Chapter 369 Simon's Plan

"Mandy, I can go back to school on my own. Don't worry." Although Fiona was not aware of Nathan's plans, she couldn't help but smile at him.

Nathan pulled Mandy into his arms and patted Ethon on his shoulder before leaving. He had created an opportunity for Ethon to spend time with Fiona. Ethon was smart enough to understand that, and he smiled at Nathan gratefully.

Once Nathan and Mandy were gone, Ethon smiled at Fiona. "Let's go back to school together."

Fiona blinked at him and scratched her head in confusion. "I can't go back to school now. I need to go home and grab my schoolbag."

"No problem. I'll wait for you."

Fiona dropped her gaze to the ground and blushed. "Okay."

At No. 520, Haibin Road

Simon spent the entire day at the villa, watching South Korean TV series. He wondered why he was interested in them all of a sudden. As soon as Mandy was back from work, he followed her everywhere like a kitten, trying to flatter her.

"Mandy, help me, please. Just for once, and I won't bother you anymore. Please," Simon pleaded, giving her the puppy dog face. He was even ready to grab her feet and would not let her go until she agreed to his request.

"Oh, Simon, please understand. It's not that I don't want to help you, but you're asking me to break the hospital rules. It's not a place for you to pull off your tricks. Why don't you pick another private hospital and bribe its president with money?" Mandy waved her hand in disapproval.

Simon had come up with the idea of faking his death to win Nacy back. He knew that Nacy couldn't bear to see him dead and would admit her feelings for him. Mandy did not know whether to give in to Simon's request or not. When Mandy spoke to Nacy a couple of days ago, she couldn't make out what she was thinking. She knew that Nacy was fond of Simon, but she didn't know if it was friendship or love.

"Oh, come on, Mandy. Simon wouldn't be begging you if he were rich. He would have executed his plan by now," Nathan said, shrugging casually.

Mandy looked at Simon's desperate face and couldn't help but feel sorry for hi

Cassie playfully. "Yeah. It's not that big a deal; don't worry.''

She seemed to be fearless as she knew that Nathan would always have her back.

Mandy ushered Simon to the operating room. Simon had never been into an operating room before and was terrified of it. He peered at the surroundings and was shocked to see that it was bigger than he had expected it to be.

"The operation room looks different from what I thought," Simon said, sauntering across the room with his hands inside his pockets.

"If you are done with your little tour, go and lie on the table." Mandy shook her head, looking amused at Simon's shocked face.

Simon jumped on to the operating table like a little child, and his eyes were glinting with excitement.

Mandy returned after changing into a green surgical gown.

"Mandy, you look more beautiful in your surgical gown," Simon teased.

"Oh, cut the crap already and put these on," Mandy said, throwing a pair of surgical uniforms at Simon.

Simon was grinning happily. He crossed his fingers and prayed for his plan to work so that he could have Nacy back. Mandy grabbed her makeup pouch to fake some blood and a wound on Simon's body. Mandy was an expert at this as she had learned it during her college days. The medical students had a ritual of creating blood and wounds with makeup on the eve of Halloween, and Mandy had always been the best at it.
