A spark of red light appeared from the depths of the barrel. The spark slowly became a tiny crimson ball that let out tiny currents of electricity.

''GROWL!'' The shadowy creatures were close enough for their disgusting breaths to reach Isaac's nostrils.

''Pulverizer!'' Isaac pulled the trigger and immediately lit the whole pathway in a deadly crimson hue!

A crimson beam left the barrel and drilled straight through hundreds of shadowy creatures!

Isaac chose Pulverizer as his 200-level skill; even now, it was one of his strongest skills!

The crimson beam continued traveling across the pathway, killing everyone that happened to be on its path.

Burnt corpses of the shadowy monsters littered the pathways as the crimson hue slowly faded away.

Isaac opened the interface and saw his percentage rising.

The leveling-up mechanic also changed after reaching the 400th level. Instead of numbers, to level up needs ''percentage''.

The players receive a percentage by killing strong monsters and players. But, they could also receive a percentage if they completed a quest or did a challenging deed.

Currently, Isaac's percentage was 67%. To get to the next level, he would need 100%.

Killing those dangerous monsters only made his percentage rise by 5%!

Isaac closed the interface and again started running. With his incredible speed, he soon left the pathway and entered a large room.

There was another path at the end of the large room, but there were obstacles in the way.

In the ceiling, thousands of bat-like creatures flapped their wings while looking at the white-haired man.

Isaac immediately dropped his gun and covered his ears.

Almost immediately, the bats opened their jaws and sent their soundwave attacks toward Isaac!

The soundwave attacks destroyed the ground—if a normal person had heard it, their eardrums would have ruptured.

Isaac waited patiently, counting inside his mind. Once he counted to 25, the soundwave attacks stopped, and he immediately snatched his gun from the floor.

Then, he spun around with the gun's blunt edge resting against his shoulder and his finger touching the cold edge of the trigger.

The single bullet smashed into the rocky ceiling and sent a blast strong enough that killed every bat!

The thousands of bats fell from the ceiling, with their bodies riddled with wounds. They landed on the ground, twitching in pain until they finally died.

Isaac jumped to his feet and saw that the ceiling was about to fall apart!

He immediately started running towards the path in the distance. As the ceiling fell apart behind him, he entered the bright pathway and continued running as fast as he could.

His body looked like the aftermath as he moved across the pathway. Then, in the distance, a large door connected to the ceiling appeared!

Isaac's eyes shone because he had never reached this far before!

He had reached the last pathway before, but after killing bats, he would get surrounded by close to a million shadowy creatures. Thus, forcing him to give up.

However, now the path was completely empty. But then, close to a thousand shadowy beasts appeared from the shadows and guarded the enormous door.

''Tch…'' Isaac left the pathway and continued running towards the shadowy figures, who had already noticed him.

They growled in anger but didn't leave the door. Instead stood their ground.

Isaac aimed with his sniper rifle and smirked, ''Icy Shot!

A tiny icy-clad bullet left the barrel and slowly flew across the air. The shadowy creatures seemed alerted as they tried to move out of the way. However, then the bullet exploded, and the room temperature decreased by a few hundred!

The shadowy creatures tried to howl in anger but immediately got covered in a thick ice layer.

Isaac immediately swung his weapon and used the silver blade to cut straight through their bodies. Soon, the shadowy creatures were all dead, littering the ground with their broken ice bodies.

He immediately strapped the gun on his back and slammed his palms against the heavy door.

''Haaah!'' Isaac gritted his teeth and screamed as his muscles bulged like they were about to explode. The door slowly began opening but painfully slow.

''HOWL!'' Then, a bone-chilling howl came from one of the pathways. Isaac's face turned pale, and he began punching the door, which forced the door to open ever-so-slightly.

Behind him were thousands of different paths, each filled with enraged howls. It didn't take long for shadowy creatures to make their appearances. Suddenly, there were over a million of them, running straight toward Isaac with unbelievable speed!

They crossed a distance of a kilometer with one leap, and in only a matter of seconds, they would reach Isaac.

''OPEN!'' Isaac screamed, and suddenly his bones began glowing in radiant gold!

His strength immediately had an explosive rise!

The door opened with a slam, and Isaac jumped inside with loud shadowy figures trying to stretch their bony claws toward him.

Thud!

Isaac crashed to the ground and immediately turned around with his gun in his arms. However, then he saw the shadowy figures smashing against an invisible wall. They tried to claw their way through but couldn't!

''Haahh…'' Isaac heaved a sigh of relief, and then the door slammed shut. Instantly, a notification appeared in front of him.

[Congratulations, you are the first player to reach Dungeon of Priesthood's Boss Room!]

'10 percentage increase… Huge!' Isaac clenched his fist with celebration. Then, the Boss Room turned bright, and a large throne with a tall backrest appeared. A person with shadowy features sat on it with a large shield in his left hand and a longsword in his right.

The shadowy features cleared up—a youthful and handsome man with beautiful wings stood up from the throne. His gaze firmly locked on Isaac, and a desire for battle ignited inside him.

Isaac aimed with his weapon and moved his finger close to the trigger. The atmosphere turned heated, and the ceiling began cracking under the strong aura of the two men.

''Welcome, Player Wraith.'' The youthful man said with a handsome smile, ''My name is God Zephyros, Gatekeeper of this Realm.''
