"Are you ordering me?" Mandy teased, hitting him lightly on the chest.

"How could I? All I want is for you to get dressed up and look beautiful. This is the first time you show up after your absence. You must look like a star." His eyes glinted.

"Don't worry. I won't embarrass you."

He smiled. "Of course, you won't. I trust you."

She leaned on his shoulder. "By the way, I heard you mention that someone's trying to discredit JS International. What's going on?" Mandy still remembered Nathan's warning to the press that someone was trying to pull the strings of his company. She was afraid that he'd be in trouble because of her.

The company had been founded by Jason when he was still in College. The J represented Jin while the S represented Shi which was Daisy's last name. After being married for so many years, they never once quarreled. Their company was the living testament of their love, and it was Nathan's longstanding legacy as well. Everyone knew that.

He waved his hand dismissively. "I've already dealt with it. Don't worry too much."

"You shouldn't hide things from me," Mandy said.

"I'm being serious. Such a trivial matter wouldn't even put a dent in JS International. I assure you of that." He gazed lovingly into her eyes.

At a spa house

Eve was watching the TV quietly as she applied her face mask. Upon hearing their words, she clenched her jaw.

"They're already back together," Bonnie snapped bitterly. "Can you believe it? Adrian's actually Mandy's son!"

"It seems that he's been hiding it so well." Eve gritted her teet

she only had light make-up on, she still looked incredibly gorgeous. "Do you like it?" she asked, twirling.

"You look beautiful," he said honestly.

Nathan quickly scooped her up in his arms before going to the closet to look for her shoes.

A pair of beige heels with encrusted diamonds caught his eye. He quickly placed her on the sofa and helped her change into the heels.

As he put it on her feet, Mandy ran a hand through his hair.

Nathan usually hated it when someone else touched his hair, but when Mandy did it, he had no complaints. In fact, he liked it when she did it.

"You have such good taste. How many women have you done this for?" she joked.

"Your imagination's running again," he teased, poking her on the nose.

"I don't believe you've never been with any other woman the past three years," Mandy finally blurted out. After all, Nathan was an adult. When they had been together, three years ago, they made love almost every night. Had he really been that loyal to her for the past three years she'd been gone?
