Chapter 836 How Did You Fall In Love With Him

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
Bruce hid his intentions well behind his amiable smile. Even when he loathed Nathan, he couldn't help but admire him. He was born to an affluent family, was good-looking, hardworking, and competent. Who wouldn't want to marry such a perfect man?

Sometimes, he would go as far as to think that if he were a woman, he would also fall in love with Nathan. Nathan was a charming man.

Despite everything, Nathan also had his fair share of suffering.

Bruce was silent for a while before asking, "Mandy, how did you begin to fall in love with him?"

This question had haunted him for years. He knew he couldn't compete with Nathan; however, he couldn't help but be curious about which part of Nathan attracted Mandy.

Resting her chin on her hands, Mandy began to indulge in her thoughts. Her mind drifted to the time when she first met Nathan. He was a cold-blooded and cruel man who was fond of playing tricks on people. She initially thought that she would never fall for a man like that. Later on, after coming into contact with him several times, she came to discover that there was a tender-hearted man under the indifferent exterior. He doted on her, which made Mandy fall for him.

"Actually, when I first met him, I didn't like him at all. I thought he was a cold man, but I found out that he was quite the charmer. He helped me grow as a person and helped me find a sense of belonging in my heart. Nathan could seem indifferent on the outside, but he's very kind-hearted. We should've passed the point of infatuation long ago. That's something only young couples had. But even now, we're still enamored with one another. I miss him every second…" The smile on Mandy's face was so bright that Bruce couldn't take his eyes away from her.

The love we all seek in our lives feels like

sweet voice.

She was aware that Bruce was in fact, a very romantic person. He didn't want to settle and marry just anybody. However, he was already thirty years old, and he hadn't found anyone yet. He was still waiting for the right person to creep into his heart.

Bruce opened his mouth slightly as if he wanted to say something more. When he checked his watch, he realized that he was running late already. Sporting a gentle smile on his handsome face, he asked in a low voice, "How's Adrian?"

At the mention of Adrian, Mandy frowned and raised her eyes to look at him with a conflicted expression. She wondered how everyone in the world knew that Adrian was sick.

"How did you know about that?" Mandy asked, pouting her lips.

"Nacy told me." Nacy had spilled the beans to him. She had been bothered by the matter, and it had slipped her tongue.

Mandy kept silent for a while. After thinking for a few moments, she answered with a pained expression, "I'm bothered by the whole thing because he's been seriously ill for a while. I don't know if it's because it's getting colder, or if there's something wrong with him. He sleeps so much nowadays, and he always looks lethargic."
