Madeline put down the seafood noodles with confusion and rushed towards the washroom. Mandy was bending over the washbasin, making retching sounds. However, nothing came out.

A trace of coldness flashed across Madeline's eyes. Seeing Mandy in this condition, something awful occurred to her. She immediately stepped forward and put her hand on Mandy's shoulder.

"Mand, are you pregnant?" A deep frown marred Madeline's face. She had experienced something quite similar right before she had Mandy. The symptoms made it look like she was indeed pregnant.

Perplexed, Mandy turned her head around, only to find that there was no sign of joy on her mother's face. Instead, it was tainted with melancholy and worry.

She vividly remembered that Madeline had warned Mandy numerous times, saying that she should never get pregnant before she got married!

Mandy pressed her lips. She was confused too. Her period hadn't come even though it was supposed to come last week. 'Am I really pregnant?' she wondered.

It occurred to her that she hadn't taken contraceptives several times. Hence, she couldn't rule out the possibility of a pregnancy!

"Mom, no, I have been having stomach trouble lately. And if you remember, this is something I have had since I was a child. I'm not pregnant. My period just finished a few days ago." Mandy frowned. She wasn't sure whether she had been pregnant or not, but she had to lie in order to put a full stop to her mother's concern.

"Really? Are you telling me the truth?" Madeline stared at her with suspicion.

Mandy nodded her head firmly and said, "I swear."

"That's good. You can't get pregnant before marriage. If a woman gets pregnant before marriage, people will look down on her." Madeline put her hand on Mandy's shoulder and patted softly.

"Mom, I know."

Leaving the bathroom, Madeline took away the bowl of seafood noodles and closed the door. Mandy frowned and put her hand on her abdomen. 'Am I really pregnant?' she couldn'

her realize her decision was right.

"I thought you said you would come back tomorrow? Why didn't you let me pick you up? I would have come running!" With a frown, Nathan reached out his arm to turn off the light.

"I wanted to give you a surprise!"

"Silly girl." His thin lips curved into a smile. Slowly, he put his arms around her thin waist and took her into his arms.

Suddenly, she felt the hot breath blow on her ear, making her feel limp and numb. Before she could react, Nathan had kissed her ear. He was good at kissing, making her hot...

The man's palm touched her chest. Even though it was a harmless touch, it set off an alarm in Mandy's mind!

Although Mandy was not sure whether she was pregnant or not, a pregnant woman was not allowed to do such things. For the sake of safety, she pushed Nathan away decisively.

But Nathan was like an unsatisfied beast. He hadn't touched Mandy for several days, so he couldn't stop kissing her. The more Mandy pushed him away, the more determined he was to kiss her. He placed a firm kiss on her neck.

Nathan thought that Mandy was just playing hard to get, so his desire turned wild.

"Nathan, I'm tired," Mandy said as she rubbed her head. Sleepiness had overwhelmed her. At that moment, she felt her head would explode if she didn't get some rest.
