missing and ant traces of the Cathedral was gone forever, black spots appeared in my vision and I slowly lost consciousness.

___________

A few hours later

I woke up to the feeling of water falling on my skin, pushing myself up I was able to look around and fully realised the destruction the bomb had caused. I looked at myself, my clothes were burnt and my wounds were slowly closing and for the ones who were closed already, left black scar like marks on my skin.

I sighed as I traced the one on my upper arm, I walked in the direction of the village with a gift in my hand for the Olivian kid.

__________

An hour of walking later

I soon arrived to the village, they had clearly won the battle as they were rebuilding the houses. Some people turned around to look at me and their eyes widened, they quickly got out of the way to let me pass and observed me.

Soon enough Olivian arrived, I instantly saw the changes in him, his soul was stronger and he felt more powerful, he had awakened.

But what met me wasn't the normally confident and happy Olivian but a bitter and quite angry person. The moment his eyes landed on me, he quickly made his way toward me and tried to punch me, I caught his fist and stayed silent while he glared at me.

"Where were you when we needed you!?" He screamed, I squeezed his fist and spoke up clearly so everyone heard, "You won't have to face them anymore! I destroyed their base and killed every single one of them!" Olivian's eyes shook and he went silent.

I let go of his fist as he fell on his knees, "What happened, kid? Where the old man?" I asked, kneeling down to his level.

The kid bit his lip but he told me what had happened here, turns out the old man died during the last wave while protecting some villagers and that's when Olivian had awakened to his Quincy powers.

I looked down bitterly and took Olivians hand, putting something in it. "I'm sorry I wasn't here and him sorry I couldn't save your father... but I was able to save this. I think your father would've wanted you to have it." Olivian eyes widened as he felt the small object in his hand.

He opened his hand to look at the small pendant in it and his eyes began to fill themselves with tears, I was already far when he turned around and yelled, "Thank you, Wisp! Thank you!" While bowing deeply at me, so did the rest of the village. I turned around and smiled towards them, 'All in a days work.' I thought and dissapeared into the forest once again.
