Chapter 595 Simon Left

"Nacy!" Simon greeted with a smile.

"What are you doing here? Did I ask you to come here?" she said coldly. All her life, she had been perceived as a strong person because of her high self-esteem. Unbeknownst to everyone, she was only doing this so that she could hide how fragile she was on the inside.

"I miss you so much," Simon confessed in a gentle voice, fixing his beautiful eyes on Nacy.

Upon hearing that, however, Nacy rolled her eyes and chuckled mockingly. "Really? That is so sweet," she said, her voice colored with bitter sarcasm. "Unfortunately for you, I do not feel the same. I don't want to see you. So please leave now because I would never go home with you." Nacy then turned her back to Simon and walked towards the bedroom to go back to sleep.

Her anger would always lead her to become incredibly unreasonable, and she hated it. She loved Simon so much that she couldn't let go of his past. If she just calmed down and agreed on a compromise with him earlier, there wouldn't be anything happening between him and Bonnie.

So deep inside, she wasn't only angry with Simon, but also with herself.

"Nacy," Nathan gently called out after quietly entering Nacy's bedroom. In the three years that Nacy and Simon had been married, it was the first time he saw them fight like this. He didn't want to see them quarreling that much, and so he was determined to do everything he could to help them make amends. "You know that Simon came here just to apologize to you. I think it would be better if you simmer down a bit and go home with him. That way, you two can talk everything out."

"He and I do not have anything to talk about," Nacy responded. "Tell him to leave right now, because if he doesn't, I will become angrier. Actually, every time I see his face, my blood begins to boil. If the baby inside me gets affected, it's going to be all his fault!" A displeased look was already starting to creep onto her face, and so she turned her back at Nathan.

Simon, who was now behind Nathan, clenched his fist. He felt helpless as he didn't know why Nacy was acting this way. Suddenly, a sneer appeared on his face, and his cold face became even more serious. "If you're going to continue having that attitude, at least tell me the reason why you're so mad at me," he said quietly.

Nacy stayed silent for a few moments as she didn't know what to say. 'If

one five minutes. Miss, if you don't want a security guard to drive you away, you'd better leave as soon as possible." Harley glanced at Eve indifferently. While he didn't know who she was exactly, he guessed that she was a woman who wanted to get money from Colin by becoming his mistress.

Eve wasn't having any of it. With a look of disdain on her face, she asked Harley, "Do you know who I am?"

"I don't know, and I don't want to know. Please leave this instant," Harley answered calmly. It became obvious that he had no time for such exchanges.

Colin, who just recovered from a serious illness, was sitting in the office, suffering from backache. Since he was not in a good mood, he decided to go out and check what the employees were doing to relieve some stress. That was when he saw Eve.

"Who are you arguing with over there, Harley?" Colin's deep and charming voice came from the office. He stood far away and glanced at Eve coldly.

Eve was someone he was acquainted with, but he never expected that she would have the courage to come to the YC Group to see him.

"Hello, Mr. Yu. I have a contract to discuss with you. I'm wondering if you are interested in it!" Eve politely answered back. After shooting a cold and piercing glare at Harley, she turned to look at Colin with her eyes filled with vigor and enthusiasm.

Harley stood in silence. Deep inside, however, he really hated Eve with all his heart, thinking that she was unbearably pretentious and obviously not a good person.

After a few moments of silence, Colin finally said, "Then come on in, Miss Su."
