Chapter 127：This Is The Best Way

When Jack and Lee Zhing return to Imperial City, they decide to announce their engagement and held a wedding in the next year.

Mu Ning can't interfere with her daughter's decision again since Lee Zhuan already make her clear that whoever his daughter choose to be with, he will accept it. Lee Zhen also didn't said anything.

Even though Mu Ning really want Su Han to be her daughter's partner, but she didn't dare to voice it out. At last, she just follow what others decided. Xin Me and Lee Han also agree with Jack being one of the Lee.

Within a blink of eyes, it's almost Christmas time.

In the dining room, Hai Rin request to Lee Zhen that she and Richard want to celebrate Christmas in Calestical City.

Fortunately Lee Zhen did not to strict with her. He let her celebrate with her family.

They take early flight on 23rd December and will be back after 25th December.

They landed at the Calestical City in dusk.

Richard halt a taxi to go to her house. He didn't bring his car and he also knew in festive season, it will be inconvenience to bring a car. It better to take public vehicle.

Ring the bell for a few times, her grandmother finally open the door.

"Nainai!" she hug her grandmother happily and kiss both of her cheek.

"Rinrin?? Why didn't you tell nainai that you will be back today?" Hai Yun already frowned her brow, she then looked at the man behind her and look around again like searching for someone.

"Nainai, this is my husband. Richard." She introduced her grandmother to his husband.

"Madam." Richard bow politely.

"Ah, come in." Hai Yun hurriedly said to both of them after realizing that they still at the outside of house.

She turned her head back and ask Hai Rin. "Where is Andy?"

Hai Rin and Richard turned silent. Hai Rin try her best to not to say anything that will make her grandmother sad. She know how her grandmother likes Andy.

And Andy also is the man who was with her everytime and everywhere she went. Of course it makes her grandmother like him more.

"Er, Nainai..Andy's now.."

"He is in vacation, madam." Richard said before Hai Rin finish her sentence.

"Oh.. I see.. Rinrin, bring your husband to your room first, then we will have dinner together. " Hai Yun smile happily and went to the kitchen.

Inside her room, Hai Rin asked him "Why did you said that Andy is in vacation?"

"I don't want to make your grandmother sad. She seem to like Andy." He lowered his head and take off his shirt.

"But.."

"It's okay.. I will find him for you. After all the talk, we can tell your family what happen okay?" he kiss her forehead before he took a shower.

Hai Rin was speechless. She was touched on how Richard willing to find him just for her.

They having dinner together. This is the first time Richard staying in her house. Even the house is not big enough, but it comfortable for them.

"Rinrin, did mama look pretty today?" Hai Yin asked her with a big smile on her face.

"Yes, mama look beautiful like always. But why are you dressing like this?" she asked her curiously.

Her mother wore a sleeveless Qipao. Her hair was beautifully done and her eyes shines like a star.

"Mama had a date today." She said with a happy voice.

Hai Rin almost choked on her juice when she heard it.

Richard quickly take his napkin and wipe his wife's lips.

He took a quick glance on her wife face.

"Mama.." Hai Rin want to said something but her grandmother already cut her sentence.

"Let her go Rinrin. Today is her Anniversaries with her late husband. She usually spend her night at the cemetery. You don't need to worry, she will be back home tomorrow." Hai Yun said made Hai Rin think a moment.

It is true, her mother will disappear every time it was 23rd of December. She thought that her mother just go and strolling around, so she usually didn't give much attention to it. And the next day when her mother return back home she will be very happy. Sometimes she even wonder what does her mother doing all night that can make her so happy.

"Okay..but be careful okay mama? Don't follow stranger. I will give you our house address. If you happen to get lost or anything just show them our address, okay?" Hai Rin said with a gentle voice.

Richard frowned a bit.

'She let her mother go out in the night alone?'

"Honey.. is it okay to let your mother go out alone in the middle of the night?" he whisper to her ears.

Hai Rin looked at him and nodded her head.

"It's okay. Somehow I think, my mother had her own guardian that I never know. She will go out strolling and she always coming back safely."

"That's right. She's a grown woman, Richard." Hai Yun supported her granddaughter's word made Richard lost his word after.

He just nodded after that.

It was midnight when Hai Rin suddenly awake from her dream.

A dream where is she saw Andy float in a dark place. He look lifeless, she had no voice to let it out. Her small hand try to pull him up but in the same time too, someone grab her waist from behind making it difficult for her to pull him. And lastly, she could only see his body vanish into a darkness. That is when she open her eyes and there is a tears flowing on her cheek.

She sit up and wipe her tears. She look at Richard's figure who still sleeping soundly beside her.

She then take out her violin from under the bed and walk outside to her lawn, sitting on the bench where she used to sit with Andy.

Put the violin on her shoulder and lean her head a bit, she played the song that her mother taught her years ago.

It was a sad music. It made her heart feel even more saddest when she remember him. Open his eyes, Richard looked at the ceiling blankly. He placed his hand on his forehead. His usual habit when he had a problem or when he's sad.

Meanwhile, somewhere in the Calestical City. Hai Yin sit at the bench in a garden that Grim built for her.

Seeing a man standing in front of her, she smile happily.

"Ang.. you came." She stood up and the man hug her tightly.

"I'm home, Yin." He said.

"How are you? Why hasn't you come and visit me in the past few month? I miss you. Today, our daughter bring us her husband. He is handsome." Hai Yin giggle.

"I'm fine honey, how about you? Did you take your medication properly?" he asked her gently and take her to sit at the bench again. Caressing her hair carefully.

Hug her shoulder, he said, "I miss you too, however, my work still not finish yet. Once I done with my work, I promise you, I will take you and our family live somewhere far away. Somewhere that you like. You used to say to me that you want to live in an island right?"

"Ehh..honey..you still remember…" she wink her eyes.

"Of course I remember. You're my wife. Let's have a good life in the future okay?"

Hai Yin nodded happily. "Uhn!"

From afar, there is a tall figure lean on her house brick wall at the outside of the lawn.

He closed his eyes when he heard the violin music she played. He clench his hand on his heart for awhile before he walk away from the house.

'No. This is the best way. Not meeting you is the best way I could do right now.'
