Chapter 443 The Grand Auction (4)

After the heart-pumping bidding war, the auction hall became more silent, and the excitement cooled down.

The dark-windowed VIP suites were still silent, making the audience members wonder when they were going to make their first move.

It was like they could feel the stares of predators, the true wealthy ones that could bid way over 2 million!

The auction went by, and soon, the 20th, 30th, and 40th items went by.

Soon, it was time for the 50th item!

As the item was pulled to the stage, the audience turned louder because the item was human!

There were thousands of shocked looks and many disgusted ones. They didn't know that the Grand Auction House was also a Slave Auction House!

The humanoid figure was a pale-faced man with no emotion on his face. He was dressed in white clothing that was as pale as his skin.

The silver-haired smiled and saw the looks of disgust directed at him. He still didn't lose his smile as he began explaining.

"This is the 50th item, Fighting Puppet!" As his voice reverberated across the hall, the audience looked confused.

"The Fighting Puppet is not really human but built by our world's greatest minds for one purpose: to be both training partners and help in dangerous missions!''

"There are only 100 Fighting Puppets made, and we managed to get one with a stroke of luck. This is a chance you shouldn't miss out!"

The audience gasped in realization. They bowed as an apology, embarrassed that they thought it was a real person.

The silver-haired man's explanation also made many curious. The Fighting Puppet looked quite strong with a well-toned body.

"The starting bid is 500k!"

Before the audience could start bidding, a single voice rang from the dark-windowed room, "600k."

"Heh." The silver-haired man wryly smiled and glanced in the direction of the dark-windowed room. He lifted his hat and gave a short bow before straightening his back.

The audience was quiet, everyone held their breaths, and they didn't dare to bid against the VIP.

"Going once, going twice, sold." The silver-haired man knew that this was going to happen, but he hoped that other VIP guests would bid, but it seemed they were waiting for future items.

"Let's take a 10-minute break since we are halfway done!" The silver-haired man said and left the stage. The light disappeared from the stage, and the ceiling light was turned on above the audience.

Lune stretched her legs, letting out a tiny moan, and asked, "What should we do?"

"I have an idea," Isaac replied and leaned closer toward Luna. She timidly leaned backward, soon lying on the couch with Isaac above her, looking down at her beautiful face.

His lips soon pressed against her soft, pinkish lips.

Luna's vision turned foggy, and her cheeks flushed. She responded to the kiss, but as soon as she put more force, Isaac removed his lips and slightly smiled.

Luna's face was bright red as she held her palm on Isaac's chest, then she shyly spoke, "A-a-are you sure we should be doing this here? I-I thought we would this somewhere private… in your bedroom… o-or mine."

"Eh?" Isaac's went blank, and his heart stopped.

Luna blushed even further and continued, "I-I haven't even taken a shower yet… I-I didn't think we would do this so soon." She rubbed her legs together, making her look very alluring.

Isaac's mouth showed an "O" shape.

Luna shyly averted her gaze, her vision foggy and a happy smile on her face, "A-after auction? S-Somewhere private?"

As Isaac continued being blank as a white sheet, a voice came from the stage. The auction was resuming.

He briskly sat down with a straight back, his face clouded and heart pounding.

Luna sat up with a shy smile and cheeks pink with redness spreading around her ears.

The auction continued running smoothly.

The sky above Stronglord was dark while stars shone brightly and circled around a large moon.

The Grand Auction's event gathered a lot of attention as the event was quite bright and loud. It looked very festive, and even though there were still millions of citizens and players outside, they enjoyed the atmosphere.

They ordered food from roadside stalls and enjoyed the company of their friends.

As time moved quickly, soon it was time for the 79th item!

Luna rubbed her legs with nervousness. She then saw Isaac sitting blankly and remembered that he hadn't spoken a word for half an hour.

"Isaac?" She gently woke him out of his stupor.

"A-ah, yes?" Isaac whipped his head to the side and saw Luna's pink cheeks, causing him to gulp dryly.

"Next item is Root of Dreams. Are you sure you are fine?" She held his hand gently, worried that the real-life injury was affecting him.

"Yes… I have a question." Isaac couldn't remove the thoughts from his mind and decided to ask, just to be sure.

"Y-Yes?" Luna put her hands on her lap, listening curiously with a cute smile.

"You… talked about sex, right?"

Luna's cheeks went bright red, and her heart began pounding rapidly.

"D-d-don't say that aloud… it's embarrassing." She shyly smiled and twirled around with her hair. Then, she shyly nodded and replied, "Y-Yes… I-I don't think the place is appropriate to do such intimate act… and I kind of want to do it in real-life…"

Isaac's heart stopped for a moment before it continued pounding again.

He turned back to the stage with dry lips and nodded, "Ahem… yeah, you are right. In real life, it's better."

"S-So… when will we do it?" Luna asked with embarrassment. She felt slightly light-headed.

"After we log off?" Isaac said with a tiny smile and excitement sprouting inside him, "I know the hospital isn't the best place… but we would be alone with soundproof walls surrounding us, sounds quite a good place, right?"

Luna's body trembled, and she shyly nodded before turning away in haste.

"Going once, going twice, sold!" The silver-haired man announced the winner of the 79th item. Then, the 80th item was rolled to the stage, and the players in the audience turned serious.

Luna's eyes shook.

Isaac locked his fingers with a serious look, 'It's time.'
