341 Truth and Confessions 2

CHAPTER 341 - CONFESSIONS

"Jareth, I love you."

BADUM! BADUM!

Her heart began to beat wildly in her chest after her proclamation and confession.

Yes she said it and immediately the words fell out of her mouth, Astrid felt a weight been lifted off her shoulders.

Her eyes blinked expectantly at him as her anticipation was clearly written all over her face but at the time Jareth was about to speak, her heart skipped a bit and she interrupted him.

"Astrid…"

"Wait. One more thing. I know you do not want anything between us but I just want you to..."

As she spoke, her mind went anywhere from the fear of his rejection again and she failed to notice that he had closed the distance between them.

Before she could finish speaking, Jareth leaned in and pressed his lips against hers, swallowing her remaining words as he kissed her passionately on the lips.

Astrid was left speechless and stunned at the sudden change in event. One minute she was busy speaking and the next, his lips were pressed fully against hers.

After some seconds, he stopped kissing her and pulled away, so he could stare into his favourite black orbs that only knew how to pull him in, leaving no room for argument and drown him in her forever.

"Jareth."

"Shh!"

He hushed her, not allowing her to ruin the moment as his hands travelled up her face and gently caressed her cheeks.

"Say no more, Astrid." A cute smile appeared on his lips the more he looked at her. That was it. There was no going back. No delay, no restrictions, none whatsoever.

He was tired of denying himself what he truly wanted and that was her. Her and all of her.

"I love you, Astrid. I love you so much."

Astrid blinked for the millionth time at his sudden confession. His confession was so true and so simple, yet they carried the weight of the word in them.

What were her small ears hearing now? He just confessed to her. Astrid was in denial in her mind and phew!

She felt her body temperature suddenly rise up more than what it was before.

Before she could comprehend further, he sealed his confession with another kiss. His lips and tongue kissing and tasting her soft lips, carrying and sending all the affection he felt for her.

After seconds, Astrid closed her eyes and returned his kiss with the same passion he brought her and parted her lips for his waiting tongue. His expert tongue instantly went in for the kill and effortlessly slid into her mouth as he deepened their kiss.

They kissed for some time, tongues exploring each other's mouth and intertwined with the other. Hs warm and soft ones went on matching her every need with his.

He wanted her, always did and always would. He had been lying to himself all these while and let himself hurt even though his whole being craved for her with an insatiable hunger.

But now... not anymore. He was going to let her know. She deserved it.

Minutes later, Jareth broke the kiss so they could catch their breaths.

His eyes darkened with his desire and passion, warming her heart and sending waves of heat at the same time.

Astrid gazed back at him with the same intensity and need that his portrayed. She loved this boy. The heavens knew just how much she did and the very thought of it ended up causing her heart to ache.

She lowered her head, unable to look him in the eyes. He was right all along and although they didn't control their feelings, they would have to pay the price of letting them go wild and free.

"But you… You said we couldn't be. What changed, Jareth?"

He let out a soft chuckle at what troubled her. Was that why she had been sad all of a sudden? Jareth shook his head mentally as his lips curved upwards to his cheeks into a sweet smile before speaking.

"I did like you. I did back then but I did not want to hurt you and after being with you and almost losing you… I just couldn't help it."

Wow, hearing him say those words… Astrid felt like the day could not get any better. Even if he did not kiss her, just by hearing his confession was enough to put a smile on her face for all eternity.

"You broke my walls and defence, Astrid. Something that none other lady had been able to do and I fell in love with you. I loved you but it took me time to come to terms with the truth that I did and for that, I am very sorry."

"Jareth," she started to say but his words interrupted her.

"No, love. I hurt you deeply with the way I acted. My coldness and hurtful words to you… I… I do not even know how you could love someone like me. You are soo good and so true and…. My life had been stained. I do not deserve your love."

"Don't say that, Jareth. You deserve it and more. You also have that good in you and you are caring, no matter how much you try to hide it. You have risked your life so much for me. If that is not love, then I do not know what is."

"Thank you for coming into my life, Astrid. Your innocence and your pure heart made me fall so hard for you that it felt as though I wasn't thinking rationally and when you bite those lips… Astrid, I love you. I love you, my sweet little seductress."

Her cheeks flushed a bright red at his remark and Jareth pressed his forehead against hers, his smile never leaving his face.

"I love you more," Astrid replied him. She looked into his eyes and their eyes met with a flicker of light dancing in them.

Without warning, he kissed her again briefly before pulling away. "I love you most."
