Chapter 41：You're Being Greedy Mr.Lee

Lee Mansion.

After having lunch, suddenly Hai Rin's heart feel a bit tight. Her eyes turns red, as her tears suddenly rolling down to her cheek.

She wiped her tears in a shocked. She suddenly stand up. Seeing Hai Rin weird attitude Mr. Chu ask her what had happen.

"I am sorry Mr. Chu, I'll head back to my room. I'm not feeling well right now. Please excuse me." she dash to her room without waiting for Mr. Chu reply.

Locked the door, she lean against the door. Slowly her body fall down. She curled up and crying without any reasons.

There is one time when she was a 10 year old, she lost her only best friend in that time, she keep crying for a whole month and she also skip her school a few time trying to find her best friend in the forest behind her old house. After that, another weird time when she was 15 year olds. She suddenly crying without any reason for almost two week. Her tears will fall down by itself without any sign from her body.

'Urghh... come on now, stop crying! You make my heart hurt even more.' she said inwardly.

Imperial City.

Yu Ran rush over to the room at their basement in the Mansion when he heard his son just got back from the red zone.

"Yu Lin, what happen?" he ask worriedly when see his son covered with blood outside glass the room.

"Dad." he pull her hair back using both of his hand. His face look really terrible right now.

"Jack." knowing his son couldn't even talk right now, he turn to the man behind his son.

"Sir, Miss Xu Nian got shot 3 times due to cover Yu Lin in the mission. The building was tampered with the bomb and it was blown up after we got out. The device now are being tracked down by the Alpha team." Jack stand still reporting the event that happen today.

Yu Ran turn his head to his son and hug his shoulder as he whisper to him "It's alright. I will try my best to save her life."

After saying that, Yu Ran enter the room. Not long after, a few team from the best doctor also walk inside the glass room.

Yu Lin keep tapping his finger on his knee while waiting outside. Jack could only sigh looking at Yu Lin impatient face.

After a long hour of waiting, Yu Ran come out from the room. He patted his son shoulder and he walk back to the main house.

Seeing a smile on his father face, he knew her operation was success. He grab one of the doctor hand who just walk from the room, demand an explanation.

"Mr Yu Lin, we will transfer her to one of the bedroom in the mansion. We will keep monitoring her day by day. For now, she is still under the effect of anesthetic. Once, she regained her conscious we will update to you again." hearing it, Yu Lin felt relieved.

He went upstairs to take a bath and change his cloth. After he done, he walk into the bedroom that has been prepared for Xu Nian.

On the large bed, Xu Nian body lay on it with a blood transfusion line on her left hand. Her back of the body have been shot three times. She suffered a blood loss from the wound.

He hold her hand gently and put it against his lips. He look at the girl face with a loving gaze.

"Next time… please don't put your life in danger because of me."

Lee mansion.

After having dinner, Hai Rin walk to the green house. She bring her fertilizer spray on her hand.

Open the sliding door, she walk inside the room.

She was startled a moment when she saw her mother-in-law standing in the green house.

'Is she want to beat me up? Is she still hold a grudge on me?' Hai Rin tilt her head a little while she lost in her own thought.

Hearing a sound from the door, Xin Me turn her body back. She saw Hai Rin face full with a question. She smile and approaching her.

"You plant this flower?" she ask.

Back to reality, Hai Rin nodded her head slowly.

"You like this Lilies and Hydrangea?" she nodded again.

"It's beautiful. Treasure it well." she walk pass her and close the sliding door.

"Did she planning to take a revenge on me?" she mumble and keep spraying the fertilizer on her flower.

Not long after, there is another sound of sliding door being open.

Hai Rin look at the man, her eyes grew wide. She never thought he will come down here.

"Is this your new hobby?" he ask.

"Err, yeah.."

Richard walk toward her. He still wearing his office outfit, meaning that he didn't go upstairs when he back from work.

He cupped her face and look at her eyes deeply. Hai Rin was stunt for a moment with his action.

"What are you doing here?" she ask shyly. Her face a bit blushed.

"Were you crying today?" ignoring her question he ask her when he noticed a trace of her puffy eyes.

She put his hand down from her face softly. Turn her body around and continuing to fertilize the plant.

"No. Of course not, why would I?" she replied.

"If you miss me, you just need to say it. I will coming back right away." he follow her behind.

"Nonsense. What you mean was not me, but her, right?"

He didn't reply her, instead he hug her from behind. Kissing her head and her tip of her ear.

"Hey.."

"Shh.." he cut off her word asking for her to silent a moment.

After a few minutes, he let her go. He ruffle her hair and walking out from the green house.

Dumbfounded, she just standing still and not moving an inch. "What the hell happen with everyone tonight?"

She is not in the mood to continuing her work, she also walk back to the main house.

In the bedroom, she did not see Richard anywhere except in the bathroom. 'He must be taking a shower right now.' she thought.

Hai Rin then turn on the television, take her pillow and sit on the sofa.

Not long after, Richard walk out from the dress room. Looking at the bed and then look at the woman who sit on the couch, he ask.

"Why are you sitting there? You could watch the tv on the bed right?"

"Mmm.. That is because I will sleep on the sofa later. So it's okay for me to sit here." She said with a plain voice.

"What? Why?"

"Since your girlfriend already back, it is inappropriate for us to sleep together."

"Who said you could decide that?" he frown.

"Hmm? You want to cheat on your girlfriend?"

"I don't want to cheat on my wife too. Come here." he already sat on the bed.

"You're being greedy Mr.Lee." her voice turn cold as she turn her gaze to him.

"You are my real wife, I said it before, we will sleep together and you also agreed with that."

Feeling furious with his word, Hai Rin throw her pillow toward him. She stomp her feet and climb on the bed angrily.
