Chapter 801 Memories

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
Fiona realized this fact much earlier than her peers, so she suffered a lot in her quest for love. She was scared of ending up like her parents. As a result, she was always extremely cautious even when she fell in love.

Many people say they want to be brave in love, but in the end, does anyone actually do as they say? Most people only knew how to love themselves.

She felt she was fortunate to have Ethon with her.

The scene outside the window was simply breathtaking that night. Beautiful neon lights illuminated the camphor trees that adorned both sides of the street. Fiona fell into deep thoughts as she watched the scenery fly past.

In the other seat, Ethon drove the car attentively and observed Fiona from time to time. He had been watching her for a while. He didn't want to interrupt her thoughts, despite wishing to know what was on her mind.

Fiona didn't become aware of her surroundings until the car gradually drove into the garage. She turned and smiled at him.

Ethon's mood soared when he saw her sweet smile. She totally enchanted him.

"Are you done daydreaming?" he asked while he parked the car.

She seemed to be immersed in her thoughts again as she stared at a blue light on the car's panel.

"How were you sure that I was daydreaming?" She was curious.

"Your eyes had that glazed look about them. What were you thinking of?" Ethon slowly hit the brakes and started backing the car into the garage.

"I… I was thinking about my parents." Her eyes welled up, and the tears threatened to fall.

Ethon looked into her eyes and frowned. "Why bother yourself?"

"I don't like it either, but I have to face the problem. Do you think I should go visit them?" she asked hesitantly.

Let's go. It's late. You should be in bed by now."

Fiona smiled. She had expected that he would change the subject.

A cold wind was blowing late into the autumn night.

In contrast, some parts of the city remained quite lively.

Eve casually sat at the bar. The sound of heavy metal was so loud that it almost damaged people's eardrums.

"I'll have a glass of 'bloody red enchantress.'" She smiled at the bartender charmingly. She was wearing a semi-transparent slip dress.

The bartender immediately mixed a glass and handed it to her respectfully. She smiled as she swirled the scarlet liquid.

"Eve, what are you smiling about?" Bonnie was bewildered. She looked enthralling in her own purple wig and pleated emerald-green skirt.

"What? Can't I smile? I'm in a good mood after all," Eve answered lazily. Her expression was somewhat arrogant.

Bonnie pursed her lips as she remained silent. She knew that her friend was currently in a foul mood, otherwise, Eve wouldn't have invited her to the bar.

"I wonder why I don't believe you. Tell me. Who made you angry this time?" Bonnie asked as she shrugged and cast Eve a glance.
