"If you don't believe me, then you can go ask Lillian!" Nathan drew away from her. He couldn't help but feel pissed off by her words.

For Mandy, he hadn't touched or even thought about another woman for the last three years. And now, the woman who had actually eloped behind his back was slandering his very intentions.

"I don't need to ask her," she retorted. Her mouth shaped into a thin line.

"Will you not rest till I tell you that I've slept with hundreds of women while you were gone?" he demanded.

"All I'm asking is that you tell me if you've slept with anybody for the last three years," she said tentatively. Mandy still remembered the strand of hair caught on Nathan's pajamas when she had been pregnant.

"Never. I never did," he swore, placing his hands on Mandy's shoulders. His eyes were filled with passion and devotion for the woman in front of him. "You're the only woman who has been in my mind for years!"

A mocking smile slid onto her lips. "Really now? Do you know why I went into that room three years ago?"

"Why?" Although Nathan's voice was calm, the coldness in his eyes told otherwise. A part of him hated the fact that Mandy was questioning his loyalty.

"When you were on a business trip with Jennifer, I caught her hair on your pajamas," she said slowly as if she was explaining it to a child. Honestly, Mandy didn't want to bring up the past anymore, but this was something she needed to get off her chest.

"Fine, I took her abroad that time, but we did nothing! It's impossible that you saw her hair on my pajamas," he protested. He had never slept with Jennifer. If Mandy really saw her hair on his clothes, then Jennifer must've been the mastermind behind all of this!

"Oh, stop it! I saw it with my own eyes!"

"You'd rather trust a strand of hair than me?" Nathan growled. Hearing Mandy's cold voice, he felt as if his heart was frozen in ice. It felt as if someone had just pou

Mandy praised as she admired the old paintings.

"Now, she even acts like one." Nathan chuckled. She had his grandfather wrapped around her finger. Sometimes, he thought that he might become a slave to his own wife soon enough, a trait that all of his forefathers had inherited.

"I'm practically dripping with envy," she said in shock as she gazed at the delicately carved ceiling. The castle was definitely a sight to be seen. She didn't get a good look at it when she first came here with Damian.

"Don't. If you like it, I'll build a palace for you. One even bigger than this one!" Nathan smiled, encircling his arms around her waist.

"You don't have to. I love the villa we're in now," she said honestly. Mandy wasn't a materialistic woman.

"You really think so?" He raised his eyebrows.

"Of course. By the way, Nathan, I... I didn't prepare a birthday present for grandma. What should I do? Have you prepared one?" she asked all of a sudden. She flushed in embarrassment. Nathan had told her of the event too late, so she didn't have the time to buy one.

"Of course I did." Nathan winked, patting his chest. He took Mandy's hand and whirled her across the palace hall.

"What did you get?" Mandy furrowed her eyebrows. Nathan's eyes glinted.

"I'll tell you later!"
