Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
"Nathan, your words are vindictive at times." Nathan scurried forward, and Mandy had to trot to match up with his steps. But she was soon tired and pulled her hand away.

"Oh, really? So you are mad at me now?" Nathan stopped. His face broke into an evil smile.

Mandy shut her mouth as she was not in the mood to argue with him. She couldn't understand why she had lost her temper in the first place and felt bad about it.

"So... You are feeling sorry for the illegitimate child?" Nathan's cold voice reverberated in Mandy's ears. His eyes were filled with malice.

"Can you stop calling him that? Who in the world chooses to become an illegitimate child? You have said that his mother is no more. Don't you know that it's cruel to keep calling him like that? He has a name you know!" Mandy clenched her fists and glared at Nathan. She was seething with anger. She loved her piano teacher and couldn't stand anyone speaking ill of her. Nathan was no exception.

He stared at a furious Mandy with serene eyes. His anger was replaced by a sense of calmness.

"If you care about him so much, why don't you go back and find him?" Nathan shrugged nonchalantly.

Mandy couldn't understand the range of emotions she was experiencing. She couldn't stand the sight of Nathan's arrogant face and turned her heels to leave. Nathan was always cocky and arrogant, and he looked down upon others. She was fed up with Nathan's enigmatic emotions, where she had to rack her brain to find out what was going on in his mind.

The cobblestone path behind the teaching building was lengthy. Mandy couldn't see Colin anywhere and strutted around the garden in search of him.

But to her utter surprise, Nathan swept her up into his arms from behind and carried her effortlessly.

"Mandy, if you want Colin to live, you'd better stay away from him." Nathan had not expected Mandy to storm off, leaving him alone.

He blamed himself f

nt's. The director of the teaching department and teachers were giving their speech, one after the other. Finally, alumni who had graduated with flying colors had lined up on stage to address the crowd.

Their speech ended with a loud round of applause, commencing the event.

The first even started in half an hour. Young girls of Grade One were dancing on the stage with happy smiles plastered across their faces. Some of the men were watching them with their mouths open.

Therefore, Mandy stole a glance at Nathan. She frowned at him, staring at the stage with an expressionless face.

"Why are you looking at me? Don't worry. I'm not like those men. I'm not interested in little girls," Nathan said coldly as he continued to watch them dance.

"Oh, shut up! Tell me something, why weren't you invited to give a speech?" Mandy asked.

"They invited me, but I refused. It's boring and a mere waste of time." Nathan shrugged nonchalantly. The president had invited him personally, and Nathan was the first one on his list. But he had politely declined the offer.

"You are too cocky!" Mandy pursed her lips and stared at him with disdain.

Mandy had lost interest and paid no attention to the show. She was in a trance while she chatted with Nathan from time to time.
