Chapter 367 - Battle Against Silver Death (7)

A stealthy-looking woman appeared in the corner of the forest. From the openings of the trees, she could see the endless waves of battles happening.

She was dressed in full black clothing that covered every inch of her body. Even her face was masked with only her crystal clear eyes visible.

Pair of daggers hanged from her hips sheathed in scabbards. Her gaze lingered in the direction of the pathway. However, to reach it, she has to go through strong-looking players.

She wasn't feeling that confident about doing that. But, she had a skill that fit the current situation perfectly.

After ensuring that no one was near her, she crouched and began drawing in the dry ground with a small stick.

Soon, a pentagram was drawn, and it glowed before showing something completely different. The drawing showed a dimly lit path.

She smiled and stepped inside the drawing. Then, after opening her eyes, she was standing in front of the first test with blue blood staining the ground.

Her gender helped her find out how to pass the tests relatively easily. She only searched for Golden Crown or Black Arrow members and used her charm to pull their heartstrings.

After a few flirting sessions, she managed to find out everything. She took her first step and landed on the brown tile.

It was like a divine mountain was lifted off her shoulders. She smiled and continued jumping on the brown tiles. Soon, she reached the end and continued running.

The second test was easily passable, and soon she reached the hall.

Then, her body froze as she saw the earth-shaking battle. An enormous man was trying to kill two archers, who kept dodging and fought back without losing!

She bit her nail, 'This is bad… No one should have been here.'

She pulled out her teleportation pearl from the Inventory. The pearl showed number 1. It had only one use left, and she thought about using it to steal the Realm Portal.

However, she wasn't confident about reaching the Realm Portal without being noticed. But, the possibility of earning money beyond her wildest fantasies clouded her mind.

Her body became transparent as she used her stealth. Then, she stepped inside the hall and began running with a crazed look in her eyes.

After the portal was getting closer, her eyes glowed with hope. However, when she was about to begin walking up the stairs that led to the platform that held the portal, she was stopped by a single arrow that brushed past her head.

She shakily turned her head and saw Tobi looking at her with a stern look.

''Oh, who do we have here?'' Tobi pulled out another arrow. However, then Colossus leaped across the air and smashed his axe into the black-clothed woman.

''AAAHHH!'' She cried out as she was smashed into pieces. Her destroyed body became flashy-colored pixels that seeped through the cracked ground.

''Die!'' Colossus' face looked mad as he continued his rampage.

In Superfort.

The well-dressed men were hiding in a dark alleyway. Their gazes were locked on a semi-large building on another side of the street.

The streets were empty and desolate. Not even one passerby dared to walk past the Guild building of Silver Death.

Surrounding buildings were also empty and dark. There were stairs leading to the guild building's front door, and the windows showed an apparently empty building.

They looked at each other and the large sticks in their hands that had some kind of cotton-like item stuffed into the tips.

''Let's do this…'' They cheered themselves on and pulled out a small matchstick from their front pockets. Then, they scratched it on the side of the building, which caused a fire to begin flickering.

After that, they touched the cotton-like item with the matchsticks, and that caused it to burst into flames!

The flames were warm and bright. The dark alleyway was instantly illuminated in fiery colors, which attracted some attention from far-away passersby.

After all of them had lit up their sticks. They left the alleyway and rushed over the street.

The passersby's paled and finally knew they were about to do something horrible.

Then, the well-dressed man reached the steps, however, didn't take one step further. Instead, they threw the sticks that crashed through the windows and broke them into hundreds of tiny shards.

Soon, they saw fire becoming stronger and larger. It didn't take long for the smoke to seep through every window.

They looked at each other with equally pale faces. However, their eyes showed a glimmer of excitement. They turned around and returned to the alleyway.

They didn't stay there, instead ran away as fast as they could.

The passersby's faces were horror-filled. They couldn't believe that there were maniacs who attacked Silver Death!

Back on the battlefield.

Ding! Ding!

''Hmm?'' King Michael stopped attacking. His opponents, King Jonathan and Queen Diana, stepped back to catch their breath.

King Michael opened his chat and saw a message coming from a random player situated in Superfort. He wasn't part of Silver Death. Instead, the preferable term would be slave of his.

That random player told about their guild building being on fire.

''What…'' King Michael's eyes widened in surprise. He didn't expect there to be anyone who would do such a thing!

In his memory, everyone was afraid of them, and for a good reason too. He gritted his teeth and sent a message to Colossus about how was he doing but didn't receive a reply.

''Fuck…'' He muttered under his breath. He hoped that Colossus didn't utter their plans to whoever he was fighting. That would complicate things.

''Everyone!'' Then, he shouted, which attracted everyone's attention.

''Use your tickets. We are returning to Superfort!''

His subordinates looked surprised, but they listened. They pulled out their purple-colored tickets and ripped them in half.

King Michael also pulled out his ticket and took another glance at King Jonathan. He snorted and ripped the ticket in half. Soon, he was gone as well.

King Jonathan and Queen Diana looked at each other. Both had similarly shocked looks.
