Yan Jia reached out his hand and grabbed the tail that was wreaking havoc on his face.

“Your classmate is still here, don’t get too excited.” He said to his sister.

Yan Wenqi let go of the tail in her hand and got off Yan Jia’s body. She pulled Tumi who was still standing there to her side.

“Big brother, this is Tumi, my good friend.” She turned to Tumi and spoke proudly.

“Tumi, this is my brother, the one who got into the Golden Crow Academy.”

Tumi staggered because of Yan Wenqi’s sudden attention to her. When she heard Yan Wenqi’s words, she quickly lowered her head and greeted Yan Jia in a low voice. “Hello, big brother.”

“Big Brother, where’s my present?” Yan Wenqi let go of Tumi and hugged Yan Jia’s arm, indicating that she would not let go until he gave her the present.

“Don’t worry. It’s here.” Yan Jia opened the suitcase behind him on the floor of the living room, revealing a few pieces of clothing and all kinds of books that were filled with boxes.

Yan Wenqi was not surprised at all. They grew up together, and she already knew what kind of person her brother was.

Tumi, who was behind her, was a little surprised to see a chest full of books, even though Yan Wenqi had told her long ago that her brother was a bookworm. However, seeing this large number of books still surprised her.

Yan Jia took out a small, exquisite box from the book and handed it to his sister.

“Open it and take a look.”

Yan Wenqi did not waste time in opening the small box in her hand.

In the box, on the bright red cloth, was a silver pendant. On top of it was also inlaid a golden red ball. The inside of the ball was flickering with golden light.

Yan Wenqi touched the ball on it, and it beat her expectations. The ball was not a gem, nor was it as hard as she thought it would be. It was even a little soft, and she could feel some warmth when she touched it.

“Brother, what is this?” Yan Wenqi took out the pendant from the box. She touched the golden-red ball on the pendant and asked Yan Jia.

Suddenly she perceived something and lifted the pendant so that the golden red ball on the pendant fell right in front of her face. She stuck out her little nose and sniffed the ball carefully. She could smell a very faint fragrance.

“This is the blood of the Golden Crow. It will be beneficial to you.” Yan Jia smiled as he answered his sister. He then pulled out a pendant from his chest, but it was not the same as Yan Wenqi’s. The pendant on Yan Jia’s chest was fixed with the claws of four birds.

The feet looked the same as the feet of the Golden Crow, with three claws in front and one claw behind. It looked like the blood bead was grabbed by a Golden Crow.

It was not like the pendant that was given to his sister; it was embedded in a silver pendant.

Compared to the necklace in his sister’s hand, the Golden Crow blood bead on Yan Jia’s chest was bigger. The four claws also revealed a trace of wildness.

The two pendants were specially forged by Yan Jia not long after he obtained the Golden Crow blood bead. Hanging it around his neck was also convenient for him to carry around. It was also good to “place it close to his body.”

Yan Jia smiled as he stuffed the pendants back into his clothes. His smile was very bright, and it was impossible to tell that he was in a “race” in which there was almost no hope for him.

However, he was no longer in despair.

” Oh. ” His sister passed the pendant to Tumi and asked her to put it around her neck.

After putting it on.

“How is it? Isn’t it beautiful?” Yan Wenqi asked Tumi with a smile.

“You guys can go out and play. I’ll take my things upstairs.” Yan Jia smiled and said to the two little girls, “Put the pendant under your clothes, it is good for your health.”

The last sentence was referring to his sister.

“Okay, let’s go out and play.” Yan Wenqi pulled Tumi out with one hand and stuffed the pendant into her collar with the other.

Tumi, who was being held by her, turned around and said goodbye to Yan Jia, “Goodbye, brother.”

“Come back early.” Yan Jia told them.

The girl said, “Alright, alright. Tumi, hurry up. Hurry up.”

Yan Jia watched as his sister dragged Tumi away. His smile faded and he picked up the luggage on the floor, heading upstairs.

He entered his room. The decoration in the room was exactly the same as when he left. He took out a book from his suitcase and placed it on the bookshelf. Yan Jia noticed that there was no dust on the bookshelf. It was obvious that his family had been cleaning his room all the while he was in the Academy.

Yan Jia began to place the books he brought on the bookshelf and began to fill in the empty spaces.

After putting the books away, he placed the few clothes in the box into the cabinet. He took out the package that Gou Teng had sent over and laid down on the bed to continue reading.

He waited until the Sun began to descend the mountain and Yan Wenqi had returned. Only then did his parents return home.

From the big and small bags in Yan’s father’s hands, it was not hard to tell that the two of them had just gone through a “bloody battle.”
