Chapter 553 The Appearances of Top Players

Surprisingly, the young woman was Alice, Isaac's sister. After entering the dark abyss, and whirling portal, she appeared in a Realm of Priests. However, as soon as she opened her eyes, she received a message that she had somehow completed the first stage.

Shockingly, no one in that realm killed others. Thus, the system decided that three random players or New-Gen Humans would enter the Second Stage. With a stroke of luck, Alice was one of them.

''My name is Queen Eliza.'' The blond-haired woman extended her hand for a handshake.

''Ah.'' Alice looked surprised as she grabbed her somewhat rough hand. At first, she was shocked to hear her name. Queen Eliza was one of the top players alongside Kalzer, Xerxus, Amour, and Noelle from day one.

On top of that, Queen Eliza was said to be the strongest Knight in the game.

''I haven't heard about you before…'' Eliza said while removing her hand, ''What is your class? We need to work together to win this stage.''

''Priestess.'' Alice tried to pull out her Priestess cane from the Inventory, but to no avail, ''Eh? I can't take my weapon?''

''Priestess…'' Eliza frowned. She knew that it wasn't an attack class. The Faith Stat would give the Priest and Priestesses the ability to communicate with gods and provide the ability to buff allies and debuff enemies.

However, high-ranked Priests and Priestesses have the ability to borrow skills from the Gods. It was called Divine Magic. However, they were a rarity. Only players who have passed a certain threshold were called 'Divine Priest', and 'Divine Priestess'.

'If she hadn't reached that level, she wouldn't be much help.' Eliza thought with a deep frown.

Alice curiously looked at the surrounding walls. Then, she noticed a hidden clock deeply hidden beneath the dust.

''Look, Eliza!''

''Hmm?'' Eliza turned to the wall. At first, didn't see anything. However, then she could hear the tiny clicking noise, and the dust slowly cleared from the way as Alice cleaned the wall.

A mechanical clock, deeply stuck in the wall, showed the time limit and the number of points they had.

''Good job.'' Eliza patted her soft hair. However, at that moment pulled her hand back and flushed in embarrassment.

''Hmm?'' Alice curiously looked at her, blinking innocently.

'Seeing her made me think my daughter… how embarrassing.' Eliza turned around, hiding her flushed face.

Alice tilted her head in confusion. However, at that moment, she noticed the outdoors filled with beautiful nature.

''Look!''

''Hmm?'' Eliza shook the embarrassment off her face and turned to see the direction where Alice pointed. They both saw a flourishing forest and decided to go check it out.

Tap, tap, tap.

Kalzer tapped his foot against the rocky ground, holding his black-shafted spear. Below his feet, a bruised man knelt on the ground with humiliation flickering off his face.

''Why did you attack me?'' Kalzer said while clicking his tongue at the 'X' mark. He could only do some visible damage to his teammate but not kill. The Health Bar didn't go below 1 HP.

''I-I thought you were an enemy.'' The bruised man said in a low tone.

''Are you blind or what? I have an X mark hovering above my head. What did you think that was?'' Kalzer spat facts with cold look.

''I-I am sorry Lord Kalzer.'' The bruised man lowered his head further. Since the Starting Village, he'd been a powerful leader of an influential Party. They cleared all sorts of quests and dungeons.

However, in front of legendary Kalzer, he was nothing but an ordinary player. That fact caused a fire of anger to burn in his heart. There was a dream which included fame and wealth inside his mind. However, today, he hit an enormous wall, which looked unclimbable.

''Tsk.'' Kalzer looked around, and seeing the rocky walls with dusty texture, he knew this was one of the 'Living Quarters' of the event. This wasn't the first event that had those.

''Fine, do you want to be useful?'' Realizing something, Kalzer asked.

''Y-Yes?'' The bruised man raised his head, asking with curiosity.

''Go fetch some sticks, and maybe cut down a tree or two.'' Kalzer glanced at his teammate's axe. Hunter. With that class, cutting down trees should be a piece of cake.

''O-Okay…'' That order made the fire of anger burn even hotter. Usually, he would be the one giving orders while others had to listen or die. Now, the roles were reversed.

However, he gulped down his anger and pride. Heading out to the forest, he started picking up sticks, and after that, he raised his axe and swung it on the tree. With a single strike, the axe reached halfway into a tree, enough to make it fall.

Inside the cave, Kalzer had already found the dusty clock. Slowly the point count rose by one after the sound of the first tree crashing down echoed.

'Hacking down trees give at least one point…'

''L-Lord Amour…''

''You must be fucking with me.'' Amour rolled his eyes while resting his two-handed axe over his left shoulder. On the other side of the cave, a two-meter Giant humbly kept his head lowered. He looked like he had just met his idol.

''You are… Colossus, from Silver Death.'' Following Amour's voice, the two-meter silver-armored man smiled hugely. However, the smile looked hideous.

''Yes, sir!'' The dominant Colossus, who would often give despair to his enemies, respectfully spoke to Amour.

In the early days of White Online, he heard the rumors of legendary Lord Amour. Like many other axe-wielding players, everyone respected him. There were two idols they had, Lord Amour and King Arawn.

While King Arawn was part of Hunter's class, Lord Amour's class was never clear. It was like he'd had Unique Class since day one.

''Hmm, I have heard stories about you…'' Amour grinned, ''Barbarian Class. Strong enough to run through mountain and stay unharmed.''

''Hehe.'' Creepily, Colossus slightly blushed after getting 'compliments' from his idol.

The Tournament's difficulty increased far more as the identities of the contenders started getting revealed. While everyone was oblivious to the presence of others, the time until the confrontation between the strongest players grew nigh.
