“My name is Yuv Wen, and I’m a Golden Crow. I live in the Scarlet Cloth District, and I am nine years this year. A Golden Crow less than a meter long stood on a Fusang Tree. It faced the two Golden Crows in front of it and shouted while flapping its wings. Even though Yuv Wen was standing on the ground, it could still look at the other two.

Yuv Wen, who was still chattering non-stop, was also frightened by the loud sound and shut his mouth. He swallowed the words he was about to say, and the Wood of Fusang branches that had been grabbed by his feet fell in fear.

The two Golden Crows had not flown for long before a giant Fusang Tree appeared in the distance. The Fusang Tree was so massive that it made them seem extremely tiny as they flew toward it.

As the distance between the crows and the tree closed, the Wood of Fusang became bigger and bigger. Even though the crows were huge, in front of this Fusang Tree, they looked like two tiny humans that had barged into a vast city.

The two huge Golden Crows gently landed on one of the branches of the huge Fusang Tree. Their rough movements had now become unusually gentle. They did not cause any damage to the huge Fusang Tree under their feet. Even the wind did not blow much.

Yuv Wen, who had finally calmed down along the way, also struggled out of the mouth of one of the large Golden crows and landed on the branch of the Wood of Fusang.

Three Golden Crows, two big and one small, stood on one of the branches of the Wood of Fusang. Under their feet, it was impossible to tell that it was just a tree branch. Instead, it looked more like a wide road.

One of the big Golden Crows stretched out its third giant claw and stepped on Yuv Wen’s tail feather. Yuv Wen, who had been trying to sneak away, shivered like a mouse caught by a cat. Even its feathers exploded. Yuv Wen turned around and flashed a big smile at the huge Golden Crow that was stepping on its tail feather.

Then, it was obediently transfixed to the same spot, not moving at all. He even wanted to find a hole to hide in.

After a long time, a two-legged Golden Crow flew down from the top of the Wood of Fusang. This Golden Crow was much smaller than the two large Golden Crows, and its outer appearance was also much gentle. It wasn’t as strong as the two Golden Crows that brought Yuv Wen back.

Yuv Wen saw the Golden Crow flying over and felt it had a strong backing. It placed its tail feathers between its two wings and used its wings to brush off the dust on its feathers while staring fiercely at the two large Golden Crows as if trying to kill them with its gaze.

“Don’t let him run away again.” The Three-legged Golden Crow that had been stepping on Yuv Wen’s tail feathers said to the Golden Crow that had just landed.

Yuv Wen had already hidden behind the other party- the Golden Crow that had just landed. However, it still stuck its head out from between the wings of the Golden Crow and its body, staring at the two large Golden Crows in front of it.

The third Golden Crow patted Yuv Wen’s head with its wings and nodded at the two Great Golden Crows in front of him without saying anything.

The two Great Golden Crows did not intend to continue the conversation. Instead, they took off again; they still had other things to do.

Once again, a white “muslin dress” floated up behind the two Great Golden Crows. However, this time, there was no loud sound. Yuv Wen stared at the two Great Golden Crows with an even fiercer gaze. However, when its eyes rested on the smaller Golden Crow, Yuv Wen’s look was not scary at all. Instead, it was adorable.

The Golden Crow, with a more gentle appearance, watched the two huge Golden Crows disappear into the horizon. Then, it lowered its head and looked at the small Golden Crow that was still hiding in its wings. It stared at Yuv Wen without saying a word.

Yuv Wen felt a little embarrassed from being looked at. It raised its tail feather towards the other crow and said, “Grandma Lu Jun, look: my tail feather has been broken by that big Golden Crow. Don’t be angry, okay?”

Lu Jun, who was also the Golden Crow who had rushed over, saw that there was only a little dust on Yuv Wen’s tail feather. She stretched out her wings and patted Yuv Wen’s head. Then, she lowered her head and picked Yuv Wen up with her mouth, turned around, and flew to the top layer of the Wood of Fusang.

There were nine small Golden Crows that were about the same size as Yuv Wen. They were playing a game together.

Seeing Lu Jun fly up, they immediately quieted down. When they saw Yuv Wen, who was being held by Lu Jun, they pointed their short wings at the former and smiled at each other.

Lu Jun put down Yuv Wen and said, “Next year, you will be responsible for cleaning the place.”

After saying that, she spread her wings and flew to the upper level of the Wood of Fusang.

Seeing Lu Jun leave, the little Golden Crows immediately ran to Yuv Wen’s side.

“Yuv Wen, we bet on exactly when you would be captured. In the end, you were caught before we even discussed the bet.” A Golden Crow bigger than Yuv Wen looked at it and spoke.

“Bo Yu, if it wasn’t for a small problem that happened today, I would have escaped. I wouldn’t have been caught.” Yuv Wen defended itself.

“Yuv Wen, you are going to clean up the place for three years. Do you still want to run?” One of the Golden Crows, which was even thinner than Yuv Wen, asked it.

“Ji Xing, I am not running anymore. I’ve already been cleaning that place for three years. If I run again, I’ll probably have to clean until I’m an adult.” Yuv Wen stuck its head out to look at the upper layer of the Wood of Fusang and answered loudly.

Unfortunately, the upper layer was completely blocked by the branches and mulberry leaves of the Wood of Fusang, so Yuv Wen could not see what Lu Jun was doing up there at all.
