Chapter 793 Thank You For Thinking Highly Of Me

Nathan fell silent, frowning. A variety of complicated feelings arose in his chest.

He had made Mandy suffer for three years. Did he not do the same to her? He didn't know how to cherish things until he had lost them. Fortunately, Mandy still loved him. Otherwise, Nathan wouldn't know what to do.

"This is between us. It has nothing to do with you." Nathan hesitated for a second as he glanced at Colin indifferently.

Colin smiled gently.

"I know I'm just an outsider, but we both like her. Nathan, this time, I'm deciding to let go." The look on Colin's face was unfathomable, but one thing was for sure—he seemed sincere.

At that moment, Colin's heart was filled with nothing but love. Much like the stars in the night sky—it wasn't always visible, but it was constant, ever-remaining. All that mattered to Colin now was that he could protect Mandy silently. He just didn't want her to suffer anymore. Her safety was his first and foremost priority.

It wasn't like he and Mandy hadn't already tried it before. He did his best to treat her well, and she was grateful for him; but whatever it was that they had, it wasn't love.

Nathan narrowed his eyes, sneering. He wondered to himself what Colin was up to now. Why was he saying that he was letting her go? Was this a trick of some sort?

"Do you really think that I'm going to forgive you just because you claim that you're giving up? You framed JS International. You manipulated the press. Don't think I don't know any of that. All the goods from the factory in London were reported to the police. You were behind all that, right?" Nathan said ruthlessly.

"Well, thanks for thinking so highly of me, but I really didn't do any of that. The one who manipulated the press was Eve. I don't have the money to do that. And those diamonds from the factory in London that

because of Mandy.

"Eve is a very dangerous woman. Aren't you going to do anything?" Colin looked at Nathan sharply, his eyes filled with doubt. He believed that Nathan knew what kind of person Eve truly was.

"I know that but it's not the right time yet. JS International still has a lot of ongoing projects with the Sus Bank for now. If we abruptly end our cooperation, our stocks might plummet. Especially with the recent radiation jewelry issue, now is not the time to do anything." Nathan narrowed his eyes, frowning. What could his course of action be against Eve? Considering all the other factors, there were only two months left before the contract expired. He still needed to look out for all his employees at JS International.

He had already begun negotiations with a new bank. Only when everything had been settled could they attack the Sus Bank.

"What if Mandy misunderstands you?" Colin asked brazenly as he looked at Nathan solemnly.

Nathan shook his head and laughed awkwardly. "She won't."

However, it seemed that Colin still had his doubts. Smiling, he said, "Women can be pretty sensitive, you know. Especially the ones that love you deeply. Don't hurt Mandy or I'll take her away from you."
