Chapter 138 Shocked Out Of His Mind

Name:World Online Author:jdbeue
"Jake, you are joking right? How the hell did you come across this?" Peter asked, sitting on the bed now.

"I found it." Jake said. This part was true.

"What are you doing? Why are you giving this to me? You should use it. Why give it to someone that can't use it?" He asked, shaking his head.

"Trust me dad. Taking this is useless for me. I have no use being some stupid Dino Swordsman. I have a much better Class. See, this is worth taking the precautions. If I let you out on the streets, everyone would know that I had a stone that could give you an Epic class in possession." Jake said.

"This is way too valuable. On the market… no one would be stupid enough to sell something like this, but if they did, it would go for millions of dollars." Peter said, his hands trembling.

"That is why you need to take this right now. That is why I booked the room for the whole day. I need you to pass the quest today." Jake said.

The sword was in Peter's hands already, and Jake pushed the red gem into his father's hands.

"Go for it. I don't need it. You also have to get stronger. I need you to get stronger." Jake said.

This back and forth went on for a while. Peter was adamant. He didn't think that he deserved such a treasure. Maybe Michael could use it? Maybe Jake could sell it? But why give it to him?

"Dad! Listen to me!" Jake shouted.

"I don't need money. Michael is already set for life. I need you to get stronger, and I will make sure that mom gets a good class. This is all I can do. I went through a lot to get this class. Take it now, please." Jake said.

Peter stopped talking. He had nothing more to say. In his heart, he was also tempted. This was an Epic class.

Hundreds of thousands of people flocked to Diffast because there were RUMORS of an epic class surfacing there. Even though no one found it, they were still there, trying to look for it.

And yet, here, someone was pushing that epic class into his hands.

"Fine. I'll do it." Peter nodded.

"Finally. Alright. Enter the place- Wait. I can't let you do anything with that stupid equipment. Here take all of this." Jake dropped a complete named set that was of the Rare grade onto the ground.

This was the named set that Infinite Pines was working on. He had a lot of this, so he had a few lying around which he grabbed on the way to Uriel.

He had a feeling that Peter would need it, and he was right. Peter had garbage equipment.

"What is all of this? Is this a full set? This… this can go for a hundred silvers on the right auctions!" Peter exclaimed. He saw people pay top dollar for named sets before.

"This is just for now. Once you get your Class, you will be changing your sword. Well then, I will leave you to the class change quest. It should be difficult, so please pass. I need you to pass this quest." Jake said.

Peter nodded. He took the named set on the ground and equipped it. Jake smiled and nodded at him with approval.

Peter took a deep breath, putting the Epic Grade weapon in his storage, and tapping on the stone that Jake had shoved into his hands.

A popup appeared before Peter that was invisible to Jake. After moving his hands, Peter suddenly disappeared.

pa(nd)a novel "It takes so much time to convince them to do something that is good for them. Honestly. It was so much easier working with Michael. How do these adults become so uptight when they grow older?" Jake shook his head as he left the room.

He couldn't just spend all of the day waiting for his father to finish the Epic Class change. There was a lot of stuff that he had to take care of.

He needed to take a look at the reports that Faceless Darkness wanted to give him the day before. Jake sent him back because Jake was way too tired.

But now, things were different. Jake felt really good now, and he had the energy to back it up. A good rest energized him enough.

And there were a lot of things on his check list. One of them was the alliance. It stopped somewhere, and he needed to bring all of the big shots of each group together so that they could work toward the expedition.

And Jake had one other thing to prepare for the expedition. In his precious life, it took a year to enter the Western world for one reason. The players were not strong enough to push into the western world.

And the problem wasn't even that the western world was so much stronger than the eastern one. It was the chasm between them.

The outskirts of each world were filled with monsters that were of the fourth and higher tier.

Jake also had the mission from the God of Light that he had to worry about. And to finish all of this, he needed one or two trump cards.

And that trump card was came at the right time. All he needed to do was raise the dinosaurs so that they became strong enough to handle Tier four monsters.

But to do that, he needed to get the right building for that. He needed to build guild stables.

"I also need to finish my goddamn Tier Upgrade quest. I have to prepare for that." Jake reminded himself as he left the hotel.

[I am coming to the guild. Get Faceless Darkness and come to the office. I want to look at the reports with you and him.] he messaged.
