Chapter 903 Bad Sleep

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
"Ethon, I understand your feelings. I don't blame you. I thought about everything last night because I couldn't sleep at all. I did not intend to hide it from you. Yet, mom begged me to do so. I'm certain she has her reasons, dear. Mom never intended to spend the remainder of her life in the hospital," Fiona sadly said, with tears forming in her beautiful eyes.

Ethon took a deep breath as he held his sobs to himself. He looked at Fiona dotingly and said, "Nana, I'm sorry. Did I scare you yesterday?"

Fiona shook her head, then cautiously held Ethon's hand. The girl said, "No... I try not to get too irrational. That doesn't really solve any problem, dear. I figured you just needed some time to think."

Ethon clenched his right fist and tapped his head. He regretfully said, "I got too carried away..."

Fiona lowered her eyes and apologized to Ethon as well. She guiltily said, "Ethon, I was wrong too. I shouldn't have hidden it from you. Well, I never was a good liar. I hope we're alright..."

"Don't worry about it, Nana. I understand why you kept it from me. Don't worry, I won't sell you out. I will act surprised when my mom finally decides to tell me."

Fiona smiled and stared at Ethon. The girl said, "Do you really think mom would fall for your antics?"

Ethon smirked. He was reminded that Fiona was a keen observer. The man suddenly felt grateful to have that girl. Fiona only needed a few months to fully understand each member of Ethon's family.

"What do you think we should do then?"

"We talked to the doctor already. The doctor said that she would have three to six months left, with or without treatment. It doesn't really matter what we do, as long as we keep mom happy and supported, right?" Fiona spoke calmly. Fiona also had not received the news well. She initially thought that Monica needed to be confined as

ong after that, at about two o'clock in the morning, she was up again.

Back then, Fiona purposely pinched Ethon's nose to test if he was asleep. Ethon slept soundly that night, so she carefully turned him over. Fiona was a little disappointed that time.

On their second morning, Ethon immediately held Fiona in his arms as soon as he woke up. Fiona told the man that she had turned him over, and Ethon was totally confused. His sleep had been too deep. He really did not notice that Fiona left his side.

He felt bad ever since that night. From then on, no matter how tired he was, he dearly held Fiona in his sleep and never turned his back on her.

Slowly enough, Fiona's habit of tossing and turning in her sleep dissipated. In Ethon's arms, she could always fall soundly asleep.

No matter how long the night was or how sad one of them felt, they always woke up beside each other.

Fiona didn't sleep well last night either. She distinctly felt all of Ethon's worries, so she was a little depressed too. Moreover, pregnancy had made her sensitive to changes in mood. When she woke up early that morning, she felt very tired; and so did Ethon. There were dark circles around her eyes, which had made her look like a panda.
