Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
"I just want to tell you one thing. Never become friends with the poor. They only care about money. They won't love you for who you are but will get closer to you for your money. They don't deserve to be your friend. Sharon doesn't deserve to be your friend either. Do you understand?" Madeline said intently. "One more thing. Never mention her to me ever again. Do you get it? Well, I'm sleepy. I'm going to bed now." Madeline stood up and walked to her room. She was not ready to reveal the truth to Mandy.

Mandy wanted to stop her mother and trap her until she told her the truth. But she knew her mother very well, and she wouldn't utter a word if she didn't want to.

Mandy sat there staring at the ceiling, lost in the memories of Sharon.

She had to find out what had happened after the car accident and why the two families had turned into foes.

Mandy understood that the two families had cut all ties, but she didn't know why.

Time had passed in the blink of an eye, and it was already 9:30.

But Mandy had not returned to the No. 520, Haibin Road yet.

Nathan rested his back against his sofa and stretched his sore back. His eyes were red as he had spent the entire day checking the information about Jennifer Liu. To his utter disappointment, he couldn't find much information about her. The oldest piece of information dated back to three years ago. He couldn't find anything before that.

The Jin Family had exclusive access to the most advanced search engine in the world. One could find out every trivial detail about a person if they entered their name. But Nathan couldn't find any significant information about Jennifer. He felt that someone must have speculated his move and had tampered with the information in advance.

Nathan finally gave up as he couldn't find any information about Jennifer. He did not realize that he had been in the study for so long.

He stretched his body and walked into the master bedroom. He frowned at his empty bedroom. He quickly walked to the staircase.

"Lillian, hasn't Mandy come home yet?" he bellowed from the top floor

haron's innocence. She would never argue with him, and their relationship had been smooth without a hitch.

Nathan had been crazy about Sharon and never thought that their relationship would come to a disastrous end. They had kept their relationship a secret from Grade three until their college entrance examination. Nathan still had a record of all their conversations in QQ. He had safely kept his old phone in the room on the third floor of the villa, along with the other things that reminded him of Sharon.

Nathan had swept Sharon in his arms. He had been studying in America at that time and hardly came to City A. He would come to China–without telling his parents–just to be with Sharon.

"I can't wait for you to tell them. I will take you on a trip to Greece after you finish your entrance exam.'' Nathan had smiled at her tenderly. The bright sun had bounced off his face, making him feel warm and contented. He had been the happiest man at that moment.

"Greece? I'm sure it will cost a bomb for us to go there. We can go somewhere nearby. I don't want to go to any exotic location. Any place will become romantic if you are by my side." Sharon's eyes had been glinting with her love for Nathan. Sharon had not been aware of Nathan's identity–that he was a billionaire. Moreover, money had never mattered to her. She had loved Nathan for the kind, sweet, caring guy that he was.
