Chapter 378 - The Marksman Vs. The Hitman.

After connecting the spawn spot to his bed, Isaac left the room and appeared in the training room with dark blue walls.

He stopped in front of the floating translucent screens with different options. Then, he chose an illusionary weapon in the shape of a bo-staff. After taking it out, he walked to the center of the room and chose several opponents.

The opponents were transparent with blue outlines. They were holding bo-staffs in their hands with a face void of any emotions.

''Start!'' Isaac shouted and lunged forward with the bo-staff ready to be struck down.

The illusionary training partners rushed forward with different stances. They instantly attacked after reaching close enough distance.

Isaac quickly spun the staff around and deflected the wooden staffs away with great strength. The training partners had obviously lower physical prowess than Isaac, and that caused a significant difference.

Then, Isaac stabbed the staff forward, and once it was about to get blocked by another wooden staff, he did a flick of his wrist and changed trajectories enough to hit the illusionary figure in the shoulder.

The strike had enough blunt force to cause the training partner to have his grip slip. The wooden staff fell to the floor, and he tried to stretch his hand forward to grab it. At that moment, Isaac moved across the room and sent a decisive strike at his nape.

The first training partner vanished into pixels. Only two remained, and they instantly lunged forward with staffs already descending.

Isaac spun around and put his staff above him. It blocked both attacks, and he instantly used his physical prowess to push the two training partners away. Then, he jumped over them while sending a smack to their heads.

The two illusionary figures crashed on the floor and faded away from existence.

After landing on the ground, Isaac wiped his sweat and put the bo-staff back in its former place. Then, he wiped his sweat-stained palms and logged out from the game.

The following day.

Isaac returned to the Colosseum and began fighting in the private matches. He fought for the whole day, and in the end, his win streak was 22-0, and his rank had reached the 29 rank!

That was already too high for him to continue fighting in private matches. From 30 rank till 1, they were forced to fight in public matches because those were usually matches that would interest anyone.

After arriving back in his VIP room, he joined the public match and began waiting for his match to come.

Yesterday, he thought that the only way to enter Private Matches was to have a VIP room, but that would need legacy. In the end, he started researching and found out that everyone has the opportunity to enter a private match, they just have to talk to one of the gladiators, and they give the option.

That made the VIP room much more valuable in Isaac's eyes. He didn't have to bother with talking and could only press a few buttons.

Today's winning streak allowed Isaac to increase his level by two. Now, he was at level 111, and it was rapidly rising.

Beep! Beep!

Then, the translucent screen in front of him beeped, and his opponent was shown.

His opponent was ranked 22 and was part of the Hitman class.

Then, Isaac's body slowly transformed into a floating pile of particles. Soon, his vision became dark, and he felt like he was swimming in the endless void of space.

Then, a bright light appeared from the horizon, and his vision returned.

After opening his eyes, he saw the packed Colosseum with a wide arena. He was currently standing in the middle of the enormous arena with his opponent, Hitman, standing some distance away.

His hands were touching his two guns that were wrapped around his waistline.

Then, one of the big doors appeared, and the beautiful woman who was always hosting the matches appeared.

Her looks were cold as she gazed at the Hitman, but when her eyes locked with Isaac's, her cheeks flushed, and a look of worship appeared.

She shakily raised her right arm and said, ''T-T-The battle… Begins!''

After shouting, she quickly retreated some distance away. Her gaze still followed Isaac like it was her life's only purpose.

Bang! Bang!

Hitman pulled out his pistols and began firing. The guns had a silver lining with a dragon-like symbol on the barrel.

Isaac pulled out his gun from inventory and jumped out of the way as the bullets whooshed through the air.

Hitman quickly changed the direction of his pistols and continued firing.

Once Isaac landed on the ground, he jolted to the side and managed to dodge the endless rain of bullets.

While watching the match, the beautiful gladiator clenched her fist until blood dripped down, 'That bastard… How dare he keep shooting at my God?'

Soon, Hitman's cooldown arrived. He quickly changed magazines and saw that he had to wait for ten seconds before the cooldown ended.

However, he was used to this. He knew how to survive the cooldown. It was to keep distance and try to stall time.

After not hearing the sound of firing anymore, Isaac stopped running and spun his gun around, which soon pointed at Hitman, whose center of gravity was lower than before.

Hitman was trying to anticipate the distance of the bullet and how fast it was. Then, he would dodge and do the same until the cooldown had ended.

Bang!

Isaac powerfully pulled the trigger and felt the recoil pushing his body down. The bullet left explosively and left a trail of smoke behind.

It traveled across the sky and was almost instantly in front of the Hitman.

''Haaahhh…'' Hitman closed his eyes and took a step to the left. The bullet flew past him and drilled through the Colosseum's rocky walls.

Then, Hitman smiled as familiar beeping noise echoed throughout his mind. The cooldown had ended.

He aimed at the white-haired youth, who was also preparing to shoot, and then he began firing!

Bang! Bang!

The arena was soon shrouded with endless barrages of bullets. The audience members covered their ears as the loud deafening sound echoed in the arena.
