Chapter 832 The Red Cheque

Next to the Sus Bank, the JS International was more or less equivalent to a big golden hill. However, this was indeed bad news that the JS International ended their cooperation with the Sus Bank even before their contract expired. Upon hearing this news, Shaun almost fainted on the spot. As he sat in his office, he stared at the cheque on his table with fierce eyes as if once he touched it, it would be the death of him. The cheque was for an amount of one billion dollars, and Shaun felt so furious that he couldn't wait to tear this piece of paper right now.

As a matter of fact, although it was JS International who cut the ties with them, JS International would not suffer financial losses in terms of long-term benefits. The one who would suffer real financial losses was Sus Bank. This sudden and unexpected change made Shaun so outraged that even his white beard bristled.

Back then, the reason why both companies even began their cooperation was because JS International had run into cash flow problems, and so they needed this cooperation to be able to stand up again. However, JS International decided to end the cooperation, and by the looks of it, it seemed like it was because they didn't need Sus Bank anymore. During these years, JS International had been operating so well that they could even set up their own bank. Moreover, the reason why Nathan had maintained a long-term relationship with the Sus Bank was also due to the long-term friendship between their two families. After having lunch with Nathan, Eve didn't feel like going back home and stayed in a hotel alone. Whenever she was in a bad mood, she always found peace in a hotel room where she could be alone with her own thoughts. At home, the servants and her stepmother were always there, so she felt very annoyed being around them.

Hearing the continuous ring of her cellphone, Eve was in a state of turmoil, but as soon as she saw the name on the screen, she knew she could not dare refuse to answer it.

With a guilty conscience, Eve bit her lower lip as she closed her eyes. As a matter of fact, she knew better than anyone else that she was deeply involved in this matter, but how could she say this straight up to her father?

Right now, Shaun still didn't know about all the wrongdoings that she had done to the Jin Family, but he had vaguely heard about something that created suspicion towards his daughter. Still, because he had his own prestige and reputation to maintain, he had to turn a blind eye to his daughter's mistakes and had pretended not to hear and know anything.

After all, before when Eve had brought any trouble to him, he always thought that what his daughter did was no big deal.

However, Shaun didn't expect that Eve would bring such huge and serious trouble to his company. Now, because of what his daughter had done, there was no way to restore the bank's cooperation with the JS International.

When JS International sent representatives to discuss the end of the cooperation this afternoon, they revealed straightforwardly that this was entirely Nathan's decision and that the rest of the company just supported him. From an outside perspective, in this termination, Sus Bank was the winner by gaining a high compensation, but in fact, it was JS International who was actually the winner in this situation. Because of this, Shaun could really not stop himself from being furious.
