Chapter 49：Have You Come Here Before?

The next morning, Hai Rin help her grandmother go to the wet market buying some groceries and fresh meat. In the afternoon, they cook and made various delicious dish.

"Did you call me?" he ask.

"Yes, Andy, tomorrow I need you to accompany me to the north of this city. I would like to visit a property there. And..here, take this. I want you to study this and help me setting this up." she shove him a pendrive. Her eyes still fixed on the laptop.

"Ok." he took the pendrive and walk out from the room.

After a few moment, she took a glance at her phone. She sighing slowly. It's been four days. He hasn't call her even once.

Didn't he miss her like she did? Did he really busy until he can't find time to call her? All of the thought keep lingering in her head.

She took her phone, hesitate to call she put it back down. She close her eyes a moment before she begin to work again.

'he is not in your league Rin. Remember that!'

In dining table, they talk about life in Imperial City, the lifestyle there is quite different with the Calestical City. The population is different, in Calestical City there's a mix level between people. You can find a lot middle class people, low class people and higher class people. In Imperial City they were mostly higher class people and a few of middle class people.

All of which are sold in Imperial City at a fairly high prices and branded. Even though it's pricey, their buying power rate is quite high. Thus the living cost in Imperial City also higher than other City.

"Hm, mama, nainai, tomorrow I wil be going to the north of the city. I might be back a little late. So you two don't wait for me okay?" she said with a casual tone.

"Hah? Why are you going to the north? It's nothing there." Hai Yun already make a weird expression.

"It's regarding my work. Don't worry. I will bring Andy with me too."

"Eh? Who is Andy?" Hai Yin who is enjoying black pepper meat dish ask with a curious face. She tilt her head and blink it a few time to Hai Rin.

Seeing her mother face made her laugh a little. She patted her mother shoulder and said "Andy is my friend. My good friend."

Andy Lu who sit in front of her froze a moment. 'Good friend?' later he curled up his lips and continue his dinner.

Very early in the morning, Hai Rin wearing a white crochet jacket with a skinny jeans. Her hair tied up with half side braid and she just wearing a sneaker. Her style look like a high school girl.

While Andy wearing a dark blue suit and put on a black sunglasses. The drove his Range Rover to the north of the City. It took around four hour by taking a car.

North of the Calestical city is Qinglong town. They don't have many resident there but the town is full with the agriculture. A lot of farm, starting with flower, vegetables, livestock and also they have windmill.

The weather is quite nice for farming activity. The soil also a quite fertile than other place. She already set her mind this time. She will open up her own empire soon.

Hai Rin keep looking at the outside of the window. The scenery is beautiful. It make her feel relax seeing the green field outside.

"It's beautiful right?" he took a glance at Hai Rin who is enjoying the view.

"Mhm."

"Have you come here before?"

"No. Last time, in my middle school they have a school trip to the Qinglong town, but since I didn't pay any fees, I was staying at the school taking cram class." her voice sounded a bit sad.

"Then, let use this opportunity to treasure the Qinglong town." he patted her head.

After four hour of journey, they stop at the wooden gates. Hanging at the gate was a cardboard with a text ' for sale'.

Hai Rin check the details and address before she call the owner of the farm. After a few ring, an old man voice coming through her phone.

"Hello."

"Hi Mr See. I'm the one who call you regarding the farm that you put on sale. I'm at the gates of your farm. Can I come in?" she said with a polite voice.

"Oh.. Miss Hai Rin. Please, come come. Eh! Wait! I go there and open the gates for you."

"Okay. Thank you." she ended the call after that.

A few minute later, an old man came with a mini tractor to the gate. His clothes look shabby and a bit messy. Even his clothes does not look pleasure but his smile is so bright seeing the guest in front of the wooden gates.

He open up the lock at the gates and lead them using his mini tractor to his container office not far from the gate.

"Please come in." he said politely.

Hai Rin step inside the cabin. As expected it's quite mess with his belonging mixed up with his paper work everywhere.

She still smile politely and sit at the plastic chair in front of his table.

"I'm sorry for the mess Miss. I've been staying here for an ages. It's time for me to sell this property and start my new life in the main city." his face look happy with the thought of someone will buy his property soon.

"If possible, can I take a look around and check the surrounding area?"

"Yes yes..of course you can. Here is the maps of my property. It is 500 acres total. I used to plant some pumpkin and vegetables before. The soil is still in the good condition and suitable for planting."

"Please follow me. I show you around." he continue again.

He took out his old key truck and walk behind his cabin. Both of them just following him without any question.

They stopped at a few farm and sometimes they walk inside the farm. Checking the soil, water pump, and other facility before they going back to the cabin.

When they arrive at the cabin it's already in the afternoon, Hai Rin decide to have lunch with Andy and Mr See in the Qinglong town center. It took about 20 minutes from the farm.

At the restaurant.

Andy Lu took out an agreement letter and a few other document from his black lather bag. He already prepared all she need when she give him a pendrive yesterday.

Hai Rin took out his cheque and write down the figure. She buy that farm for one million dollar. She's quite happy with the farm condition. Even though the owner looks like a poor man, but he kept the farm in a very good condition.

She knew, the owner put all his money and energy to build the farm with all he got. But apparently he decide to live in the city and stay close to his family.

After all the deal settle, he ask her "Tell me Miss, what are you plan on doing in that farm?"

She smile before she replied. "I am going to open my own resort, flower shop and restaurant later, so I decide to have my own source for it."
