Mandy paled, closing her eyes. She knew that YC Group was Colin's lifeline. Although his company came second to them, she knew that he loved it with his heart and soul. She took a deep breath. "That's enough. Colin, listen to me. Nathan didn't force me to come back to him. I still love him."

Colin looked at Mandy. His face was masked with desperation as his bottom lip trembled. "You swear? You love him?" he whispered. His voice was filled with pain.

"Yes," she said firmly.

Mandy knew for a fact that she had to hurt him for him to actually leave her. She blinked back the tears as she stared at his sad eyes.

"Why? What have I done? Why would you do this?" He shook Mandy violently. His eyes were rimmed red as if he was about to cry.

Mandy avoided his eyes. She had known Colin for many years, and she had never seen him like this. She hated it, hated that she was doing this to him. However, for his own safety, she pushed him away.

Nathan pulled her by force, wrapping his arm around her waist.

"Don't touch her. Are you a man or not? She already said she doesn't love you. Don't you understand?" Nathan's face darkened.

Mandy sighed shakily, but she didn't say another word. She knew that if she said anything more or if she denied Nathan, it would only encourage Colin to fight back.

Nathan couldn't help but scrunch his face in jealousy, but he reached out to wipe the tears away. "Don't cry," he murmured. "I'll go with you."

"Will you let him go and make things easy for him from now on?" she asked, raising her head.

Nathan's mouth twitched. "That's not a thing you should care about."

"Please," she murmured, her voice trembling.

"Do you really care for him that much?" His heart ached at the thought of Mandy actually loving the man.

Mandy blinked, knowing that if she pushed the matter, he might go back on his word.

She quickly explained. "Not like that. I mean—look at him. Doesn't he look pitiful already?"

Seeing her grieving face, Nathan sighed. Although he was a hardheaded man, he still compromised. "Fine. I won't make it difficult for him in the future."
