Chapter 451 Don't Play Innocent

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
Mandy had never thought that she'd be pushed into the lake by Jennifer, her once cherished friend. She gritted her teeth, promising to herself that she'd get her revenge.

At the secret base of the Jin Family

Outside the window, the sun was shining brightly. From the scorching heat, summer was right around the corner. Although they were indoors, the stuffy air couldn't help but make people feel suffocated.

Nathan stepped inside the secret base, the coldness in his eyes contrasting with the warm weather.

During this time, Sharon had been locked up in the secret base.

The night Mandy was injured, he found out who did it. He remembered returning to the villa to see that the room located on the third floor had been smashed open with an ax. The messy drawer and broken shards were all proof that Mandy had found out about his past. Nathan spent the whole night burning all the objects and trinkets he had related to Sharon as if she never existed in his life.

"Nathan, you're finally here!" Sharon exclaimed. "They're all crazy! How dare they lay a finger on me!" The stench of dried and fresh blood hit his nostrils as he moved forward. As expected, Sharon was tied to the cross. Her eyes squinted when she saw his shiny leather shoes step into the scene. She hadn't seen the sun for a week now and was served spoiled dishes every day. In the beginning, she refused to eat it, but by the third day, she wolfed them all down.

"It's because I ordered them to. Don't you deserve it?" He walked towards her, his face calm and collected.

"What are you talking about?" she demanded, using every last bit of strength. If people were to see her now, they would've taken pity on her poor state.

"Don't act so innocent." He grabbed her jaw and pulled her face towards him, digging his nails into her dry skin. His calm and collected expression was gone. Instead, it was replaced with a face similar to the devil's.

"Do you mean when I pushed her into the lake?" Sharon blinked innocently. "The bitch deserved it! She stole everything from me. I'm

er. Being this silent was far too frightening.

"Would you like to travel around Europe with me, Mand?" Nathan asked softly, an affectionate smile carving into his lips.

Mandy remained silent. Ever since she was discharged from the hospital, he didn't go back to work. He'd ask his secretary to bring him all the important documents so that he could read them in front of Mandy.

She sneered in reply. During this period of time, she decided that she wasn't going to talk to him. A part of her thought that if she continued to insist on doing so, he'd finally divorce her. Besides, his love for her was only filled with deception and lies–it was as shallow as it could get!

However, it seemed that Nathan wouldn't let go of her so easily.

As he paced back and forth in his bedroom, she scrunched her face in annoyance. Without another thought, she went to her piano.

Back then, Mandy had been so eager to participate in the piano competition called "Midsummer Night's Dream" that she had actually prepared her own written score for over a month. These were even personally transcribed by Nathan.

She glanced at the piano with cold eyes. The written score for 'Seven Princess Dream' was still on top of her piano. Nathan's handwriting was so neat that it felt as if he'd just printed it out. She clutched the scores tightly, hatred sewing deep into her heart.
