58 No Women!

Anna came back with a smile on her face. She didn't notice the cold expression Bai Sheng had on and just walked towards him.

"Where do you want to go Bai Sheng? Should we go to City S?, I do have some people I need to visit there...." Anna said thoughtfully.

Hearing the girl's soft voice, Bai Sheng's expression softened.

"Where ever you want to go....its your choice" he said.

Anna suddenly kissed him on his lips surprising him.

"Why...."

"Did I tell you that I love you?" She said staring at face.

Bai Sheng smiled "You have been telling me that for days now..."

Anna giggled "I love you..."

Only Anna knew how much she had wanted to live like this, to be able to tell him this openly and not get rejected by him. All her life she had been lied to, she wasn't even sure if all of the love Paula showed her was real or not.

This was definitely the first time, someone loved her...truly. And this was the first time she ever felt this way before.

"Anna....when exactly did you meet Amber?" Anna didn't mind the sudden questioning as she replied immediately

"I met her 2 years ago, on the first day of training. We hit it off right away"

Bai Sheng nodded turning his head towards the door.

He watched her die that night, so how the heck was she still alive?

He would have thought he got it wrong if he didn't see that nervous expression on her face.

He had to talk to her, he had to find out what was going on.....he felt uneasy...

"Bai Sheng.....don't you know thinking too much makes you age faster?" Anna said smiling at him.

"I...I'll be right back" Bai Sheng said as he left in a hurry.

He looked for Amber and asked around, no body had seen her.

It was already late, Bai Sheng decided to give up.

"It seems you're still so good at hiding June..." He said to himself walking away in a really bad mood.

When he decided to go back to Anna, she had already fallen asleep.

He stared at her face for a while before sighing.

He had decided to give in to his feelings because he wanted to move on, because he didn't want to dwell on the past anymore but now that woman had appeared.

He thought he could be happy from now on but it seems as if, he really wasn't meant to be happy...

Bai Sheng caressed the girl's face softly, he wanted to forget everything....why did the past have to come back to hunt him?

"Anna...." he whispered "What do I do?.....I can't give you the happiness you want.....I can't seem to escape nor forgetmy past...."

Anna's eyes suddenly opened startling Bai Sheng.

"I'll help you...we'll escape it together" Anna said sleepily. Bai Sheng suddenly felt warm. She was willing to face his past with him?

He smiled and got on the bed as well, laying down in front of her.

Anna got startled and her face got red "What are you doing?....."

Bai Sheng chuckled and brought the girl closer to him "Relax Anna, I wonder where your mind is running to..." he teased.

Anna hit his chest before bring her face in it "It isn't going anywhere....." She mumbled

Inhaling his scent, Anna found herself drowsy again. She remembered his words and couldn't help but feel insecure "Bai Sheng?"

"Hmm?"

"Am I as pretty as her?.....your, your ex"

Anna asked with a hopeful expression.

Bai Sheng looked down and pressed his lips on hers

"To me, you are the prettiest"

Anna blushed "So cheesy"

Bai Sheng laughed at her cute action. He couldn't get enough of this.

They both drifted into sleep slowly. While one was.having a very sweet dream, the other was having a nightmare....reliving a time they wanted to forget.

Anna got startled when she woke up. She didn't think he would actually spend the night.

She staredat his face in a daze 'Is it possible for a man to be so handsome?'

Anna finally felt it....Jealousy!. She was beginning to hate the fact that other girls would stare at him from time to time and also fantasize about him as well.

Having that nightmare and this thought running through her head, Anna became quite angry.

"Bai Sheng" She shook his shoulders

"Hey! Bai Sheng!"

Bai Sheng opened his eyes and turned to look at her in confusion "What is it? did something happen?"

Anna glared at him and pinched his chin hard.

"Why....."

"When we get to City S, you are not allowed to go close to any woman. I don't care if she is old or very pretty. I'll rip off your face if you mess with me!"

Laughed kissing the back of her palm "Your wish is my command....I won't go close to any women"

Anna smiled satisfied....her mood was suddenly lifted.

Till Anna left the island, she didn't catch a glimpse of Amber.

Anna only got a letter from her sating she had left the island till final notice. It really did bother her to leave like that but, Angel was already so excited she couldn't let her down.

When they arrived at City S, Nathan was the first person Anna decided to visit.
