Chapter 245 I Should Have Visited Your Family Years Ago

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
"You're awesome, Bruce! You're already the head teacher at the No. 1 High School!" Madeline said as she looked at Bruce with admiration. Bruce already had a steady mentality when he was a child, which was why she liked him very much. The Zhou family had to move, though, and Mandy was supposed to study abroad. This resulted in the disruption of communication between the Zhou and Zhao families.

"Don't mention it. I still need to work harder," Bruce said with a humble smile on his face.

"I just finished cooking. Wash your hands so we can have dinner now," Madeline said and smiled widely. She was already admiring him because of how ambitious and goal-oriented he was.

"Bruce, try some sliced squid. I remember that you liked them with brown sauce back in the day," Madeline said as she placed a couple of helpings of sliced squid in Bruce's rice bowl. The atmosphere around them during dinner was quite happy and harmonious.

"Thank you, Auntie!" said Bruce.

Madeline laughed a bit. "Speaking of which, do your parents still live at the same house?" She asked comfortably.

Back in the day, Mandy and Bruce grew up playing together. During that time, their parents made a lot of jokes about them being arranged for marriage.

As they grew up, both of them eventually forgot about their parents' jokes. For their parents, however, they still hadn't given up hope of them ending up together.

"Not anymore. We moved to Waterside Residential Community about five years ago," replied Bruce.

"Really? You live at Waterside Residential Community? It's on the opposite side of the street from us," Stanley said with a grin as he drank his wine.

"That's really great! I should invite your parents to have dinner here some time," Madeline said cheerfully.

"They would love it! This is great! I should have visited your family years ago!" Bruce said with joy and respect.

For Madeline and Stanley, Bruce had always been the perfect son-in-law. They always thought that Bruce had a respectful personality even back when he and Mandy were still children. They also though

the cable and called him.

Nathan picked up the phone within a second. Mandy heard his familiar voice over the phone. His low and deep voice was as soothing as the cello.

"Hey! I'm sorry, Nathan. I left my phone charging in my room, so I didn't see your calls," Mandy said in a soothing tone, smiling sweetly.

"Oh, it's okay! Have you taken a shower already?" Nathan asked as a smile appeared on his cold face. For him, the happiest thing in the world was talking to Mandy over the phone right now. This was because he was too tired from the jet lag after he arrived in the U.S, so they hadn't talked in a while.

"Not yet," Mandy answered quietly.

"What's up? Is something wrong?" Nathan asked curiously as he frowned. He remembered the time when they weren't dating yet. Mandy did whatever she wanted to do, including not sleeping on time.

The only thing Nathan wanted to do at this moment was to end his work and fly back to Mandy.

"Oh, we had a guest tonight. By the way, Nathan, is there anything going on between you and Justin?" Mandy asked over the phone. She was determined to tell him about the truth of Justin's attempt to kidnap her.

"Why? Is something wrong?" Nathan asked, standing by a huge French window. He looked down at the endless stream of people below. The sun shone upon him, emanating a golden light in the air and outlining his model-like figure.
