Chapter 781 Transformers

Ethon walked along the corridor and turned a corner as he was headed to Adrian's ward.

The bodyguards at the doorway knew Ethon, so they let him in without a fuss.

He placed his one hand on the doorknob and used the other to knock.

Mandy was lying in bed, reading the report while Fiona lazily lay on the sofa, playing on her phone. She figured it was the nurse, so she called out, "Come in."

Ethon squinted his eyes and smiled then he pushed the door open and walked in.

Mandy raised her head and immediately met Ethon's eyes. Frowning, she coughed.

Fiona still hadn't responded until she saw a shadow towering over her. When she looked up, she had a blank look on her face.

Ethon wanted to say something but hesitated. Fiona looked tired and weary. After all, she had just broken up with Ethon, and she was pregnant. She didn't look good—it was almost as if she had aged about five years.

Ethon didn't look so good either. Even though he had dressed up, the black circles under his bloodshot eyes were rather visible.

Slightly embarrassed, Fiona put her legs down and scratched her head. In reality, she didn't need to embarrassed at all as Ethon had seen her like this many times before.

Grinning, Ethon turned around and walked towards Adrian, who happened to be staring at him, his eyes bright. He greeted, "Uncle Ethon."

"Well, that's my good boy. How's Adrian doing lately? Do you feel better now?" Ethon asked in a gentle voice.

"I'm fine. You haven't visited in a couple of days." Adrian pouted.

"I've been very busy with work these past few days. I'm so sorry that I didn't come to see you." Ethon stretched out his hand and stroked Adr

"Okay, I'll buy it for you." Ethon looked at Adrian with affection. Now that he had returned to the Yu Family, he had money again. After all, he grew up wealthy. He, too, was fond of collecting transformers toys even now.

They then went out and went to a shopping mall near the hospital. After walking just a bit, Fiona already felt tired, so they decided to go to a fancy coffee shop first.

Ethon recalled that Fiona liked mocha drinks, so he ordered two. Having been together for a long time, he already knew Fiona quite well.

The coffee shop was designed in a vintage style, and it looked quite elegant. Ethon had proceeded to order a lot of food, especially Fiona's favorites.

Since Fiona was pregnant, she couldn't stand the smell of some food. Fortunately, the food that Ethon had ordered was all light and refreshing, and Fiona didn't feel like vomiting with just the mere smell of it. Nevertheless, she still didn't eat any of it and just sat there quietly.
