"Phew... It's kinda strange having to be in this body."

The cage made of fire that hid Zel extinguished itself after a while. What came out of the process wasn't the boy anymore, nor was it the remnant. It was just, Zel. He opened his eyes, revealing an orange color.

"I'm back! I'm finally back!"

Pumping his arms in the air, Zel smiled like an idiot as he pranced around his new territory. An island that was surrounded by water. He could tell that it was an island because there was nothing in the island except for brown soil. The edges were filled with sand that bordered on the water.

He was back, but was he really? Since his memories had somewhat been transferred to the boy's body, he felt like he was alive. But was it really him? Or was it the boy with just his memories?

'Uhh... Is having such deep thoughts part of being a kid? I'm too curious for my own sake.'

The Zel of the future and the Zel of the past combined, but what was the result?

The Zel of the future became the only Zel. It was as if the dump truck of memories flooded the boy, drowing him. Taking hundreds of years of memory and passing it to a young boy's child just made it impossible to stay as the innocent child. But there are a few penalties that were done to handle such a process.

Even just having a fraction of the future's memories packed into his brain took a toll on Zel's body. He felt like he was getting a bad headache by just being alive. But now that he was 'in control', things should get much easier from now on. He also had the advantage of the mana core in his chest that could let him handle much more punishment than if he didn't.

With penalties came advantages as well. Ones that he intends to use without restraint. If he wanted to do right by his decision, he needed to be more assertive. First thing being, he needed to get stronger.

There are a lot of ways that he could get stronger. Even just growing older would make him stronger, as his body would be able to better adapt to his power. He wasn't going to do just that, however, as he wants to get things done much faster than before. Taking things slowly would be counterproductive.

Zel's soul had already been able to witness the possibilities of his class, King. The first being that the king needs a kingdom, and he made sure that the new system will enable him to build one.

Having a kingdom would greatly increase his strength, as it allows him to vastly increase his mana storage. There is also the fact that he had a few new toys that he could use, including the Memory Hall, The Library, Armory, Garden and most importantly, his Time Chamber. But the problem still stands.

How could a nine-year-old kid make a kingdom?

Zel looked at the open, blue sky. There was no sun in this place, but there was light. It was strangely calm, with nothing but the splashes of the waves to sound out in the distance. He grinned. He was free to do as he pleases, nothing could stop him now.

"Toph! Show me my status!" Zel raised his hand, showing a glowing ring on it. The best thing about having this 'Artifact' with him was that made it possible for him to transfer the system's interface on it. Now, he didn't need his phone to communicate with 'Toph', the system's given name.

The transfer of memories that happened earlier was just the start. As the body was still too weak, the rest of the memories were locked away. He needed to complete the Memory Hall to slowly integrate those into his mind.

"It seems that boost in soul power made me increase my power. That time energy is a good thing to have now that I got this new island to build around."

Zel wandered around the island to measure how much territory he's got. A small island like this should be big enough for a small kingdom, good enough for a start. Even the Oculus didn't have such a large space, though he is quite stressed about losing his resources that made creating it much easier.

"Toph. Open up the Kingdom Status."

Looking around, Zel found that he had nothing to do here. Sure, he could do some landscaping and some excavation work. But if he had no plans to build upon, then he'd just be wasting his time.

"Toph, show me my active quests."
