TL Corner: Hi everyone! Hope you have enjoyed the series as much as I did. We are now slightly more than one-fifth through the series, but I have an unfortunate news to break.

(╥﹏╥) (╥﹏╥) (╥﹏╥)

I am recently being swarmed with various real life matters, and would no longer be able commit to a regular release schedule. If time allows, I will try to push out chapters, but that would be on irregular basis.

Alternatively, if there’s anyone out there who wishes to takeover translation work this series, feel free to do so after dropping a note or something in the comments section.

Thank you for your support and staying with the series all these while.

With a barely noticeable smile, Ming Jue leaned forward to pat the dust off the little figure’s clothes.

The plump little cub reminded him of his own daughter – both were overwhelmingly cute.

After confirming that the little boy seemed to be alright, Ming Jue gently spoke, “All good to go, be careful of your pace and path in the future.”

Before Dabao could recover from his shock, another young, tender voice came from a distance.

“Wait up, Dabao! Grandma needs time to catch up with us!”

Slightly behind the owner of the new voice was Qin Shi, gasping for breath as she chased after both kids.

Despite having only recently relocated to this new, unfamiliar environment, Dabao had wandered far ahead by himself.

Even though Su Jin had assured her that there were guards assigned to protect the kids from the sidelines, Qin Shi could not shake off her worries of the cubs potentially going missing.

Erbao frowned as he stared at Dabao.

But noticing that there was no reaction, Erbao followed Dabao’s gaze and soon became lost for words.

His eyes widened, as Erbao immediately realized the identity of the adult within view.

Slightly pursing his lips and straightening his back, Erbao firmly met the gaze of Ming Jue.

From an onlooker’s point of view, the big adult and the ‘little adult’ seemed to be engaged in a staring showdown, to compete which side had the superior disposition.

At the same time, Ming Jue was internally puzzled. Why did it felt as though he was looking at his own reflection in this child?

Finally caught up with the group, Qin Shi went straight to Dabao and poked his forehead, before turning towards the guest with a smile. “This gentlemen…”

She stiffened up and halted her words when she finally took a proper look of the opposite party.

It was glaringly obvious. She immediately recognized the guest was from his facial profile. Qin Shi subtly assessed the man’s outwardly appearance. Without a doubt, that was where Guaibao inherited her exquisite features.

Ming Jue: “……”

“Mother…”

With Guaibao in her arms, Su Jin called out to them and was surprised by the unexpected gathering at the front gate.

The male cubs shifted their attention to their mother, who came over carrying their sister, and no longer cared about the guest.

Both male cubs: “Sister!!”

As Dabao and Erbao trotted over, Guaibao hopped off her mother’s arms.

It was a highly anticipated reunion since the three of them had never been seperated since birth till this recent event. Towing hand in hand, the three siblings proceeded to occupy a corner and whispered amongst themselves.

(Sister?!)

Ming Jue jerked his head.

(Could they be her maternal cousins? They seem adorable.)

Su Jin grinned and spoke to Qin Shi.

“Let’s go in first and resume our conversation, Mom.”

Turning around to find her man still standing in his original spot, she grabbed the chance to flirt with him.

“Why are you waiting for? Come on in, or… are you afraid that I would eat you up~?”

Ming Jue silently glanced at her and followed them into the mansion without a reply.

“You three come on in as well, don’t block the entrance.”

“Yes, mom!” The three cubs replied in unison.

Ming Jue’s feet came to an abrupt half, as he stared at Su Jin in surprise.

“Mom..?”

The light in his eyes dimmed, as feelings of void began emptying everything within his heart.

(She was already married? Then last night… why?)

Noticing that his expression had made a turn for the worse, Su Jin instantly knew that his imagination had gone wild. Shaking her head, she spoke: “Dabao, Erbao, Guaibao, come over here.”

The three little cubs obediently lined up in front of her, smiling purely as kids of their ages should.

After seeing the little kids standing next to one another, Ming Jue came to a realization.

Snapping his head up, he turned to face Su Jin in disbelief. His tightly clenched fists were trembling as he nervously waited for her confirmation.

Puffing her chest out, Su Jin cleared her throat and arrogantly proclaimed: “Lo and behold! These three are the product of our combined genes! All Three of Them! How is that? Wanna seal the deal…”

(And get married to me?)

Su Jin gestured towards the man with her eyes, hoping that he would catch on to the hint.

Struck by the sudden relevation, Ming Jue’s pupils became dilated and he could no longer maintain his poker face.

Stiffening up on the spot, his eyes repeatedly swept across the three cubs.

For a split moment, his gaze swept onto Su Jin, then lowering all the way to her abdomen.

(Three of them…. from there??)

As he gradually regained control of his breath, he walked towards the cubs, a step at a time until they were within reach. The tall figure bent down, his heart was pumping rapidly as the corners of his mouth twitched.

Taking his time to imprint their faces into his eyes, and into his mind. One by one. All three were of his direct bloodline!!

The world had not forsaken him!

Raising his head back up to meet the gaze of the woman, who still had her chest puffed out with pride, all kinds of emotion swarmed into his heart.

Lightly scratching his head, Dabao sneaked a glance towards his mother and saw her nod of approval.

The little chubby boy squirmed a little, as blushes appeared on his rosy cheeks. He spoke softly: “Daddy…”

As if the tap sealing his emotions had been unleashed, the man broke into an uncontrollable smile. Ming Jue stepped forward to scoop Dabao up.

Embarassingly covering his face, he squeaked while sitting on his father’s shoulders: “I’m… actually pretty heavy.”

Ming Jue’s eyebrows curled as he looked at his son with great excitement. Without replying, he hugged Dabao and twirled around on the spot, as Dabao enjoyed the feeling of being swung around with his legs lifted off the ground.

“Good boy…”

Firmly placing him down, Ming Jue rubbed Dabao’s head before turning his eyes warmly towards Erbao.

Meeting his gaze, Erbao quickly turned his face slightly to keep up with his ‘grown up demeanour’ without uttering a single word. Nonetheless, he could not resist sneaking a few glances through his peripheral vision.

His lips pursed. Ming Jue could immediately tell that the younger son had inherited that personality from him.

Feeling nervous, the normally insensitive man attempted to start a topic first, coaxing his second son with a gentle tone: “Can I address you as Erbao?”

Erbao maintained a solemn expression and only responded with a single ‘Mmhm’.

But the difference now was that the corners of his mouth had slightly curled up.

The ‘little adult’ might think that no one had noticed it, but that minor detail definitely did not escape the eyes of Su Jin and the System.

Both of them: “…”

(Both father and son are too much of a tsundere!1TL Note: A Japanese slang, to describe someone who behaves bashfully to conceal their real feelings of affection. How will they get along if no one yields first? Life ahead sure is tough~)

Unable to bear the standoff, Su Jin intervened and scooped Erbao up, stuffing him into Ming Jue’s arms. “Hold on to him. No stopping until I deem that sufficient time has passed.”

The big adult and the ‘little adult’ exchanged gazes, as Erbao lowered his eyes without any resistance. He quietly snuggled his head towards the reliable chest of his father.

The corners of his mouth gradually curled up.

Ming Jue gradually tightened his embrace, immersing himself in the joy of hugging his son.

What had changed for him to be granted with such blessings in this timeline…

Three small, little treasures, and an adult-sized treasure.

“Thank you.”

The man faced Su Jin and finally managed to express the words of gratitude he had been holding back.

“Encountering you was the greatest blessing in my life…”

Su Jin held back her joy and tried to respond suavely, “Eheh, it’s not that big of a deal.”

It was only natural for a wife to pamper and spoil one’s own husband!

Since Su Jin had proven her capability and reliability, she could safely expect to obtain his body and marriage in due course… right?
