Chapter 243 I Won't Hurt My Best Friend

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
"You're right. Everyone likes money. But other things in the world are more valuable than money like friendship. I will never hurt my best friend by betraying her," Cassie said, looking determined.

"What makes you think that it will hurt your best friend? I will help her if you cooperate with me." Eve refused to take the card back and stared at Cassie with her arms crossed over her chest.

Cassie was tired of arguing with her. "I'm breaking my friend's trust in the process of helping you. I'm sorry, Miss Su. We are not on the same side."

Eve understood that Cassie had made up her mind, and there was no way to bring her back on track. She had a better "friend" now, anyway. She could execute her plans with his help. She didn't care about Cassie stepping back.

Eve sighed. "Okay, I respect your decision. You don't have to return your clothes and money. It's a reward for your favor." She smiled politely. Money never mattered to Eve. It didn't cost her much and, therefore, it wasn't a big deal for her.

Cassie was surprised at Eve's response. She never expected that Eve would react this way. Was she really a good person?

"Thank you, Miss Su. I hope that this will continue to remain our little secret. Please don't tell anyone about it." Cassie was afraid that Eve would disclose the information to Mandy out of spite.

"Don't worry, I've always wanted to be your friend. It's a shame that we can't be friends anymore." Eve smiled sincerely.

"Miss Su, with your allowance, I'll leave now." Cassie looked down. She didn't dare to look Eve in the eye. Her face flushed with embarrassment as she felt like a sinner.

Eve's smiling face turned red with anger the moment Cassie walked away.

'How dare you turn your back against me, you fucking bitch! Are you trying to be a saint by getting rid of me? I will make you regret your decision!' Eve made a promise to herself.

She had decided to expose Cassie to Mandy. An evil smi

calm herself down first before looking for other means of escape.

"I'm sorry, Miss. Zhou, I want you to come with me. Let's decide whether you are useful or not once we get there." Justin smiled politely. He didn't intend to hurt Mandy.

"I told that we can talk here. I'm not going anywhere with you," Mandy said sternly, trying to put up a brave front.

"Take her away," Justin ordered the guards as he clenched his jaw.

"Yes, sir!" The guards nodded in unison.

Panic settled in Mandy's stomach, and she instinctively squatted down. She had read on the internet that squatting down was a great defense mechanism as it would make it difficult for the assailant to drag her away.

Mandy didn't know if this method would work. She began to scream out loud, "Help...

It hurts. Let me go!" Mandy winced in pain as the man almost broke her arm. She didn't want to give up easily and tried to wriggle under his hold.

"Don't hurt her. Be careful," Justin ordered.

At that exact moment, Justin saw a tall and handsome man running towards their direction. Justin rubbed his eyes in shock, and the man was in front of him by the time he opened his eyes.

Justin and the man exchanged glances, and he was in a hurry to drag Mandy into a car. But the car was parked far away from them.
