15 Walk Again!

Jason noticed the girl was hesitating and quickly said "You don't have to force yourself, tell me when you're ready"

Anna nodded and sighed, she didn't know why, even till today she didn't want to tell anyone about that incident.

Jason held one of her legs and examined it

"Hmm, which wack doctor told you that you can't walk again?"

Anna smiled, he indeed a skilled doctor. He could actually see that her legs were okay just by staring.

"Lots of them" Anna said, she really hoped that she would be able to walk again soon, it could be much easier to find her mother.

"Well, to be honest, all you needed to do was exercise your legs back to health"

Anna's jaw almost dropped "What?!, ex..exercise? "

Which means she spent three years on a wheel chair for nothing!

Clara must have know about it but still didn't tell anyone

'It must have been funny for her to watch me wallow away in self pity everytime' Anna smiled bitterly, her life was always like this

"Yes and by my calculations, I think you need about 5-6months of well..."

"I understand!" Anna nodded with an excited face, she was afraid he was going to say 3 or 4years but he didn't

"But it won't be easy so.....don't get all excited, if by chance the exercise is too hard for you, it might take longer so as to not completely damage your legs"

Anna smiled brightly "Thank you Jason"

She really was happy, she won't dare take this opportunity for granted, she won't slack off! and she was going to push herself!

"I guess I will see you tomorrow then" Jason said before standing up, Anna nodded at him.

Jason had left the room but she was still in there, she couldn't move because of excitement, she had to tell Xiao Xiao!

"What?!!!" Anna almost screamed, she couldn't believe what she was hearing

"Sorry, I thought you already knew" Chesa said looking guilty.

Anna felt drained of all her strength suddenly, all day all she had been thinking of was, getting to this place andgiving Xiao Xiao a call but now....

"Why would there be a phone ban?"

Anna couldn't help but ask, she always imagined the Duan base to be advanced and more like college not...

"Actually, it hasn't been that long since the phone ban.

There was this student who we didn't know was planted here by a spy, he made phone calls to them everyday, giving out information that shouldn't get out.

But luckily brother Bai found out just in time and we caught him!

But there are still some spies planted in base that we are still trying to fish out, so brother Bai banned any communication to the outside world. Only brother Bai, the Duan brother's and Brother Mu can use phones in base" Chesa explained trying to calm the girl down.

"Brother Mu?" Anna asked, she had been introduced to quite a few of them but she hadn't met anyone with the surnameMu.

"Ah, Brother Mu!, you haven't met him. He doesn't live in base, he only comes once every few months, we don't really know what his real identity is but, he seems very influential, he is a very good friend of Brother Bai and he is really handsome as well" Chesa said as she began to daydream.

"Oh...." Anna nodded half heartedly, she was deep in thought. She wondered why Bai Sheng didn't tell her about the phone ban.

Speaking of Bai Sheng, she still hasn't seen him since she met with Jason.

"But I'm sure we'll be able to catch the spies soon, so don't worry"

Anna sighed and nodded, it was already getting quite late anyways. After all of the events today all she wanted to do was put her head on a pillow and float away to dream land.

"Wow, you look tired. You should probably get some rest, although you won't be training with us tomorrow I guess you'll be doing some if those exercises you were talking about"

Anna nodded exhausted, she wondered if Chesa ever got tired of talking, although she had learned alot of things from her, it is just that....her mouth just never stops moving

"And also, if Jason gives you a hard time tomorrow, just mention Lilian, the guy is totally afraid of his wife"

Anna smiled at Chesa "Thank you"

Although she wasn't used to this room, she actually got on the bed quite easy, like it was designed personally for her.

"Oooh, so this is why Brother Bai asked some people to remake the bunk"

Anna was surprised, Bai Sheng really did prepare alot of things for her, she felt warm inside. He was so good to per, she really wanted to get stronger so she could be by his side and repay him.

The door to the room opened and five girls walked in, Efya was in front of them leading.

She looked around the room and as soon as her eyes spotted Anna, they turned cold.

"She is not even pretty, I don't get why Brother Bai is so nice to her and why Li Chen would yell at me for...I mean look at her, even her eyes are a weird color"

Efya sneered, at first she just wanted to annoy the new girl a bit, she didn't know that her crush would actually raise his voice and end up humiliating her in front of everyone.

She really didn't like this girl, not one bit!

"Just go to sleep Efya" Chesa said lazily, she was already expecting this attitude from her

"But sis Chesa, this girl is just so...."

"Ai! Efya, must you always make a mountain out of a mole hill?, go to sleep all of you!" Chesa's high-pitched voice rang with authority and as expected the girls that were busy waiting for a show soon went to their respective beds.

"Tsk! you think sis Chesa will be here to defend you everyday?" Efya glared at Anna for a few seconds before walking away.

She was definitely going to get her revenge!

Anna sighed, she was so exhausted and it was only her first day.

She had a feeling that things were only going to get harder. She turned off the lamp at her bedside and closed her eyes

"Goodnight sis Chesa"

"Goodnight, sleep well, dream of me, don't have nightmares, be happy, I am sur....."

"Okay, okay, goodnight! Anna chuckled, she really needed to find a lock for her mouth.
