29 Attacked On The Way Home-2

"Fu*k, is her money cursed. Every time we tell her to pay some drama surely unfolds." Marcus said, in a daze.

Alyssa rolled her eyes and went towards Dianna. She took her hand in hers and asked, "Are you alright?"

"I am fine." She then looked at her friends' concerned faces and said, seriously I am. It feels good to finally do something that you wanted to do the whole time. And above all, it feels so awesome to reject someone." Dianna said giving a small smile.

She truly seemed relieved. Well, its good to come out of an abusive relationship.

"And yes, her money is cursed. I think that too." She added and three pairs of eyes once again landed on Alyssa once again.

In Coral Bells, men having extramarital affairs, cheating on their spouses or girlfriends were very common, especially for alpha men. They marry or just use an omega as a breeding machine. If the omega is of low class, orphan, or without rich family background, they are kicked out of the house after the childbirth. If an omega is from a prominent family, they get married to the alpha. But just serve as a decoration in his house. So, from Jacob's point of view, it was reasonable and unobjectionable for him to have an affair. But it was unacceptable for Dianna to reject him.

The rest of the society had this mentality too. They never held Jacob accountable for his action.

By this time the whole school knew about Dianna's rejection. They were mocking Jacob behind his back.

"He is such a bulls**t. I bet he didn't have seen that coming." Someone in the corridor behind Jacob whispered.

"Yeah! Totally. So much for being an alpha." Somebody else said.

"Hahahaha! I bet he will go crying to his home screaming mommy." Another boy said.

"Or just finding another pu**y to...ahhhhhh

CRASH!!! THUMP!!!!!

Jacob grabbed one of the boys who were mocking him and punched him in his face.

Jacob was a famous person in school so it was obvious that he had some haters too. Even if he didn't have any hater it's the society's tendency to drag you down when you are down and vulnerable. Society really plays an important role in breaking our outer defense, slowly corroding it and enjoying the wound that is formed.

He kept punching him till he remained on the floor. That person's blood oozing out from every cervix.

He looked up and find the boy's three startled friends looking down at him. He got up from the ground and grabbed the one who said about his mommy. He grabbed his collar and smashed his head on the wall.

"Repeat what you said. Will you?" he faced the boy's head towards him and said these words. his face was gentle and there was a small smile playing on his lips but his eyes held a different story. They were red from anger and had a strong killing intent in it.

The first instinct of the boy was to run. And he decided to so. But Jacob's hold on him was so strong that he couldn't move even one inch away from him. His 'disobedience' flamed the angry fire inside Jacob's heart. He thrashed the boy on the wall continuously. The boy slumped down and stopped breathing.

Jacob's eyes again landed on the remaining boys who were mocking them. As soon as his eyes landed on them, they decided to run. Jacob decided to chase after them but heard a voice behind her back.

"Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! Is this all you got, killing and punching innocent students."

Jacob glared at the speaker.

"Hahaha. You are really so pathetic. No wonder you hang out with losers." Violet said approaching him. "And you don't even have guts to take revenge. Really pathetic." Violet continued.

"What did you say?" Jacob growled at her.

"Huh! Give this attitude to your girlfriend or should I say ex-girlfriend who rejected you in front of the whole school."

Jacob clenched his fists in anger. He girted his teeth and said. "What do you want?"

"What do I want? What would I want from a pathetic alpha who can't even harm the instigator of your shame?" Violet said mocking him.

Jacob's eyes widened in realization which soon turned into that of a predator's eyes. Sharp, cold and merciless.

Violet smirked, satisfied with the result that she wanted to achieve. She turned around and walked towards the exit, her eyes filled with maliciousness.

"Yes, its Alyssa's fault", Jacob whispered under his breath and looked towards Violet's direction but realized she was long gone.

He clenched his fists and muttered, "I will kill her. No, I will make her beg to kill her. I will make her pathetic life even more pathetic."

Unknown to the dangers she was about to face, Alyssa left school to go and meet Noah, to ask about the progress of their invention and to restock the food for him.

"How's the progress?" Alyssa asked after entering the chamber, carrying different shopping bags on both of her hands.

Noah turned towards her and approached her taking some of the bags from her. Keeping the bags over a particular place, Noah said, "No hi, or anything else. Mean much." Alyssa smiled. She always felt some of the Dianna's personality in him. 'Wish they were couples.' Alyssa thought. Her eyes sparkled at this thought. She will surely be a medium for them to know each other. Later that will upon them to how to develop their relationship.

"What happened to your hands?" Noah asked bringing Alyssa back to the present.

"Nothing much, just…. Alyssa frowned and said but was abruptly cut by Noah saying, "Violet".

"Yeah. Violet being Violet." Alyssa said.

They spend most of the hours working on their project. After several hours of working, Alyssa wiped her forehead with her sleeves and gleefully said, "Soon we will be ready to launch this machine."

"When do you plan to launch it?" Noah questioned.

"Maybe after my birthday" Alyssa answered.

"Why not on that day. It will be cool associating your work with your birthday." Noah said.

"Our work." Alyssa corrected him. "Media will be busy covering news about the Royal Ball and about the guests coming. The news of our invention will be drowned in that. And most of the people will be focusing their attention on the ball, completely ignoring our project. Prior to the launch, we have to do advertisements, attracting the viewer's attention. We have a lot of work to do."

"Wow! I never thought about that. No wonder my other projects failed to grab the attention of common people."

Alyssa smiled and continued to do her hacking and other stock market-related work, earning money, leaving Noah with the project.

Soon, the clock turned eight. It was time to leave. Alyssa packed her bag and left the castle saying goodbye to Noah.

She wanted to go to her quarter soon, so she decided to take a shortcut. The shortcut happened to be through thickets. The made her way through the thickets when she heard someone's footsteps behind her.
