The kiss made Nathan's heart ache. He clenched his fists, trying his best to reel his anger in. Once again, his gaze became as cold as ice.

On Sunday night, Stanley and Madeline invited Mandy over. When she arrived at their home, she found that the living room was filled with a joyous atmosphere. She blinked, wondering if she had just stopped by the wrong place.

Standing obediently on the sofa, Adrian was massaging Stanley. On the other side of the room, Fiona was busy playing with her phone. When Mandy saw that Nathan wasn't here, she breathed a sigh of relief, putting her bag on the table.

However, just as she was settling in, Nathan appeared with a basin of sweet and sour pork in his hand. He was wearing a straight suit which suited his slender figure. Seeing Mandy, Nathan smiled.

Mandy was stunned. No wonder her parents invited her over for dinner. It was a trap!

"Hello, Miss Zhou." Noticing that Mandy was there, Adrian jumped up off the sofa and rushed towards her.

"Hey, Adrian." Mandy smiled at the sight of the young boy.

"Dinner's ready. Come to the dining room," Madeline called out. She brought out the last bowl of pork chop soup from the kitchen.

At the dinner table, Stanley and Madeline paid more attention to Adrian, as if he was their grandson. Mandy, however, was left ignored.

Nathan picked up a piece of meat from the plate and placed it into her bowl. She smiled politely. "Thank you."

"Mand, when you left us three years ago, Nathan came to have dinner with us every week," Madeline pointed out, unsure if Mandy already knew about it.

"I'll make sure to come and have meals with you more often." She smiled, but

nded coldly.

She clenched her jaw. That was also true.

"Even if we aren't, I don't love you anymore." She tried to elbow his chest only to fail.

"You know what? I didn't bring the lawsuit to court because I wanted to divorce you. I brought it because I wanted you back."

Her eyes widened in disbelief. "Are you kidding me?"

Nathan could only smile back in reply. He didn't care if Mandy believed him or not.

"Wash your hands. I'll do it." He pushed her away from the sink. The detergent could be corrosive on one's hands. Given that Mandy's hands were her ultimate asset, he wouldn't let her wash the dishes.

"No, thanks." Mandy ignored him and continued.

"You aren't obedient, are you?" Nathan's hands, which were once placed on Mandy's waist, went all the way up to her breasts.

Mandy shivered instantly. Without another word, she washed her hands and stood aside. Besides, at this point, she didn't know what he was capable of.

Nathan picked up the dishtowel, washing the dishes carefully. The corners of his lips inched up into a smirk. "I always liked an obedient woman," he stated.
