Allen was an excellent doctor in the anesthesia department and was likely to be promoted as the director of the department. Along with the surgeon, the doctor in the anesthetic department played a vital role in the success of a surgery. The accuracy in injecting the medicine was critical to ensure a successful surgery.

"You must try this stewed chicken with Three Cups Sauce, Dr. Zhou. It is a new dish in our canteen, and it tastes good." Allen picked a piece of chicken with his chopsticks and placed it in Mandy's bowl.

"Dr. Chen, it is too bad that you don't want to share it with us. We want to try the stewed chicken with Three Cups Sauce as well. You are being unfair!" Cassie pouted in protest.

Allen smiled helplessly and shared his food with all three the women sitting next to him.

After lunch, Mandy was reading her materials in her office when her phone rang loudly.

Jamie's name was displayed on the phone screen. He was in Switzerland and had called Mandy for the first time after his arrival. They usually exchanged texts via WeChat and hardly spoke over the phone.

"Hello, my dearest director Zhou! What are you doing?" It was morning in Switzerland, and Jamie had just woken up. He was suffering from jet lag and couldn't even make a phone call at his will.

"I'm reading some materials in my office." Mandy closed the book in her hand and peered at the desk. A pile of books of varying sizes was staring at her.

Mandy blinked her tired eyes. She couldn't take another look at her messy desk, so she leaned back in her chair.

"Cas, let's have dinner together," Mandy said, bending over the nurse's desk.

"Wow! How does Director Zhou have the time to have dinner with me? Where is your President Jin?" Cassie teased, trying to suppress her laughter.

"He has gone to America."

"Oh, your husband is not here," Cassie said in mock disappointment.

"Shut up! He is not my husband yet!" Mandy chuckled and covered Cassie's mouth with her hand.

"Okay, okay!" Cassie raised her hands innocently. "Not your husband, your boyfriend, okay?" Cassie fluttered her long eyelashes as a mischievous grin swept across her face. She had missed Mandy. The past couple of days had been depressing without her as she was Cassie's only good friend at the hospital. She was glad that Mandy was back, but a part of Cassie's heart was consumed by guilt as she was helping out Eve by disclosing Mandy's personal information.

She swallowed loudly as her mind was debating whether to reveal the truth to Mandy or not. Eve's offer was too tempting for her to deny.

Mandy drove Cassie to a private restaurant near the Moonlight Bay Park.
