249 Not Doing A Good Job

"If it would fit?" Jareth completed for her and earned himself another embarrassed look. "Answer me. That was what you were thinking of, right?" he teased.

He would never get tired of teasing her. He always loved her sweet reactions. Only he could tease her that way. Like Snow said, she made it too easy for him.

On a second thought, she wasn't to be blamed though as she never had anyone talk to her about things like this before.

"No, that's not it. I was wondering if it wasn't painful for you to hold in." Her eyes travelled southwards to his groin and his gaze followed after hers as well.

Understanding where she was coming from he smiled. "Do not worry about him. He would go down on its own after some time."

Jareth moved his gaze to look at her face. He watched as she looked at his crotch like a new found toy or experiment and smiled. She was still innocent, no matter her daring moves just now.

"You want to touch it?" He asked again.

Astrid quickly looked at him. Until now she still had not realized she had been staring hard at his lower member and shook her head in reply.

"Hahaha…" He let out a small chuckle at her reaction and pinched her cheeks.

"Ow! What was that for?"

"A while back, you were eager to tame it but now, you look like it would eat you up."

"I only did that on…"

"Impulse," he helped her finish and let out another small chuckle. His voice voice sounded sweet and pleasant in her ears and she nodded her reply once more.

"I know, I was just kidding with you."

"What would you do then?"

"With the way you ask, if I wasn't so sure, I would have thought you wanted to do more than just stare."

"Stop talking nonsense Jareth. Let us prepare and go for the get together."

"You go. I would go for a walk or something to calm it down. I can't have everyone seeing me like this, they would think you are not doing a good job."

"I did not do anything you know. It is not my fault."

"Healing my wounds like that and putting up a daring behaviour… Astrid everything about this is screaming you are at fault."

She puffed her cheeks at him and turned her head away. She was not buying that.

'Wait! He was hard before we went outside? I did not do anything to… Oh my teasing massage, hehe… Snow, I won. I succeeded in teasing him.'

The frown and pout on her face were now completely gone. All that remained was a wide grin on her face.

'What is going through her mind right now? She looks like someone who won a huge game,' Jareth thought. 'Oh well, no time to ponder over it. I better do something fast or I won't be able to think straight and pounce on her.'

The next thing Astrid knew he fell on the bed and laid facing down to hide his arching member from her prying eyes.

He had smelt the scent of her arousal and it did nothing to calm him down, rather it only aggravated his situation as his mind went back to their heated session.

It took all the restraint he could muster to not wrap his hand over his hard-on and stroke himself to a release.

Apparently, he had gone beyond what he could take and his hold snapped. Quickly before his hand reached their destination, he got up, turned around and headed for the door.

By the time he pulled the door open, he said to her in a low voice. "Go, do not wait for me. I would be there in a few minutes."

Like that he was out the door, shutting it behind him.

~ELVEN KINGDOM~

It had been some days now and all seemed normal in the Elven kingdom, even in the magic realm. Up until now, no one except for the merfolks knew exactly where Astrid was.

King Regin gave Lyklor a due assignment to his cunning nature and had Aelfdene lead the new troops that were to set out and capture the hybrid. He already had his troops matching forward ready to find the hybrid at any cost.

Of course, Avery wanted to join the team that would chase after Astrid but Regin would have none of it.

The first time, she was lucky to have survived, this time around, he could not guarantee much as she was venturing further away from the kingdom.

If truly Astrid had gone through the mist, meaning she was stronger than what they gave her credit for, putting Avery at a big disadvantage.

Besides, after what happened, Queen Aelinor would not have it.

"Mother, I know what I am doing, let me follow them, please."

"Avery, not another word about this issue. I won't have it."

"But none of the soldiers are as skilled as my brothers and I. You cannot deny that the royal family is needed there. Besides what good would it do our name if none of us can go after her?"

Avery was not ready to give up just yet. She wanted to talk her mother into letting her go and hoped she succeeded.

King Regin who sat on his throne watched as the mother and daughter duo bartered it out. He knew both of them were stubborn, Avery inherited that all too well from her mother.

Right now he could not predict who was more stubborn out of both of them. They both had their reasons. While Aelinor was not ready to lose another child just yet to this never-ending war, Avery was not ready to let the hybrid go scot-free.

In the end, the one who had lost more won.

"My decision is final, Avery. No."
