"Is the woman earlier–is she Mackie?" Adrian asked in bewilderment.

"Yes, it's her," Nathan quickly answered him.

Adrian lapsed into silence. No wonder the woman looked so familiar to him. It turned out she was the pianist he greatly admired!

Colin, Mandy, and their daughter, Lisa, walked happily around the zoo.

Lisa was exhausted after walking for so long, so she asked Colin to carry her. He loved his daughter so much that he quickly complied. Lisa clapped her hands in the air as she glanced at her surroundings. Now, she could see all the animals in the zoo! She jumped up and down on Colin's shoulders.

Mandy looked back. When she didn't see Nathan and his son trailing behind her, she breathed a sigh of relief.

With Lisa sitting on his shoulders, Colin turned around to see that Mandy was a few meters behind him. He frowned. "Mandy, are you tired?" he called. "We can go and rest if you want."

He could see the disappointment clouding over Mandy's face, but he didn't bother to ask her about it.

"I'm feeling really tired. Can we go back now?" Mandy rubbed her forehead, sighing. Ever since she had suffered a miscarriage, she'd been much weaker throughout the years. Being under the sun for too long would make her feel faint, which was one of the reasons why Colin didn't usually take her out.

"Let's go home," Colin confirmed, walking over to Mandy. He placed Lisa back on the ground.

"Mom, are you tired?" Lisa asked worriedly as she kissed her mother on the cheeks. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, dear." Mandy plaster

tabbed over and over again by a dagger. In the past three years, he'd always been there with Mandy. However, in other people's eyes, he could even be considered as a homewrecker for coming in between Mandy and Nathan's relationship.

However, love can make people do stupid things. For three years, he'd waited for Mandy to change her mind about him, only to see that he was still being treated as a friend. Mandy really valued their friendship, and that would never change.

During the past three years, Colin had sacrificed many things to make Mandy happy. If Mandy was too busy, he'd throw away his own plans just to help her. That was one of the reasons why he'd sleep much later than her.

Hearing his words, Mandy frowned helplessly. She wished that she could control herself around Nathan, but the more she thought about it, the harder it became for her to help herself.

"We're over," she confirmed. Nathan's face flashed in her mind, which annoyed her to no end. She clenched her fists. She hated him with all her heart.
