Chapter 561 Hide In The Bathroom

Nathan's eye twitched at what she had to say. "Are you insane? Don't you know that, that is exactly how rumors start? No wonder reporters like to follow you. By now, they're probably well-convinced that you're brainless!"

The paparazzi had taken photos of Mandy going to the hospital to visit Colin. Nathan spent around a million to buy those photos back and block the news from ever spreading. He wasn't angry about the money that he had spent, but the fact that Mandy would go to the hospital to see him.

"What are you talking about? Do you really think everyone thinks like you? If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have divorced him in the first place!" Not being able to bear Nathan's overbearing attitude anymore, she blurted that out without thinking of the aftermath.

Although what she said was the complete truth, in Nathan's eyes, he felt as if she was masking him up as the home wrecker.

No one had ever talked to him in that manner his entire life. Mandy was thoroughly testing his patience at the moment.

"Fine, pass the blame. I can't say I'm impressed." Nathan's face darkened at her words. Yes, he may have forced Mandy to divorce Colin the moment they first met again, but now, he was also accused of wrecking her entire family. If it wasn't for the fact that Colin had taken her away from him three years ago, things wouldn't have been this complicated! He hated the bastard's guts.

Now, Colin had even managed to turn the tables to his favor by making Mandy sympathize with him.

The more he thought about it, the angrier he became. Without another word, Nathan took off his belt and then his pants.

Mandy trembled under his grip. "No...I–I have

the door," he said, knocking on the door.

Mandy was pinching a point on her hand. It was a more traditional method of treating heat stroke. It was one that her herbalist doctor had taught her.

"No." She crossed her arms.

"When I get the spare key, you'll be dead meat." Nathan pretended to walk away.

"Wait! Just give me a minute." Mandy helplessly gritted her teeth and tried strike a deal with Nathan. "Can you promise me something? If I open the door, you won't touch me."

"I can't promise you that." The most he could do was not to touch her during her period, but after that, she was fair play.

"Then I won't open the door." Mandy stood stubbornly.

"You will regret it," he warned.

Mandy slowly opened the door. Her head slowly poked out of the crack and stared at him with such an innocent face.

He didn't know whether to laugh or to cry. Did he really look that scary? Why was she so sad? Frowning, he stepped forward and held her tightly in his arms.

"Finally. Are you okay now?" He raised his eyebrows in amusement.

Mandy nodded. The anger in her heart had dissipated. "Yes."
