Fiona was a proud girl. Even if she liked Ethon, she wouldn't intervene in their relationship now that he was with Shyla.

Due to her parents' past, she made a promise to herself that she wouldn't submit to being a mistress. This was why she was so hesitant in getting between Tina and Ethon in the first place.

At six o' clock in the evening, Nathan and Adrian waited at home for Mandy. They had been waiting so long that Adrian was already getting agitated. "Dad," he whined, blinking innocently. "Why hasn't Miss Zhou arrived yet?"

Adrian was looking forward to the piano lesson. In fact, seeing Mandy again sent a warm feeling in his chest. He didn't know why, but he wanted to be close to her.

"Don't worry, Adrian. It's probably just the traffic, plus it's rush hour. Your teacher would be here soon." Nathan ruffled his son's hair as if trying to comfort him.

"Daddy, call Miss Zhou and ask her where she is now." Adrian withdrew from his touch, crossing his arms against his chest.

"Okay." Nathan stood up and walked to the other side of the room, picking up his phone. He dialed Mandy's number.

A few rings later, she finally picked up. "Mr. Jin?"

"Adrian's waiting for you at home. Where are you?" he demanded.

Mandy jolted out of her seat almost immediately. She'd been so busy that she forgot about the piano lessons. She hastily grabbed her coat.

Seeing this, Colin raised his head. "Honey, it's time for dinner. Where are you going?"

"I have a student interested in piano lessons," she said apologetically, hanging up.

Nathan's face darkened as he frowned. However, when he turned to Adrian, his expression shifted to one belonging to a doting father.

"Miss Zhou is on her way. Wash your hands. We're going to have dinner."

Adrian quickly jumped off t

are so great!" Adrian wrapped his arms around her neck, giggling happily.

Mandy didn't know why. She hadn't liked this child when she met him for the first time. But the more she knew him, the more she felt he was cute. He was more considerate than other children who were of the same age as him. He was good at learning and had good habits. This child would surpass his father in the future.

Nathan walked Mandy out of his villa after that. The gentle moonlight shone through the ruffling leaves, reflecting on her face. She looked incredible.

"Do you remember when we made snowmen back there?" Nathan took out his phone. His screen was a picture of them making a snowman in the yard three years ago. They were so happy then.

Staring in the direction he pointed, Mandy quickly averted her gaze, turning to look at him instead. He was still handsome. In fact, time had been good to him.

"Thank you for walking me here, Mr. Jin. I'll be leaving now." She chose to ignore his words as she grabbed her car keys.

Nathan's heart twitched. Although he had expected this reply, he wasn't expecting that his heart would hurt so much upon hearing her words. Did she really hate him that much?
