"Add me to your WeChat account. Let me scan your QR code." Chauncey took the initiative and opened his WeChat.

After they had added each other as friends, Fiona thought they would have a moment of silence. To her surprise, Chauncey opened his mouth and began discussing her thesis.

"I saw you pull a long face just now. Are you revising your thesis?" Chauncey asked cheerfully.

"Yes. I've just spoken with my mentor, and he found some points for me to modify. I think my thesis has been modified too much." With her chin on her hand, Fiona looked downcast.

"Let me take a look at it. Admittedly, I don't know much about it either," Chauncey said modestly. His parents were all university professors. He had inherited the language skills of his parents. As a man with a literary background, it was easy for him to write a thesis.

"Okay." Fiona's eyes lit up, and she nodded enthusiastically. She was very grateful to Chauncey.

Chauncey's gentle face was lit up with a warm smile. Then, he stood up and walked to Fiona with a dreamy expression. However, he didn't sit down on the chair next to Fiona. Instead, he put his hands on the table and stood behind Fiona.

It was the sort of intimate gesture that a romantic partner would make. Fiona felt a little embarrassed and turned her head, struggling to say something.

To her surprise, Chauncey was completely focused on her dissertation. He held the mouse with one hand and highlighted various parts of it. "Look at this place. The terminology here isn't quite right. The core content of this phrase is more important, so you should use more substantial vocabulary. Your paper should have a topic, a demonstration, and an argument in it. The method of your paper is good, it's just not rigorous enough." As Chauncey spoke, his intelligent face held a serious, intellectual expression on it.

Fiona turned around in surprise when she heard what he said. She never expected Chauncey to say exactly the same as what her super

ead and saw Ethon standing there.

Fiona's eyes widened in shock, and she was speechless. Ethon was like a glacier in the night, standing there motionlessly.

At the sight of Ethon's long and gloomy face, a thought quicklly flashed through Fiona's mind.

Actually, she had nothing to do with Chauncey, who could be only a friend to women anyway. Fiona stood up and pushed Chauncey aside. She turned off the computer immediately and ran towards Ethon.

Ethon didn't say anything, but his eyes were filled with hostility when he glared at Chauncey.

However, Chauncey returned Ethon's glare with a mischievous smile. His smile had a hint of provocation.

Ethon rolled his eyes indifferently and turned back to the door.

He walked away so fast that Fiona had to trot to keep up with him.

The sun was shining brightly outside. Fiona followed him and said with a frown, "Wait for me, Ethon."

In his anger, Ethon didn't reply to her. He strode forward briskly as if he wanted to leave Fiona behind on purpose.

Fiona pouted and looked a little angry, but then an idea suddenly came to her head. She bent down and screamed, "Ah!"

Fiona's scream immediately caught Ethon's attention. He turned around and ran to her. Seeing that she was bending down, a tinge of pity replaced the indifference on Ethon's face.
