Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
"Sharon..." Nathan cried out, his voice trembling, and the sting in his heart was strangely becoming increasingly overwhelming with each passing moment.

"What did you say, Mr. Jin?" Mary asked with bewilderment. She didn't catch what Nathan had said.

"Which department does Jennifer work for? Call her to my office right away!" Nathan ordered in a stern voice as he straightened his lips in a thin line and narrowed his dark eyes. The coldness in his eyes was making them look more vicious than ever.

"Jenifer… yes, she works in the investment department now. Why? What's wrong, Mr. Jin?" Mary asked. Upon seeing Nathan's frowning face, she felt that he might not be happy with the recruit for some reason.

"Just do what I told you!" Nathan bellowed, sounding sterner than before. Mary knew that Nathan would not repeat his words for the third time.

"Yes!" Mary answered, lowering her head immediately. Marking Nathan's voice, and the strange stiffness on his face, Mary was so nervous that she made haste to turn around to leave.

After Mary left, Nathan started going through Jennifer's resume carefully. From the resume, Jennifer seemed to be the best-suited candidate among all the job-seekers. She was a violinist and graduated from Harvard University, America. She had even won accolades for being an excellent student at Harvard University for four consecutive years. She was proficient in several languages, including Chinese, Spanish, English, and Japanese. A deep frown settled on Nathan's forehead as he went through her entire resume.

At the same time, Jennifer was sitting in her office and studying the ups and downs of the stock market. She had learned about stocks and investments by observing her father since her childhood. The graphs, charts, and figures that might be boring to laypersons enticed her interest in the subject. She could spend hours studying the stock market. Perhaps it was because of her innate ability that she loved to study such things.

"Mr. Jin has asked you to go to his office, Jennifer," the manager of the investment department said to Jennifer after he received the call from Mary. He knew Mary's words were Nathan's orders, so he immediately put down his work and went up to Jennifer.

as he put his long fingers on the photo frame lying on the table and turned it over.

"It's me! How come you have my photo?" Jennifer said in a low voice as she looked at the girl in the photo frame.

"Is that you? Are you sure it's you?" Nathan asked in a stern voice.

"Yes. Of course, it's me! Mr. Jin, where did you get this photo?" Jennifer said and nodded solemnly.

"Sharon... You are Sharon!" Nathan exclaimed as he frowned and turned to Jennifer, who looked back at him in utter surprise.

"Who is Sharon, Mr. Jin?" Jennifer asked, looking bewildered as if she was hearing the name for the first time.

"You're back, Sharon. You have finally come back to me!" Nathan exclaimed aloud as he stood up and walked up to Jennifer. He held her shoulders and stared into her eyes.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Jin! I don't know any Sharon. I don't know what you are talking about," Jennifer said calmly as she took two steps backward. She frowned, but her expression remained otherwise unmoved.

"I know you are Sharon! Look at me, Sharon. I'm Nathan," Nathan said aloud as he clenched his fists.

At that moment, Jennifer stared at him in silence for a while. The air in the office seemed to have solidified. Both of them looked at each other motionlessly.

"I have no idea what you're talking about, Mr. Jin. You must have mistaken me for someone else!" Jenifer said in a mild voice. Then, all of a sudden, Jennifer clutched her head in her two hands and knelt with a splitting headache.
