Zhou Yonge was the happiest man alive on the earth when he found Zhou Liying. She was a miracle that happened to him. He always tried to find the family of his brother and he finally found her.

When his brother died, alongside handling the business, Zhou Yonge tried to look for the lady his brother had married.

He had contacted all true members of the team which was sent with his brother but no one had the idea of where his sister-in-law had vanished.

Even the death of his brother was very mysterious.

First, the dead body of his brother was never found, who died in a helicopter crash.

Second, no one knew what his brother was doing in the said helicopter when he should have been travelling by the specially arranged car.

Third, the mystery of his sister in law. She had claimed herself to be a localist. His brother had loved her dearly but on his death, she had completely vanished. All her identities were fake, everything about her was fake. It was as if she never existed.

He and his mother had always looked for her, only to come across failure. They had no idea of the existence of Zhou Liying. She was a surprise for them, a good surprise.

From the moment he found her, he promised himself to treat her like his daughter, to give her the love his brother could not.

He had secretly built a team to look into the death of his brother, after realising the identity of his sister in law and after knowing how Zhou Liying was kidnapped. He had his doubts that maybe her kidnapping had something to do with the death of his brother.

As usual, Zhou Yonge decided to call Zhou Liying. It was evening so he was sure that she would receive his call. He wanted to call her in the morning, but from Zhou Bingbing, he knew that they had partied late last night and he did not wish to disturb her early in the morning.

'The person you are trying to contact is not answering your call.'

Zhou Yonge frowned when he heard the same message for the fifth time. He had already called her five times in an interval but she was not answering his calls, it was first.

Otherwise, she usually picked up his call only on the first time.

"Lili is with me, at my house. Our phones were on silent mode so I did not notice your calls." He lied smoothly.

"How can you be so responsible?" he gritted his teeth but then he remembered that Zhou Liying never silenced her phone. "You are lying. She never puts her phone on silent mode. What is going on, tell me?" he paused. "No, you don't tell me, but give me the phone to Lili; I want to talk with her."

"She cannot talk with you right now." Mu Yuehan looked at an unconscious Lili. She was not shivering like before.

He stood up from the bed and walked toward the window, to talk with Zhou Yonge, to not disturb her.

"Why can't she talk with me? Where is she?" Zhou Yonge felt something fishy.

lightsnοvεl Why was Zhou Liying not talking with him? He knew something was wrong but he did not know what. Only Mu Yuehan could tell him right now.

Mu Yuehan could hear the fear and worry in his voice. He knew how much Zhou Yonge loved Zhou Liying, so without any delay, he informed him, "She got sick last time. I have given her the medicines prescribed to her by the doctor. For now, she is sleeping."

"I am coming to your house." The heart of Zhou Yonge squeezed when he heard that his precious was sick and without any delay, he decided to visit the house of Mu Yuehan, only to be stopped by him.

"No need, she is fine for now. She is having a rest. Your presence will disturb her only. I am here to look after her."

"I am her uncle, I need to visit her. I need to see how my daughter is doing."

"And I am her husband. Trust me, I can look after her." Mu Yuehan sighed. "For now, you need to look after the corporation in her absence. She will need rest and you know how she is, she will not like for her corporation to be left without a leader."

Zhou Yonge too sighed, knowing well that what Mu Yuehan said was true. He needed to look after the company where Mu Yuehan was looking after his niece.

"I will visit you tomorrow, when she will gain consciousness." He then ordered, "Look after her with care, otherwise, no one would be worse than me."

"No worries uncle. You can trust me."
