Chapter 281 An Explanation Of Nathan's Resentment

Once they had taken the paper, Stanley quickly signed his name as if his life depended on it.

"Please settle your fees in the lobby." The doctor took the application from them and nodded.

Stanley quickly took out his phone and called Stacy. After explaining the events that had unfolded and the need to pay the operation fees, the latter quickly acted and made a transfer to pay for the expenses almost immediately.

"What should we do? What about my daughter?" Silvia collapsed to the ground, tears streaming down her cheeks. Stanley had just signed the operating agreement. That meant the heart now belonged to Mandy, what about Sharon? What about her daughter?

"Silvia." Madeline knelt beside her, placing a hand on her shoulders. "It's not too late to transfer her to another hospital. Maybe they have a suitable heart. If you're in need of money, then I can lend you some."

Silvia's eyes flashed, and she shoved Madeline's fingers away as if they were filled with dirt. "Borrow your money? Why didn't you say that earlier? Why don't YOU refer your daughter to another hospital? Why do you have to take Sharon's chance of living?" Silvia pointed at her, shouting furiously. Her voice echoed throughout the hospital corridors. It was a wonder that no one bothered to see what was going on.

Madeline's cheeks flushed in resentment. 'After all the things I've said, the woman tries to push me away? What a bitch!'

Obviously, her first priority would be her daughter! What lunatic would put another person first before their own family? She had done absolutely nothing wrong!
